Abstract

This study aims to analyze the learning needs of a speech-impaired student, design a differentiated learning model contextualized to the characteristics of the madrasah, and examine the effectiveness of the design in improving student participation and learning achievement. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach conducted at MI Muhammadiyah Klaseman. The research subjects consisted of one fifth-grade speech-impaired student and a classroom teacher as a supporting informant. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and limited trials. The needs analysis revealed that the primary barrier faced by the student was instructional communication access rather than cognitive ability. The developed differentiated learning model included differentiation of content, process, product, and learning environment through visual supports and alternative non-verbal responses. The effectiveness test showed an improvement in learning participation from low to high category and an increase in learning achievement with an N-gain score of 0.57 (moderate category). The study concludes that a needs-based differentiated learning design is effective in optimizing the potential of speech-impaired students and strengthening the implementation of inclusive education in Islamic elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation strategies of learning management based on individual needs assessment for students with disabilities at SMK Muhammadiyah Delanggu. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation analysis of lesson plans and student assessment records. The findings indicate that individual needs assessment was systematically integrated into the modification of learning objectives, adaptation of teaching methods and media, classroom organization, and the implementation of adaptive evaluation using performance rubrics and portfolios. The applied strategies included breaking down competency indicators into operational steps, utilizing visual media and step-by-step demonstrations, organizing small structured learning groups, and providing continuous formative feedback. The implementation of these strategies significantly improved students’ participation, independence, and self-confidence in vocational learning activities. The study concludes that learning management based on individual needs assessment is an effective approach to strengthening inclusive education practices in vocational secondary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of hospital services in a sustainable manner within the era of healthcare transformation. The research employed a mixed methods approach with a sequential explanatory design, combining quantitative analysis of hospital performance indicators with qualitative exploration of service management practices. Effectiveness indicators included Bed Occupancy Ratio (BOR), Length of Stay (LOS), and Turn Over Interval (TOI); efficiency was measured through Bed Turn Over (BTO), Cost Recovery Rate (CRR), and waiting time; while service quality was assessed using patient satisfaction index and patient safety indicators. The findings indicate that data-driven management strengthening, digitalization of hospital information systems, and the implementation of continuous quality improvement significantly contribute to improving hospital service performance. The integration of clinical effectiveness, operational efficiency, and service quality forms the foundation for hospital sustainability in responding to regulatory demands and national healthcare transformation initiatives.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of differentiated classroom management in improving the psychological well-being of students with intellectual disabilities at SLB Ungaran Barat. The research employed a quasi-experimental approach using a non-equivalent control group design. The participants consisted of an experimental group receiving differentiated classroom management treatment and a control group receiving conventional classroom management. Data were collected through a psychological well-being scale, structured observations, and teacher interviews. The indicators of psychological well-being included self-confidence, emotional stability, social participation, and learning motivation. The findings revealed a significant increase in the psychological well-being scores of the experimental group compared to the control group, with a large effect size. These results indicate that the implementation of differentiated classroom strategies positively contributes to improving mental health and socio-emotional development among students with intellectual disabilities. The study recommends differentiated classroom management as a sustainable pedagogical strategy in special education to support students’ holistic development.
