Kajian Hubungan Internasional adalah jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Laboratorium Diplomasi, Jurusan Ilmu Hubungan Internasional, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Wahid Hasyim Semarang, tujuannya adalah menjadi ruang diskusi ilmiah ,tentang berbagai wacana keilmuan Hubungan internasional dalam bentuk penelitian mandiri dosen maupun penelitian bersama antara dosen dengan mahasiswa. Jurnal ini terbit setahun dua kali, pada Bulan April dan Oktober. Sebagai ruang atmoster akademik, maka jurnal ini terbuka bagi seluruh hasil penelitian mandiri dosen maupun penelitian bersama antar dosen dengan mahasiswa, diluar program Studi Hubungan Internasional Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik Universitas Wahid Hasyim Semarang Semoga kehadiran jurnal ini mampu memperkaya cakrawala keilmuan Hubungan Internasional, baik secara internasional maupun nasional.

Abstract

This research is a contemporary study that addresses Indonesia's national interests to make Gunung Sewu a UNESCO Global Geopark Network. Global Geopark Network is a network with the name UNESCO that has a role to preserve the geological heritage and promote sustainable development in the community. Whereas Gunung Sewu is a karst region that is rich in tourism potential and geological heritage. In this study, the author focuses on the importance of the basic Indonesia to make Gunung Sewu the Global Geopark Network. The researcher used Felix Oppenheim's theory of national interests which stated that national interests were the ideals or goals of the state to prosper. As well as perspective from Joshua Goldstein that in order to achieve the goals of a country, a country cooperates with other parties. Based on the analysis and data, it is known that the national interests that Indonesia wants to achieve are our economic interests, namely increasing state revenues from the tourism sector and conservation interests to preserve the nature of mountain waste for the survival of the community.

Abstract

This article describes about the Role of Women in contemporary era. In the Contemporary era, women doesnt focus on fight to get their equality of her rights. But, she to take a part in all of the field, such as politic,economy,internasional organization, and soon. In contemporary era, we’ve known that we have multipolar pattern, and individu can to be actor of international relations. One of the example in this cases role of Beauty Vlogger or Influencer as fight of feminist in contemporary era. She doesnt look for equality but she shows her capabilities to join in a lot of fied. She can to be Brand Ambassador, Mediator and Comunicator of the International Cosmetic. Beside that, she can giving influence to society to buy the cosmetics from arond the world. She can empowerment her self to influence someone for the better future on her life. She use Social Media like youtube and instagram to promote her capabilities. This article use Liberal Feminsim to answer this fenomena, because of women can get her right, for example Women can empowerment her self, and can giving impact from her role to be Beauty Vlogger or Influencer. The Role of Beauty Vlogger has important meaning for International Trade of Cosmetics. It can increase of international or Local Tradeof Cosmetics and separate the self-acceptance and support each other for similar gender.Abstrak :Artikel ini menjelaskan tentang Peran Perempuan di era kontemporer. Di era Kontemporer, perempuan tidak fokus pada perjuangan untuk mendapatkan kesetaraan hak-haknya. Tapi, dia berkiprah di segala bidang, seperti politik, ekonomi, organisasi internasional, dan sebagainya. Di era kontemporer, kita telah mengetahui bahwa kita memiliki pola multipolar, dan individu dapat menjadi aktor hubungan internasional. Salah satu contohnya dalam hal ini peran Beauty Vlogger atau Influencer sebagai perjuangan feminis di era kontemporer. Dia tidak mencari kesetaraan tetapi dia menunjukkan kemampuannya untuk bergabung dalam banyak medan. Dia bisa menjadi Brand Ambassador, Mediator dan Komunikator Kosmetik Internasional. Selain itu, ia dapat memberikan pengaruh kepada masyarakat untuk membeli kosmetik dari seluruh dunia. Dia dapat memberdayakan dirinya untuk mempengaruhi seseorang untuk masa depan yang lebih baik dalam hidupnya. Dia menggunakan Media Sosial seperti youtube dan instagram untuk mempromosikan kemampuannya. Artikel ini menggunakan Feminsim Liberal untuk menjawab fenomena ini, karena wanita bisa mendapatkan haknya, misalnya Wanita dapat memberdayakan dirinya sendiri, dan dapat memberikan dampak dari perannya menjadi Beauty Vlogger atau Influencer. Peran Beauty Vlogger memiliki arti penting bagi Perdagangan Internasional Kosmetik. Hal ini dapat meningkatkan Perdagangan Kosmetika Internasional atau Lokal dan memisahkan penerimaan diri dan saling mendukung untuk sesama jenis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini melakukan pembahasan terkait pelanggaran-pelanggaran yang dilakukan oleh Batalyon Azov Ukraina pada konflik Rusia-Ukraina tahun 2014 - 2022. Azov Battalion merupakan tentara sukarelawan, bukan buatan pemerintah. Batalion Azov didirikan pada Maret 2014 dan mengambil nama dari wilayah pesisir kota Mariupol yang menjadi markasnya. Batalion Azov berkembang dari patriot Ukrayíny (“Patriots Ukraina”), kelompok paramiliter neo-Nazi yang merupakan organisasi sayap kanan, Battalion Azov dikenal juga sebagai “Men in Black” atau tentara dalam seragam serba hitam di daerah Mariupol. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berdasarkan studi pustaka melalui buku, jurnal, serta sumber-sumber resmi atau sumber-sumber yang tersedia di internet. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teori Hukum Humaniter Internasional dari Jean Pictet. Menurut Jean Pictet, Hukum Humaniter masuk ke dalam bagian dari hukum publik internasional yang penerapannya dilakukan pada saat berlangsungnya perang atau konflik bersenjata guna memberikan perlindungan terhadap orang-orang yang mengalami penderitaan atas hak asasinya akibat dari konflik bersenjata, seperti penduduk sipil, anggota militer yang terluka, sakit atau tawanan semasa konflik bersenjata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelanggaran yang dilakukan oleh Batalion Azov termasuk ke dalam pelanggaran hukum humaniter internasional dan pelanggaran ini kemudian dilakukan penindakan secara hukum melalui perantara Perserikatan Bangsa-bangsa.

Abstract

This thesis aims to find out the reasons that prompted Bhutan to open diplomatic relations with Israel in 2020. This study was written using a qualitative approach, namely a study that uses data obtained through library research techniques such as books, official state documents, news and other mass media. This study uses the theory of national interest to determine the goals and interests of Bhutan. In this study, two reasons were found that pushed Bhutan to open diplomatic relations with Israel in 2020, namely the existence of Bhutan's national interests in the economic and military security fields.

Abstract

This research aims to determine how the Japan Foundation's role in carrying out Japanese cultural diplomacy in Indonesia in 2015-2018. As a result of colonial events in the past, Japan wanted to change its negative image in the eyes of the Indonesian people, besides that they conducted cultural diplomacy as well as to achieve their national interests. Therefore to launch the diplomacy process they formed the Japan Foundation in Indonesia.                                                                                 The research method used in this study is a qualitative method that is descriptive and analytical. This method seeks to describe the situation based on existing realities and is supported by theories and concepts that are used in order to be able to describe research precisely the nature, circumstances and symptoms, as well as supported by literature study, and online search. Theoretical foundation used is role theory.  The results of this research indicate that the Japan Foundation has a significant role in fulfilling Japan's national interests. The role of the Japan Foundation as an Instrument for the Exchange of Art and Culture, as a Place for Japanese Language Education and Learning, as a Japanese Study Group and Intellectual Exchange creates an understanding between the people of Japan and the people of Indonesia so that it becomes an important factor in the development of diplomatic relations between Japan and Indonesia. So it can be concluded that the Japan Foundation is an important part of Japan's success in implementing the country's cultural diplomacy in Indonesia.

Abstract

The Crime of human trafficking is a form of modern slavery and basically transnational in nature. East Nusa Tenggara is the province with the highest number of victims of trafficking in Indonesia, which continues to experience an increase in the number of victims each year. The purpose of this study was to determine the causes of human trafficking in East Nusa Tenggara 2016-2017. The study found that the increasing number of victims was caused by several factors. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method used through library research and interviews. From the results of the analysis using the concept of the Portuguese protocol there are several factors that are causes, namely poverty, education, culture, unemployment, and low law enforcement. To overcome human trafficking crimes in East Nusa Tenggara, intervention from many parties is needed to eradicate the factors that make it easy for people to become human trafficking.

Abstract

 Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan peran Uni Eropa dalam kampanye lingkungan melalui film “Save kalimantan”, teori Organisasi Internasional adalah bahan yang digunakan dalam kajian penelitian ini. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualiatatif yang mencakup penelitian dan pengumpulan berbagai material empiris. Kesimpulan menunjukan bahwa peran Uni Eropa dalam kampanye lingkungan melalui film “Save kalimantan” adalah peran sebagai advokasi, peran sebagai komunikator, peran sebagai motivator. Program kampanye lingkungan yang di lakukan Uni Eropa melalui film “Save kalimantan” yaitu terjadinya perubahan pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku masyarakat yang termotivasi membangun mental masyarakat yang berkomitmen untuk mendukung kelestarian lingkungan terutama dalam menjaga hutan dan flora fauna yang ada di dalamnya.

Abstract

The United States National Interest in the Implementation of China's 2018 Steel and Aluminum Product Tax aims to find out the reason Donald Trump imposed China's steel and aluminum tax in 2018. The research used by the author uses qualitative research based on literature reviews such as from books, journals and other mass media. The author uses the theory of national interest. Where, this theory is used to determine the goals and interests of the United States. The results of this theory found two reasons why the United States imposed a tax on China's steel and aluminum products in 2018. Political interests and economic interests are the reasons Donald Trump imposed a tax on China's steel and aluminum products in 2018. The trade war between the United States and China has raises pros and cons in various parts of the world. The trade war launched by Donald Trump as president of the United States certainly has national goals and interests for his country. The taxes imposed by Donald Trump on aluminum and steel against China led to reciprocal action from China to the United States as well. But China is not standing still. China reported Trump's actions to the World Trade Organization (WTO). The United States has also been sanctioned for this action.

Abstract

This study aims: To determine the concept of the principles of applicable Islamic law and International Humanitarian Law regarding war; To know the implementation of the principles of applicable Islamic law and International Humanitarian Law regarding War; The scope of this research is the principles of Islamic Law regarding the regulation of war in International Humanitarian Law regarding the involvement of children and women in war; The research method, using a normative juridical approach, is a law-oriented research method that regulates the principles of Islamic law regarding war in International Humanitarian Law. This means collecting primary and secondary data, and tertiary data based on the object of research. The data in question is processed descriptively. The results of the study found that: From a juridical point of view, the Islamic Law System and humanitarian law question the protection of the rights and obligations of the civilian population against the rules regarding how to resolve conflicts and the consequences of the conflict itself. Implementation of the Islamic law system and humanitarian law in regulating legal protection for humans due to armed conflict, namely the existence of fair treatment of fellow human beings as well as respect and protection in the sense that the humanitarian element must be prioritized, so as to prevent acts that excessive as contained in the Geneva Conventions of 1949 and its Additional Protocol to Islamic Law derived from the Qur'an and Al-Hadith. This is meant, broadly speaking, stipulating a prohibition on killing civilians who did not participate in the war, killing children, women and the prohibition of destroying cultural objects, places of worship and other places of benefit.

Abstract

This research discusses globalization and the technological revolution, which is increasingly developing technology and information. The mobilization of the world community is also growing and more complex. This is what triggers globalization to occur because trade and financial movements can become easier to do. The author wants to describe the objectives and reasons for the Financial Services Authority in collaboration with the Monethary Authority of Singapore in the field of financial technology. By using the theory of National Interest, which is defined as the ability of a country to protect its physical identity, political identity and cultural identity. National interest is both a tool and a goal to be used as a medium to achieve the national goals of a country. The level of analysis used is the domestic influence because it is related to activities that occur at the country level. The type of research in this paper is qualitative analytic with secondary data. The author also describes the background for the formation of cooperation, the dynamics in the continuity of cooperation and the condition of financial technology in Indonesia. At the end of the research, the reasons for the cooperation between OJK and MAS are explained, namely technological developments, strengthening economic foundations and information exchange.
