BATIK: Jurnal Pengembangan dan Pengabdian Masyarakat Multikultural adalah jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Institut Riset dan Publikasi Indonesia (IRPI). Fokus utama dari Jurnal BATIK adalah hasil Penelitian, Pengabdian Masyarakat, Pengabdian Masyarakat Berbasis Riset dan Pengembangan Masyarakat secara Nasional. Jurnal BATIK terbit 3 (tiga) kali dalam satu tahun (April, Agustus dan Desember). Jurnal BATIK ditulis dengan menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia terdiri dari 6 sampai dengan 10 halaman A4, menggunakan manajemen referensi mendeley dan similarity/ plagaiarisme dibawah 20%. Penyerahan naskah pada Jurnal BATIK menggunakan sistem Open Journal System (OJS) dengan menggunakan format Microsoft Word (.doc atau .docx).

Abstract

This community service activity was conducted at Pondok Pesantren Nurul Huda Banat in Pekalongan, aiming to enhance the understanding of 8th-grade MTs students regarding the harmonization between science and religion. The main issue addressed was the students’ limited comprehension of the interrelation between these two fields. Through face-to-face socialization and interactive discussions, the program presented material covering the concept, objectives, implementation, and challenges of science-religion harmonization in the context of pesantren education. Evaluation results indicated a significant improvement in participants' understanding, increasing from 0% to 100% after the activity. This initiative demonstrates that a contextual approach can effectively foster integrative and critical thinking among students and encourage the development of a pesantren generation that balances intellectual and spiritual growth.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the awareness and understanding of santriwati Pesantren Putri Al-Barqy towards the importance of implementing a halal lifestyle in everyday life. Halal lifestyle does not only include aspects of food and beverages, but also includes clothing, cosmetics, financial transactions, and media consumption in accordance with the principles of Islamic law. The methods used include initial observation, distribution of pre-test and post-test questionnaires, interactive counseling, and comprehensive evaluation. The initial survey results show that most students still have a limited understanding of the concept of halal comprehensively. After the activity was carried out, the post-test results showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge, awareness, and desire to implement a halal lifestyle. Educational media in the form of brochures and open discussions proved effective in delivering material and building personal reflection. As a form of desire, the service team compiled a digital module that can be accessed independently by santriwati, and encouraged the integration of the material into the routine curriculum of the Islamic boarding school. This activity makes a real contribution in instilling halal values as part of the identity and habits of santriwati, and encourages them to become agents of change who can spread halal lifestyles in society.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role and function of Seni Beluk as a cultural identity of the indigenous community in Kampung Adat Cikondang, Bandung Regency. Seni Beluk is a traditional Sundanese vocal art passed down through generations, rich in spiritual and social values. The research employed a qualitative case study approach involving field observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results show that Seni Beluk functions not only as entertainment but also as a medium for religious preaching, moral advice, and reinforcement of customary values in communal life. The lyrics are recited during significant events such as childbirth, thanksgiving, house construction, and circumcision ceremonies, carrying deep religious and social meanings. The main challenge in its preservation lies in the lack of generational continuity due to the younger generation’s limited interest and vocal skills. Preservation efforts are carried out through cultural education and documentation. Seni Beluk stands as a symbol of cultural resilience for the Cikondang community, and its integration into counseling services highlights its potential in developing students' character. Therefore, preserving Seni Beluk is crucial to maintaining local cultural identity in the face of modernization.

Abstract

Administrative tasks at Posyandu Restu Ibu are still managed manually, including the recording of child growth data, maternal health, and activity reports. This condition often results in data management difficulties and delayed information access. To overcome these challenges, a web-based information system was designed and implemented to assist cadres in recording and managing Posyandu activities more efficiently. The system provides features for recording toddlers and pregnant women data, scheduling services, and generating reports in real time. The implementation shows that the system improves data accuracy, speeds up information retrieval, and simplifies the preparation of monthly reports. By utilizing this technology, Posyandu Restu Ibu can deliver services that are more structured and responsive to community needs

Abstract

Breast milk is the perfect food for babies. Breast milk contains essential and complete nutrients that babies need for their growth and development. However, in reality, there are still many mothers who do not provide exclusive breastfeeding due to various factors, one of which is breast milk that is not smooth. Breast care is an effort to launch breast milk production, so that it meets the needs of the baby. The purpose of this activity is to conduct community service by providing breast care training towards exclusive breastfeeding success for breastfeeding mothers in Kalanganyar Village, Sedati, Sidoarjo. Activities include pretest, training, discussion and question and answer, and posttest to evaluate the level of understanding of breastfeeding mothers. Abstract

Islamic education has an important role in shaping children's character from an early age. However, Qur'anic learning often faces challenges in creating an optimal and enjoyable learning experience. The neuroeducational approach, which integrates the principles of neuroscience in education, offers the potential to improve the effectiveness of Qur'?nic learning. This research aims to explore neuroeducation-based Qur'?nic learning strategies in the context of Islamic education for early childhood. This research used qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis. The research subjects include Islamic education teachers and parents who understand the application of neuroeducation. Data were analyzed thematically to identify effective patterns and strategies in neuroeducational-based Qur'anic learning. The results show that the neuroeducational approach can increase students' motivation to learn, strengthen their understanding of Qur'anic material, and support children's emotional and social development. Teachers who apply this strategy tend to create a learning atmosphere that is interactive, fun, and in accordance with children's brain development. In conclusion, the integration of neuroeducation in Islamic education contributes significantly to improving the quality of Qur'?nic learning. This study recommends training for educators to understand the principles of neuroeducation and its application in Islamic values-based learning. Abstract

Peningkatan kesadaran akan pentingnya gaya hidup sehat dan religius di kalangan generasi Z turut mendorong kebutuhan akan edukasi pemilihan produk skincare yang halal dan aman. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi kepada siswa MAN Pekalongan mengenai pentingnya memilih produk skincare yang bersertifikat halal dan terdaftar Badan Pengawas Obat dan Makanan (BPOM). Pengabdian dilaksanakan melalui metode penyampaian materi, diskusi interaktif, dan evaluasi berbasis kuesioner yang diikuti oleh 25 siswa. Materi meliputi pengenalan ciri produk halal, pentingnya label Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) dan BPOM, serta praktik mengenali kemasan produk. Hasil kuesioner menunjukkan bahwa 90% siswa memahami materi yang diberikan, 84% menyatakan ketertarikan untuk menggunakan produk halal, dan 78% bersedia menyebarkan informasi yang diperoleh. Diskusi yang dilakukan menunjukkan tingginya antusiasme dan rasa ingin tahu siswa terkait kandungan produk, urutan pemakaian skincare, dan efek penggunaannya. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan literasi halal di kalangan siswa, tetapi juga mendorong sikap kritis dan selektif terhadap konsumsi produk kosmetik. Edukasi skincare halal terbukti efektif sebagai strategi pemberdayaan konsumen muda dalam membentuk gaya hidup yang lebih sehat, aman, dan selaras dengan nilai-nilai Islam. Diharapkan kegiatan serupa dapat dilakukan secara berkelanjutan di sekolah-sekolah lain.

Abstract

Sekolah Binekas is a private school in South Bandung that has implemented the Merdeka Curriculum in its learning process. However, monitoring students’ learning achievements is still done manually using traditional records or basic digital spreadsheets, making it difficult for teachers and school management to analyze progress systematically. This community service project aimed to develop a prototype of a web-based digital reporting system to enable real-time tracking of student learning outcomes. The development process involved requirement analysis, user interface design, and system implementation using a user-centered design approach. The system enables efficient data entry, assessment recap, and learning achievement visualization, offering better accuracy and usability than manual methods. Furthermore, it supports school administrative tasks, such as preparing reports for accreditation and evaluating the curriculum. Trial use at Sekolah Binekas indicated that the system simplifies assessment data access for teachers and aids school management in making data-driven decisions. The system offers a practical contribution to a more structured, digital, and locally adaptive monitoring process for Merdeka Curriculum implementation.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to empower Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) teachers in enhancing their skills to design deep learning through innovative training. The program was conducted at MTs Al-Fauzi and involved 20 teachers as participants. Initial analysis revealed that most teachers were in the medium (45%) and low (35%) categories, while only 20% achieved the high category. This indicated that teachers faced challenges in integrating higher-order thinking skills (HOTS), problem-solving, and project-based learning into their lesson plans. After the training, a significant shift occurred: the low category decreased to 10%, the medium category dropped to 30%, and the high category increased to 60%. These results demonstrate that innovative training through hands-on practice, collaborative discussion, and lesson design simulation was effective in improving teachers’ skills. However, the program had several limitations, including limited training duration, short-term evaluation, and a relatively small number of participants. Therefore, continuous mentoring and follow-up activities are recommended to ensure that the improved skills are consistently applied in daily classroom practices.

Abstract

The Jampana attraction and the creation of traditional arts are collaborative creations that have become the identity of Garut Regency, which we continue to preserve and maintain wholeheartedly. This article aims to examine the novelty of the Jampana attraction and the arts and culture resulting from the process of traditional art creation and creation. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation, and training. Data analysis techniques are carried out using qualitative analysis techniques that include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Meanwhile, for data validity techniques, the researcher uses data triangulation techniques and methods. The results of this study state that known as stretchers are usually used in various traditional activities, arts and cultural activities, Islamic day activities, and national activities. Each stretcher contains various forms, ranging from agricultural products, forms of identity of each region, sheep, house shapes, fish, and others. This Jampana Attraction Art has many innovations that have been created by the community in accordance with the development of the times and this needs to be preserved to become a cultural heritage that continues to be cared for by various generations. Traditional Collaborative Arts and Creative Arts carried out in the process of creating creative and innovative works involve several arts, namely Gamelang Degung Art, Gamelan Awi Art, Badeng Art, Jampana Dodombaan Art, Traditional Dance Art, Dwiwarna Music Art, Angklung Art, Arumba Art, Raja Dogar Art, Creative Dance Art.
