Abstract

RSD K.R.M.T Wongsonegoro has implemented Electronic Medical Records (EMR) in healthcare services. However, several issues related to data security are still encountered in its implementation, including the continued use of paper-based forms, staff practices that may compromise account confidentiality, errors in patient data entry, and system disruptions affecting data availability. This study aimed to evaluate the compliance of Outpatient Registration Officers with the Electronic Medical Record privacy policy based on three main aspects of information security: privacy, integrity, and availability. This study employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with Outpatient Registration Officers and direct field observations. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing using triangulation of interview and observation results. The results showed that, in terms of privacy, officers understood the importance of maintaining data confidentiality and used personal accounts; however, practices such as recording usernames were still found, which may pose security risks. Regarding integrity, officers generally followed data entry procedures and performed data verification, although accuracy was not always consistent during periods of high workload. In terms of availability, the EMR system supported healthcare services, but system disruptions still occurred and hindered access to patient data. It can be concluded that staff compliance with EMR data security policies was generally good but not yet optimal. Therefore, improvements in supervision, staff compliance, and system reliability are needed to enhance data security and service quality.

Abstract

The Free Health Check-up (CKG) is a government program designed to strengthen promotive and preventive health efforts through the early detection of risk factors, pre-disease conditions, and diseases across the community according to the life-cycle approach. As a relatively new initiative, the implementation of the CKG program in primary healthcare settings still requires further evaluation to assess implementation readiness, digital support systems, and community participation. This literature review aimed to examine the implementation of the Free Health Check-up Program in primary healthcare services. Relevant literature was retrieved from the Google Scholar database using the keyword "implementation of the free health check-up program" and was limited to open-access, full-text articles published between 2025 and 2026. The search identified eight eligible articles, which were extracted and analyzed in this review. The synthesis revealed three major themes in the implementation of the CKG program: (1) primary healthcare service readiness, (2) digitalization and reporting systems, and (3) community participation and communication strategies. Primary healthcare readiness includes the availability of human resources, infrastructure, medical equipment, consumable medical supplies, funding, service workflows, and cross-sectoral coordination. Digitalization through the SATUSEHATplatform and integrated reporting systems has the potential to improve service efficiency; however, challenges remain regarding digital literacy, internet connectivity, and the technical capacity of healthcare personnel. Community participation is influenced by knowledge, attitudes, the roles of community health volunteers, teachers, healthcare workers, and communication strategies tailored to the characteristics of the target population. The successful implementation of the CKG program requires strengthening primary healthcare systems, optimizing digital health platforms, and adopting community-based communication strategies to ensure the program is more effective, inclusive, and sustainable.

Abstract

The Society 5.0 era demands increased student health literacy as an essential competency. However, previous research has tended to focus only on the health education aspect and has not comprehensively examined the integration of technology-based health education management. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effectiveness of technology-based health education management innovations and identify key factors influencing their successful implementation. This study used a mixed methods approach with a sequential explanatory design. Quantitative data were collected through a survey of 200 students, while qualitative data were obtained through in-depth interviews with 10 teachers and the principal. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, while qualitative data were analyzed using a thematic approach to strengthen the interpretation of the results. The results indicate that technology-based health education management innovations have a significant impact on improving student health literacy. Furthermore, it was found that successful implementation is influenced by five main factors: school institutional support, availability of technological infrastructure, teacher training, student motivation, and parental involvement. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of managerial and technological approaches in health education, tested through a mixed methods approach. These findings confirm that successful health literacy improvement is determined not only by the use of technology, but also by organizational readiness and multi-stakeholder collaboration. The implications of this research provide theoretical contributions to the development of technology-based health education management models and practical recommendations for educational institutions facing the challenges of Society 5.0.

Abstract

The rapid digital transformation of Indonesian hospitals has positioned management dashboards as strategic instruments to support evidence-based managerial decision-making. However, the extent to which the quality of hospital management dashboards influences the speed of managerial decision-making has not been sufficiently examined in Indonesian tertiary hospitals. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between the quality of the hospital management dashboard and the speed of managerial decision-making at Malahayati Islamic Hospital Medan in 2026. A quantitative analytical study with a cross-sectional design was conducted on 70 managerial staff (heads of units, heads of installations, supervisors, head nurses, and managers) selected through simple random sampling from a population of 85. Data were collected using a validated Likert-scale questionnaire (1–5) covering six dimensions of dashboard quality and four dimensions of managerial decision-making speed. Univariate, bivariate (Spearman's rank correlation), and simple linear regression analyses were performed. The results showed that 68.6% of respondents perceived the dashboard quality as good and 71.4% reported fast managerial decision-making. A significant, strong, and positive correlation was found between dashboard quality and managerial decision-making speed (r = 0.782; p < 0.001), with an R² of 0.612. The study concludes that improving dashboard quality substantially accelerates managerial decisions, supporting the DeLone & McLean Information System Success Model in the Indonesian hospital context.

Abstract

Digital transformation of hospitals in Indonesia has accelerated following the Ministry of Health Regulation No. 24 of 2022 that mandates the adoption of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) in every healthcare facility. Nevertheless, the effectiveness of EMR in improving outpatient service efficiency remains inconsistent because it depends heavily on the digital literacy of health workers. This study aims to analyze the effect of EMR implementation and staff digital literacy on outpatient service efficiency at Mitra Sejati General Hospital. This research employed a quantitative analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. The population comprised 120 outpatient staff, and 92 respondents were selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using a validated Likert-scale questionnaire (1–5) and analyzed through univariate, bivariate, and multiple linear regression tests supported by classical assumption testing. The results indicated that EMR implementation (β = 0.412; p = 0.000) and digital literacy (β = 0.368; p = 0.000) had a positive and significant effect on outpatient service efficiency, both partially and simultaneously (F = 58.734; p = 0.000), with an Adjusted R² of 0.559. The findings imply that strengthening EMR governance and continuous digital literacy training are strategic interventions for improving outpatient service efficiency in Indonesian hospitals.
