Abstract

The need for personnel in an event is one of the keys to the success of an event held. Event Organizer (EO) is one of the containers that can accommodate workers not fixed in accordance with their field that can increase the success of an event because it is filled with experienced people. EOZone is one of the containers that handle various art events, sports, and other events. The author designed and built an EOZone that aims to accommodate job seekers in finding and obtaining information that requires personnel in an event. The system was developed using a User-Centered Design (UCD) approach that is able to provide information and facilitate the application process from job seekers, especially related to event organizers. This research was created with the intention to find out the initial response of job seekers to the system to be built. In the next development, a feature will be built for the job provider to publish the vacancy if the initial response is good. The system is built using the Python programming language with the Flask Framework with MySQL database. The results of this study state that the process contained in the system has run smoothly as evidenced by the results of black box testing. User tests are conducted by providing questionnaires to prospective users and the results show that users agree EOZone can be used as a medium to help job seekers get information about an event.

Abstract

The Coronavirus disease outbreak caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome by coronavirus 2 was first reported in Wuhan, Hubei province, China in December 2019, until March 2, 2020, President Joko Widodo announced the first case of an Indonesian citizen who was confirmed positive for COVID-19. The development of new cases of COVID-19 patients in Indonesia is still being reported even though the pandemic has lasted for almost two years. Then need a way to determine predictions or predict the number of increases in Indonesia’s COVID-19 cases in the future using machine learning technology with the Linear Regression algorithm. Estimating the number of active cases adding positive COVID-19 cases in Indonesia over the next 3 months using the machine learning method using the Linear Regression algorithm. This study predicts COVID-19 cases using machine learning with the Linear Regression algorithm. The model results have a linear coefficient, so the model predicts very well for linear data on days 0 – 300, and on the day after that, the number of positive cases of the national COVID-19 virus does not continue to show a linear relationship, the model becomes inaccurate again. The results of the parameter evaluation show that the level of accuracy is low, but this model can be used as a reference for case predictions for the next month with the results of comparison of predicted data and actual data not much different.

Abstract

The switch on and off of a light takes time when it has to be done in a lot of space. Not to mention in a multistoried building that had to turn the lights on and off on each floor of the building and in each room. Not only that, the omission in turning on and off lights would be very dangerous if left unchecked. Besides electrical waste, a fire starter will occur when lights will run continuously. To make it easier for users to engage in daily activities in turn off lights especially in many areas, it is suggested in this study that a prototype of the current monitoring system and light intensity control for lights based on the Internet of things which the design would be integrated with wi-fi and android. The prototype was built to provide the solution by turning off and turning on the lights without having to move from place to place. Designed by simple looks, the user can control it via the android. With the prototypes and created systems it is expected to make user activity easier and minimise the user negligence factor in turning on and off lights that can overload electricity to fire triggers.

Abstract

Kartu Prakerja is one of the government's flagship programs in providing training to the workforce. In its implementation there is a lot of information scattered, especially on social media Twitter both in the pros and cons of Kartu Prakerja program. Based on information in the form of tweets that have not been analyzed in depth, it is necessary to analyze sentiment on the Kartu Prakerja in order to obtain appropriate information based on the opinions of netizen s on Twitter. This study discusses sentiment analysis of tweet data with the keyword “Kartu Prakerja” which uses data as many as 6658 tweet data taken in the period May 27 - August 5, 2021. This research uses the Naive Bayes Classification method which has several stages, namely data retrieval, data preprocessing, manual labeling, data training and testing. The solution offered in this study is to create an analysis model that can be used to perform sentiment analysis about Kartu Prakerja on Twitter. Based on the results of this study obtained that the calculation of accuracy obtained a value of 86% for training data and 87% for data testing. This study concluded that the Kartu Prakerja has a positive sentiment by Twitter netizens based on the results of Classification that discusses many positive sentiments such as the benefits, effectiveness and addition of the Kartu Prakerja budget.

Abstract

With the increasing population and the reduction of water catchment areas due to numerous development projects that disregard green open spaces, coupled with a lack of public awareness regarding the importance of water flow, many individuals continue to consciously dispose of garbage into rivers, including river areas, dams, and reservoirs. This behavior leads to river blockages, resulting in flooding in those areas and other low-lying regions. The traditional method of monitoring water levels heavily relies on human operators, which can introduce errors when interpreting water indicators. To address these challenges, this research adopts a design-oriented methodology to develop an automated system for real-time maintenance and monitoring of water levels. The study begins with a comprehensive analysis of the existing issues and the underlying processes involved. Subsequently, the research focuses on designing and implementing a prototype system using appropriate materials, system development tools, and methodologies. The proposed system consists of a water level detection device integrated with a servo-controlled dam opener. Experimental tests demonstrate the device's effectiveness in accurately detecting changes in water levels, with an average accuracy of 10 cm from the sensor point. Additionally, the servo-controlled dam opener plays a significant role in regulating water flow within the system. The proposed system aims to facilitate efficient monitoring and decision-making processes, thereby reducing the occurrence of human errors in determining water levels.

Abstract

Aquascaping is a more artistic activity that arranges aquatic plants, rocks and wood in an aesthetically pleasing way in the aquarium thereby giving the effect of underwater gardening. The main purpose of aquascaping is to create an underwater scene with the aspect of maintaining aquatic plants and its need for energy through photosynthesis. Several factors that must be considered in the photosynthesis process include lighting as a substitute for sunlight, the level of water turbidity and the water temperature in the Aquascape. This study aims to build an Aquascape monitoring system for the Aquascape by utilizing a turbidity sensor. This study discusses how the water turbidity sensor aids work. When the water condition changes from clean to cloudy, the tool will send an email notification in the form of a solution. The water turbidity sensor reading tool is expected to be able to determine the water content by using a turbidity sensor which is relatively cheap and has good quality. The design of this water turbidity state uses the prototype method and uses the Arduino software which is used as an interface between the PC and the sensor. This research produced a prototype of a sensor reading tool to measure the turbidity of the water using NTU units that have been determined by the minister of health for water turbidity standards 5-25 NTU. Which can be used by Aquascape lovers to get information on water turbidity levels.

Abstract

The sragenkab.go.id website serves as a vital platform supporting the operations of the Sragen district government, disseminating accurate and prompt information to the public. However, various issues hamper its functionality, such as interface display problems, unclear layout, non-functional links, excessively simple design, and slow response times. To address these concerns, this study aims to evaluate the sragenkab.go.id website's usability and accessibility aspects using the Website Usability Evaluation (WEBUSE) method and the Web Content Accessibility Guideline (WCAG) 2.1 method, respectively. Using the WEBUSE method, a survey questionnaire was distributed to 100 respondents from Sragen to assess the usability level of the website. The obtained score of 0.65 indicated that the website's usability is categorized as "good" and has been accepted by the users. On the other hand, the accessibility evaluation using the WCAG 2.1 method, with the assistance of the WAVE tool and accessibilitychecker, revealed a score below 75%, indicating a significant risk of non-compliance with international accessibility standards. In conclusion, the sragenkab.go.id website exhibits commendable usability; however, it falls short in terms of accessibility. The findings emphasize the importance of optimizing the website's accessibility to adhere to international regulatory standards, ensuring equitable access to information and services for all users. Future improvement efforts should focus on rectifying accessibility issues to enhance the overall user experience and inclusivity of the website.

Abstract

Along with the increasing times and the more busyness of humans, drying problems often become a very troublesome problem because it is still conventional by using direct sunlight. For example, when the crackers are drying, rain falls when the workers are doing other work. Of course the workers will feel anxious if the crackers that have been dried in the sun are wet with rain and have to be redried, so this research proposes to help the workers drying the crackers. This research will discuss the workings of the rain sensor, LDR (Light Dependent Resistor) sensor and heat / temperature sensor for drying crackers with the Arduino Uno system. This study aims to make a prototype cracker drying device that can automatically open or close the protective tarp for the cracker drying rack when it rains or the sun's light intensity has darkened using the Arduino Uno microcontroller. The design of this application uses the method prototype and uses the DELPHI programming language by utilizing the Arduino IDE and using the Microsoft Access database. The results of this study were obtained in the form of an automatic cracker drying tool application that can detect weather conditions during drying well. This tool will help the drying process from the beginning of drying until the crackers are completely dry and ready to be marketed.

Abstract

This research aimed to conduct sentiment analysis on user reviews of Indihome, one of Indonesia's leading internet service providers, using data collected from Twitter. With a growing user base of 7 million, Indihome achieved an impressive revenue growth rate of 48% by the end of 2019. To assess user satisfaction, sentiment analysis was performed on tweets containing the keyword "indihome" between July 1 and July 11, 2022. A total of 10,000 tweets and retweets were collected and subjected to data preprocessing, manual labeling, and training using the Naive Bayes Classifier method. The training phase involved 1,000 tweets, equally divided between positive and negative sentiments, manually labeled for accuracy. For evaluation, 200 labeled tweets were used as testing data. The sentiment analysis results were remarkable, with 98% accuracy achieved for the training data and 91% for the testing data. These findings demonstrate the effectiveness of the Naive Bayes Classifier in accurately determining sentiment from Indonesian-language tweets about Indihome's services. By analyzing user opinions expressed on Twitter, this study provides valuable insights into the level of user satisfaction with Indihome as an internet service provider. Leveraging sentiment analysis applications on Twitter social media enables companies like Indihome to gain a deeper understanding of customer sentiment and make informed decisions to improve their services. The research showcases the importance and effectiveness of sentiment analysis in evaluating user feedback and enhancing customer satisfaction in the internet service industry.

Abstract

The Unjani Yogyakarta campus, specifically the Informatics Study Program, currently relies on manual methods such as calling students individually or using journal book signatures for attendance. This approach has drawbacks, including flexible attendance time, time-consuming procedures, and potential disruptions to student focus during lectures. To address these issues, the author conducted research to develop a student attendance information system for the campus. The system utilizes a client-server architecture and incorporates NFC technology on Android smartphones and RFID cards. The research aims to establish fixed attendance times and enable digital attendance through Android devices. It also facilitates monitoring of lecture activities for program administrators by integrating mobile and web applications. The system, developed using JAVA for mobile clients and PHP with CodeIgniter and Bootstrap for the web server, was built using the Research and Development method. The resulting student attendance application streamlines the attendance process for program administrators and lecturers. However, it should be noted that the system relies heavily on an internet connection and can serve as an alternative for online classroom attendance.
