Abstract

This study aims to formulate a conceptual design for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in senior high schools based on the Deep Learning (DL) approach. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilising library research and conceptual analysis methods. The primary source of this study is the academic manuscript "Deep Learning Towards Quality Education for All," published by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, along with other relevant scholarly literature. Data were analysed by identifying, examining, and synthesising key concepts, which were then contextualised within the design of PAI learning at the senior high school level. The findings indicate that the design of PAI learning based on the DL approach can be structured around four main frameworks: (1) the eight dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile; (2) the principles of meaningful, mindful, and joyful learning; (3) stages of learning experiences, including understanding, applying, and reflecting; and (4) the learning environment, which encompasses pedagogical practices, collaboration, digital technology, and cultural ecosystems.

Abstract

Knowledge drives societal progress, including the development of moral values, ethics, and civilization. Islam places great importance on the pursuit of knowledge, as reflected in various sayings (hadith) of Prophet Muhammad SAW. Islam encourages its followers to seek knowledge and elevates those who possess it, both in religious and social life. This paper discusses several hadiths related to knowledge. Knowledge is a key means to draw closer to Allah and improve human life. This research employs a library research approach to analyze the messages contained in these hadiths, using primary sources such as authentic hadith books and secondary sources from various scholarly articles. The primary focus is to illustrate the strategic role of knowledge in Islamic teachings in building a progressive Muslim society. The study's findings highlight that these hadiths emphasize knowledge as a fundamental foundation for building quality individuals and communities. The hadiths on knowledge also inspire the younger generation to continuously learn and adapt to the changing times.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate how effective moral guidance is given to troubled adolescents at the Center for Social Protection and Rehabilitation of Adolescents (BPRSR) Yogyakarta. This study uses a field study method with a qualitative descriptive approach. Informants were selected purposively and consisted of heads of institutions, social workers, psychologists, and counselors who all have direct experience in the process of social rehabilitation of adolescents. Data collection was carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used the triangulation method and was analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the study showed that the moral guidance program at BPRSR had a positive impact on adolescents in several main aspects, namely: changes in behavior towards a more positive direction, increased self-awareness and discipline, and internalization of moral values ​​such as responsibility, honesty, and empathy. This guidance process is carried out through religious activities, individual and group counseling, skills training, and a holistic psychosocial approach. However, challenges are still found, especially in terms of the lack of support from families which causes some adolescents to experience difficulties when returning to their original environment. Therefore, this study emphasizes the importance of stronger synergy between institutions, families, and communities to ensure the sustainability of the moral rehabilitation process more effectively and sustainably.

Abstract

First language acquisition is the process by which someone acquires their first language. Acquisition refers to linguistic ability in a natural, unconscious manner and focusing on linguistic forms. Children aged 0-5 years begin to use language and require assistance and stimulation from parents and their surroundings to help develop their language skills. The purpose of this research is to describe first language acquisition in children in developing linguistic abilities in morphology and syntax within the context of simultaneous bilingual first language acquisition (Bilingual FLA) of Indonesian (B1) and Gayo (B2). The type of this research is descriptive qualitative. The data sources in this research are 2 (two) children aged 2 to 3 years. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and documentation. The research results can be classified into a) Morphological development in 2-year-old children; b) Syntactic development in 2-year-old children; c) Morphological development in 3-year-old children; d) Syntactic development in 3-year-old children. The development of these abilities is marked by an increase in vocabulary, the ability to form simple sentences, and the mastery of several language functions in children aged 2 and 3 years.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using sign language in the learning process of reciting the Quran for deaf students, by taking a case study at the Al-Adzom Grand Mosque. Deaf students, as children with special needs, face limitations in hearing, but still show high enthusiasm and motivation in studying the Quran. In this context, sign language becomes an alternative communication medium that allows them to understand the learning material more optimally. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods in the form of in-depth interviews with Quran teachers and student caregivers, as well as literature studies that support theoretical understanding. The data were analyzed descriptively to describe how the application of sign language affects the ability of deaf students to read and understand the verses of the Quran. The results of the study showed that the use of sign language was proven to be effective and had a positive impact on the development of the students' Quran reading skills. This finding confirms that physical limitations are not the main barrier in the process of religious education, as long as the methods applied are able to accommodate the special needs of students. Therefore, it is important for Islamic educational institutions to develop an inclusive and adaptive approach for students with disabilities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of public speaking skills on students’ self-confidence in academic and professional contexts. The research questions include the role of public speaking, factors affecting self-confidence, and strategies for its improvement. The method used is qualitative with a literature review (library research) approach, examining various relevant academic sources published within the last ten years. This study is based on Bandura’s (1997) self-efficacy theory and Robbins and Judge’s (2017) concept of soft skills as the main theoretical foundations. Data were analyzed qualitatively using descriptive content analysis techniques, and data validity was ensured through source triangulation. The findings indicate that public speaking skills significantly enhance students’ self-confidence in various situations such as presentations, discussions, and job interviews. Therefore, training and development of these skills need to be strengthened within academic and professional environments.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between parental support and learning motivation of fourth grade students at SDN 2 Ketol. The background of this study is based on the importance of parental participation in the support or learning process of children, especially in shaping children's positive attitudes and enthusiasm for learning. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with a correlational approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires distributed to fourth grade students as well as documentation and supporting interviews. The results showed that there is a significant relationship between parental support and student learning motivation. This finding shows that the active involvement of parents in children's education is very important in increasing children's motivation and learning achievement in elementary school.Hypothesis testing is the final stage in this study. The test was carried out using the F test, which aims to determine whether there is an influence of the independent variable (X) on the dependent variable (Y). If the value obtained is more than 0.40, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between variable X and variable Y. Conversely, if the value is less than 0.40, then there is no relationship between the two variables.

Abstract

Public Speaking is an oral communication skill that includes verbal, vocal, and visual (3V) aspects. The purpose of writing this article in general is to provide an overview and inform, provide inspiration and benefits for readers. This article can also be used to educate readers about the importance of public speaking. Public speaking includes preparation, conveying messages clearly, maintaining non-verbal communication, and overcoming anxiety and nervousness. The research method used is the library research method, which is a literature method that refers to books, articles, and journals. The results of this study show that social media is not only a communication tool, but also plays a role as a dynamic learning medium, especially in building public speaking skills. It can be concluded that learning public speaking in the era of social media requires an adaptive strategy to technological developments and the characteristics of the digital generation.

Abstract

This research is a theoretical review that aims to examine the role of faith education in the family as a strategy to prevent Internet Gaming Disorder (IGD) in children. IGD is an addictive behavioural disorder that increasingly threatens children's psychosocial development in the digital era. Belief education in Islam is believed to be able to form the foundation of children's faith and self-control, which theoretically can prevent the tendency of addictive behaviour towards online games. Through a literature review approach, this paper analyses the relationship between the concept of faith, family structure, and IGD symptoms based on the scientific literature of the last five years. The results show that the internalisation of the value of tawhid, strengthening spiritual awareness, and exemplary parents in guiding children religiously contribute to the formation of healthy digital behaviour. Thus, belief education can be used as a holistic preventive model in the context of mental and moral development of Muslim children against the risk of IGD.
