Najah: Journal of Research and Community Services is a scientific multidisciplinary journal published by Kalam Nusantara Center Research as one of the research institution in Universitas Islam Zainul Hasan Genggong . It is at the national level that covers a lot of common problems or issues related to community services. The aim of this journal publication is to disseminate the conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved and or its implication. Journal of Research and Community Services encompasses research articles, original research report, reviews, and scientific commentaries in education, including Education for Human Resources Development, Community Empowerment, Social Entrepreanurship, and nonformal or informal education. This journal will be published four times in a year (March, June, September and December).

Abstract

In line with government programs, in order to increase human resources, and to also increase the Human Development Index for Probolinggo Regency, SMA Negeri 1 Sukapura is also participating in maximizing the schoolliteracy movement. This effort was realized by forming a community called the “Komunitas Selasan”. The “Komunitas Selasan” focuses on literary literacy activities which lead to the publication of a literary bulletin within a certain period. Apart from activities at the school level, the “Komunitas Selasan” also collaborates with various parties outside the school who have the same attention to the world of literacy. This shows that to increase human resources, it is necessary to create a movement that is creative and collaborative,and utilizes various potentials that can be used for common goals.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to increase innovation in the food sector by using kenikir leaves as a basic ingredient for making cookies. Increasing people's purchasing power with delicious and cheap innovations. Increase public awareness aboutthe importance of healthy food. Creating new jobs and creating an independent Probolinggo Regency community. The method used in the research is descriptive qualitative. The research results show that cookies are a new breakthrough in the innovationof healthy snack products from kenikir leaves to increase awareness of consuming healthy food for the public. This healthy food innovation can be consumed by various age groups.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to describe the application of the Sakera method in learning Indonesian on essay material containing scientific literacy and to describe the implications in the form of increasing literacy. The method used in the researchis descriptive qualitative. The research results show that the Sakera method is a new breakthrough in learning methods. Thisinnovation can be carried out by Indonesian language subject teachers easily and pleasantly. The sakera method positions teachers as facilitators in learning who have strong, innovative and sustainable efforts so as to change learning methods that refer to the large domain of scientific literacy, namely the science process. In the era of independence, learning with the dimension of the Pancasila student profile, namely critical reasoning, stands out in this innovation. Another skill aspect that has implications is the writing aspect. Scientific literacy exists as a real form of innovation that can be demonstrated.

Abstract

Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) is a set of behaviors that are practiced on the basis of awareness of the results of learning, which makes a person, family, group or community able to help themselves (independently) in the field of health and play an active role in realizing public health. Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) seems easy to say but its application is very difficult because it requires awareness and seriousness about the importance of maintaining health. The implementation of PHBS in schools is an absolute necessity along with the emergence of health problems that attack school-age children. The purpose of implementing this activity is to increase the knowledge of elementary school students about Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) at school. The method used was the lecture method and the implementation of the school PHBS snakes and ladders game. The participants involved were 19 students of SDN Sumber Kembar with descriptive analysis of pre and post test results. The PHBS Snake Ladder is a promotional media to deliver messages and receive health information used in schools. The PHBS Snake Ladder is designed to provide knowledge to students through learning while playing methods. From the method used, the results show that there is an increase in students' knowledge about clean and healthy living behavior at school as shown by the average increase in pre-test and post-test scores from 81.58 to 95.78 so that there is an increase in knowledge by 14.2%.

Abstract

This Health Bazaar innovation was developed due to the low level of coverage of early detection of NCD risk factors in 2021 due to the impact of Covid-19 which has caused all activities for the community to be limited. Meanwhile, the Health Service demands that coverage of early detection of NCD risk factors must be 80% and coverage of other programs must increase. In this Health Bazaar activity, there are several integrated health service activities aimed at the community. In this Health Bazaar activity, the Dringu Health Center provides several health services available at the Dringu Health Center, namely: health screening, doctor service consultations and treatment, nutrition consultations, consultations. traditional health care, sensory and mental screening, VIA examinations, vaccinations and various health education for the community. This Health Bazaar includes several service activities that are combined and brought to the community so that people can easily access the various health services provided by the Dringu Community Health Center. This Health Bazaar activity is carried out around and targets places where people gather. This is so that people can easily receive services at the Dringu Health Center without leaving their daily activities for too long, and it is hoped that people will be more interested in the various services available at the Dringu Health Center. With this Health Bazaar activity, the performance achievement figures for several programs at the Community Health Center have increased, one of which is early detection achievement from 16% to 61.5%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah menganalisis penggunaan media pembelajaran Kahitna Tampan CQR Paper Mode dalam meningkatkan keterampilan operasi hitung penjumlahan pada siswa kelas IV SDN Tegalrejo. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Tegalrejo yang berjumlah 11 anak dan objeknya adalah keterampilan operasi hitung penjumlahan dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran Kahitna Tampan CQR Paper Mode. Metode pengumpulan data melalui kegiatan observasi untuk mengamati keterlaksanaan penggunaan media pembelajaran dan tes tertulis untuk mengetahui efektivitas media dalam meningkatkan keterampilan operasi hitung siswa melalui hasil belajarnya. Kemudian analisis data dilakukan dengan deskripsi kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran Kahitna Tampan CQR Paper Mode dapat meningkatkan keterampilan operasi hitung penjumlahan. Berdasarkan asesmen diagnostik kognitif yang dilakukan sebelum pembelajaran diperoleh hasil rata-rata ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 54,5%. Sedangkan setelah pembelajaran menggunakan media pembelajaran Kahitna Tampan rata-rata ketuntasan belajar klasikal meningkat menjadi 81,18% dengan persentase ketarampilan operasi hitung sebesar 81,06 atau berada pada kategori terampil.

Abstract

One of the activities of students that needs to be developed is their knowledge. Apart from religious knowledge, today's students are required to keep up with current developments, one of which is learning foreign languages. The aim of providing foreign language assistance is to hone the potential of Nurul Islam female students in foreign languages. In Laweyan village there is the Nurul Islam Islamic boarding school. This boarding school is included in the comprehensive boarding school, which has 23 female students. The accompanying method used is the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) method. The result of mentoring Nurul Islam female students is that Nurul Islam female students can understand how to pronounce and write foreign language vocabulary, especially English and Mandarin. And Nurul Islam students can develop and improve foreign languages ​​into modern languages.

Abstract

Most of the people in Bremi Village have dairy farming businesses. However, some of them are still confused about the nutrition for their cattle. So innovation is needed regarding cow food in the village. The aim of this program is to provide knowledge to farmer groups so they can improve their skills in making fermented elephant grass for animal feed. The method used is the ABCD (Asset-Based Community-Development) method. This outreach was carried out by providing material and practice to farmer groups regarding how to make fermented elephant grass. This material introduces the materials and tools used in the fermentation process, the benefits of fermented elephant grass, the nutritional quality of elephant grass, and techniques for processing fermented elephant grass. The results of the activity evaluation show that community knowledge, especially the livestock breeder group, which initially still had minimal knowledge regarding elephant grass fermentation, has increased quite well after the socialization was held. So it can be concluded that apart from implementing the tri dharma of higher education, this community service also helps government programs in encouraging the productivity of dairy farmers in Bremi Village.

Abstract

The Smart Action Training held at SMK Hafshawaty Zainul Hasan Genggong Probolinggo on November 27-28, 2023 aims to improve students' skills and competencies in facing the challenges of an increasingly competitive world of work. The program is designed as an effort to combine theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice, so as to produce graduates who are ready to work and have high competitiveness. The training includes various modules covering the development of soft skills such as effective communication, teamwork, and leadership, as well as the enhancement of hard skills relevant to each student's vocational field. The training methodology involves interactive lectures, simulations, group discussions, and practical projects directed by industry experts and practitioners. Evaluation of the training outcomes showed significant improvements in participants' technical and non-technical skills. In addition, feedback from students and instructors indicated that the program was very effective in motivating students to learn more vigorously and be solution-oriented. The conclusion of this training is that the integration of smart action in the vocational education curriculum can make a positive contribution to the development of students' competencies and their readiness to enter the workforce.
