JOURNAL OF HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL STUDIES is a journal that uses a double-blind peer review model that can be accessed online. The purpose of HUMAS JOURNAL is to publish a journal containing quality articles that will be able to contribute thoughts from a theoretical and empirical perspective in society and humanities at a regional, national, and global scale. The writings at JOURNAL OF HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL STUDIES will significantly contribute to critical thinking in the area of society and humanities. The scope of the fields contained in HUMAS JOURNAL covers the following areas: social work, social welfare, social change, and social policy; humanism and human rights; corporate governance, and community studies; crosscultural and multiculturalism studies; economy, management, population and development studies; ethics, and intergroup relations; war, conflict, and international relations; local genius (local wisdom and local knowledge); popular culture; studies of inequality (class, race and gender studies); theology philosphy art literature and other related areas. Abstract

Advertising is a useful place to insert various messages that you want to convey to the public. As the holy month of Ramadan approaches, television media advertisements will begin to enliven this important month for the Islamic religious community, one of which is Marjan's advertisement. Marjan advertisements that are broadcast on television media and Youtube advertisements are used as a sign or reminder by the public that the holy month of Ramadan is getting closer. Marjan's advertisements always insert important life messages. Based on this, this study aims to analyze the moral message contained in the advertisement for Marjan 1444 H using a qualitative descriptive method with semiotic theory introduced by Roland Barthes regarding denotation, connotation and myth. The data collection method is through observing Marjan's 2023 advertisements, both Part 1 and Part 2, which are broadcast via television broadcasts and can be viewed again through the Youtube application. The results of this study indicate that the 2023 edition of Marjan's advertisement can represent a moral message through the audio and visuals displayed by the advertisement such as the environment will be angry if it is not taken care of, do not litter and help each other and if you work together you will achieve success.

Abstract

The purpose of making this journal is to find out the meaning of the lyrics of the song "Asmalibrasi" then the next goal is to find out what meaning is contained in the lyrics of the song "Asmalibrasi" and some of our goals, especially this song is specifically for teenagers who are in love trying to continue to the next stage. more serious, namely marriage, but the couple had doubts because of the many problems that arose, but the couple was finally able to proceed to the marriage stage because by lowering their respective egos. The theory that we use is according to some well-known experts. The method we use in this journal is by listening to songs and reading the lyrics of the songs. The results of our analysis show that each of the lyrics of the song "Asmalibrasi" contains many meanings that we must learn. Our recommendation is to be careful in choosing each partner, not because of societal standards. The meaning expressed is the meaning of denotation, connotation, and myth. In this study, Roland Barthes' semiotic theory is used to explain the denotation, connotation, and myth of the meaning of "Fall in Love" contained in the lyrics of the song. The research method used is an interpretive qualitative method or an inductive way of thinking, namely a way of thinking from the specific to the general. The data collection technique used is document study, namely tracing and obtaining from various sources where the required data is contained. The results of a semiotic study of the lyrics of the song "Asmalibrasi" are as follows. The meaning of the denotation of the lyrics of the song "Asmalibrasi" is Telling about the desire to be immediately married by a lover, this song also contains a deep message full of meaning.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the framing in the news coverage of the sexual violence case against a junior high school student in Langkat, North Sumatra using a case study of the CNN Indonesia news portal. This research was conducted to understand how the media, in this case CNN Indonesia, framed the case through the presentation of news and the point of view used in the reporting. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method, with a focus on framing analysis. This research aims to explore and understand the meaning given by individuals or groups to the social issues discussed. The research data was obtained from CNN Indonesia's online media platform. The data consists of news articles related to cases of sexual violence against junior high school students in Langkat, North Sumatra. Data collection techniques involved collecting information from CNN Indonesia's online portal, reading and identifying information and ideas in the selected news articles, analyzing the news using the framing analysis model of Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki, presenting the results of the analysis, and drawing conclusions.

Abstract

The legal requirements for marriage and the religious norms of the couple's chosen faith go hand in hand. There is no guarantee of legal certainty for either the couple or the offspring of such marriages, and society may make unfavorable presumptions about the couple and their children if they are involved in a series of marriages. The methodology uses normative legal research methods. Normative legal research or library research uses qualitative analysis, namely by explaining existing data with words or statements not with numbers. In the decision of Case No. 1874 K/Pdt/2013, the case examining judge who clearly contradicts the provisions contrary to the provisions of applicable legislation including citizenship laws concerning human rights, and the second principle of Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution that the siri marriage between the applicant and the respondent KASASII has been applied for Istibat Nikah at the Sleman Religious Court with Case Number 32/Pdt.G/2012/PA.Smn, and in the case decision it is stated that the siri marriage is valid according to Islamic law and legislation.

Abstract

In carrying out capital market activities, all parties in a public offering are obliged to fulfill and pay attention to the principle of transparency. There was a violation in the capital market that was committed by PT Perusahaan Gas Negara. This can be seen from the 23.36 percent drop in PNG's share price on the JSE from Rp. 9,650 on 11 January 2006 to Rp. 7,400 per share on January 12, 2007. The Capital Market and Financial Institution Supervisory Agency (Bapepam-LK) imposed administrative sanctions in the form of fines against 9 employees and former PT. PGN is involved in the insider trading case.

Abstract

Along with the rapid development of technology, it also has a significant impact on all aspects of human life. Including changes in the payment system in Indonesia, which previously only used cash as a legal means of payment, but now everyone can easily make payments to anyone using non-cash payments. As we know, people are more interested in fast, effective and efficient payments. Of course, payment using a giro is one of them. As is well known, a giro is an order for transfer from the withdrawal's current account to the recipient's current account, so payments cannot be made in cash. The main problem that is the focus is the demand deposit slip which cannot be transferred to a third party, because the demand deposit slip does not contain a clause related to how it is transferred.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how participative leadership improves the performance of teachers in MI Azzainiyyah and how school leaders can make decisions when teachers need to achieve quality education in schools. This study uses a qualitative approach, naturalistic techniques and triangulation. Data recovery through observation, interview and documentation, and fieldwork. In this study, researchers discussed the work of teachers. Effectiveness is therefore determined based on the evaluation and reflection of the inspector's work according to the school's goals. The results of this study show that participatory management can improve the performance of teachers, including the creation of good lesson plans with pre-primary activities, main activities and closing activities

Abstract

This article is based on the fact that almost all over the world there are still unequal relationships and attitudes towards women and men. The director of SMA Cokroaminoto Sukaresmi (Cianjur Regency) pointed out that women can also be school principals or head wardens. The aims of this study are: 1. To describe the principal's management strategy in applying management style to improve the quality of education at Cokroaminoto Sukaresme High School. 2. At Cokroaminoto Sukaresme High School there was talk about a female principal management strategy that would enable teachers to improve the quality of teaching. Sukaresmi District, Cianjur Administrative District. 3. Cokroaminoto Sukaresmi High School, describes the factors that encourage and hinder the effectiveness of the leadership role of women as school principals in improving the quality of learning. Sukaresmi District, Cianjur Administrative District. This research method was applied with a descriptive qualitative approach, and the researcher used a purposive sampling method to determine the research topic. Methods of data collection in the form of observation, interviews and documentation using data sources from school principals, vice principals, teachers and students. Data analysis for this study consisted of data reduction, presentation and validation. Sources and techniques of triangulation The validity of the data using triangulation. The survey results are as follows. 1. The management style adopted by the director is transformational management. 2. Teacher approval by the school principal to improve teaching quality, namely a) participation in training b. Teacher awards are given by the school owner. 3. The factors that support school management to improve the quality of teaching are formal and informal organizations, mutual cooperation and kinship and the quality of teaching declared by the government. Facilities and infrastructure impede the quality of education for school principals, but graduates are less competitive.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of democratic leadership style on performance at KKM MTs Sukaumi City. The variables used in this study were Democratic Leadership Style as the dependent variable and the performance variable of the MTs KKM Members as the independent variable, while data collection techniques used observation and field studies in this study, the researcher interacted directly with all members of the MTs KKM Sukabumi City. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence between democratic leadership style on the performance of KKM MTs Sukabumi members. Researchers get information and facts, that the attitude of the KKM MTs Sukabumi City leaders is democratic, harmonious communication is established between the chairman and its members, the chairman always provides joint performance motivation for its members.
