Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan ditemukannya permasalahan terkait kualitas produk dan likasi terhadap minat beli ulang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan bertujuan guna mendapat informasi dan mendeskripsikan pengaruh dari kualitas produk dan lokasi pada minat pembelin ulang pada Foursides Coffee padang. Penelitian kuantitatif adalah metodologi yang dipakai pada penelitian ini. Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan sumber yang sifatnya primer. Pelanggan Foursides Coffee Padang adalah populasi yang dipakai dalam penelitian. Sampel diambil dengan total 94 pelanggan, yang diraih melalui cara pengambilan sampel non-probability sampling. Kuesioner yang dibuat dengan skala likert dan telah terverifikasi kevalidan dan reliabilitas dimanfaatkan menjadi peralatan untuk mendapat data. SPSS 25.00 dipakai pada pengolahan data penelitian. Hasil yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini yakni kualitas produk diraih dalam kategori cukup dengan nilai 3,40, selanjutnya variabel lokasi termasuk kategori cukup dengan nilai 3,40, dan variabel minat beli ulang dikelompokkan dalam kategori cukup dengan nilai sebesar 3,40. Pengaruh kualitas produk dan lokasi pada melakukan pembelian kembali dengan adjusted R Square 26,7% dan 73,3% mendapatkan pengaruh dari faktor lain.   Kata Kunci : kualitas produk, lokasi, minat beli ulang

Abstract

Handling Guest Requests by the Guest Service Center in the Front Office Department at Sheraton Mustika Yogyakarta Resort & Spa.In the era of globalization and rapid growth in the tourism industry, hotel service has become a crucial aspect in ensuring customer satisfaction. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the dynamics of the hospitality industry, and as recovery progresses, it is important for hotels to enhance the quality of their services to attract customers back. Sheraton Mustika Yogyakarta Resort & Spa, with its unique architecture and luxurious facilities, has seen an increase in occupancy post-pandemic, especially during high seasons like religious celebrations and major holidays. The task of ensuring customer satisfaction is handled by the Guest Service Center, and it is not an easy task. This department serves as the hub for all guest information and requests, acting as the front line in direct contact with hotel guests. Every agent in the Guest Service Center must possess skills such as proper speaking etiquette, telephone etiquette, quick response, and diplomatic actions to achieve a good image, ensuring that guests are satisfied with the service provided. The purpose of this research is to analyze the request handling process, identify the challenges, and find the solutions implemented by the Guest Service Center at Sheraton Mustika Yogyakarta Resort & Spa. The results of this research are expected to be used to improve service quality and has been assisted with a good customer complaint handling system.

Abstract

Sanur is a very beautiful beach tourist area in the city of Denpasar. Apart from the beautiful panoramic views of the beach, Sanur is also famous for its spring roll snacks. This snack is a culinary specialty when visiting Sanur Beach. As time goes by, the existence of spring roll snacks, especially on Sanur Beach, is increasingly being rivaled by modern snacks. Previously, spring rolls were very popular, but with the existence of this modern snack, spring rolls are now rarely popular except on weekends. The data collection techniques used in this research were observation, in-depth interviews and literature study. Observations were carried out at Sanur Beach (Segara Beach, Sindu Beach, Karang Beach, and Mertasari Beach). Interviews were carried out using snowball sampling. Literature study in the form of previous research that is still relevant to this research, theoretical basis and concepts obtained from books, journals and articles that are still relevant to this research. The existence of spring roll snacks is currently experiencing a decline in interest, this is due to the large number of traders selling modern snacks and other traditional foods on Sanur Beach. The modern snacks such as burgers, fries, kebabs, hot dogs and other types of modern food. Currently, spring roll traders mostly sell outside Sanur Beach, they only sell on weekends, on other days they sell in the Puputan field, Renon field and even sell around to people's homes.

Abstract

This study's motivation stems from the insecurity and safety supervision that causes the risk of danger to visitors near the summit of Pasaman Regency's lengthy koto. This study aimed to examine risk management at the Long Koto tourist attraction's highest point. Qualitative data collected through documentation, interviewing, and observation methods are used in this study. According to the findings, there was virtually little risk at Puncak Koto Panjang.The level of security and safety has a value of 6 with a very low risk level category, the mitigation carried out accepts the risk that is tolerated. Facilities at the top of the long koto require improvement, the severity and opportunity level of risk has a value of 3 with a very low risk level category, the mitigation carried out is to reduce the risk by conducting routine evaluations. The source of danger at the top of Koto Panjang is the danger of vegetation and the danger of the ravine which has a severity level and a risk opportunity level of 10 with a low risk level category, the mitigation carried out accepts the risks that occur.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the discovery of problems related to facilities to guest satisfaction. The research aims to obtain information and describe the influence of facilities on knowledge satisfaction at Legen Villa Lubuk Minturun. The method used in this study is quantitative. Using primary data and secondary data. Guests who have stayed and who are staying are the population of this study. The sample used in this study amounted to 85 guests with a non-probability sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by using a questionnaire based on a likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. The tool used for data processing is SPSS 25. The results obtained from the study were that the facility variable was classified as sufficient based on statistical calculations with an average respondent achievement rate (TCR) of 72% and guest satisfaction was classified as a good category based on statistical calculations with an average respondent achievement rate (TCR) of 79.35%. In this study, the Beta or Satandardized Coefficient value of the facility variable (X) was 0.408 with a Thical value (3.225) with a significance of 0.002 < 0.05, which showed that the facility variable had a positive influence on guest satisfaction (Y). The Adjusted R Square value was 0.334, which showed the contribution of the influence of the facility variable by 33.4%, and the remaining 66.6% was influenced by other variables that were not studied

Abstract

This research is motivated by educational tourism which has the potential to generate income for Padang State University. This can be seen from the number of visitors who come to Padang State University. The purpose of this research is to analyze the development of educational tourism potential at Padang State University. This research uses a qualitative approach and descriptive method with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Key informants in the research are informants from UNP Public Relations & Protocol, 2 visitors who visit UNP, 2 managers of hotel tour & travel business units and 2 UNP students. These informants can be questions related to opportunities for developing educational tourism at UNP. Data analysis techniques by grouping the data that has been obtained for processing, conducting a SWOT analysis, entering it into a SWOT matrix, and analyzing strategies from the SWOT matrix. The results of the study show an analysis of the development of educational tourism potential at Padang State University, namely by accepting criticism and suggestions from informants regarding the Potential for sustainable value, Potential for awards/certificates, Potential for enriching knowledge, and Potential for adventure.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the relationship between restaurant atmosphere and repurchase intention. It employs a quantitative descriptive approach using purposive non-probability sampling, with a sample of 80 respondents. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed via Google Form, utilizing a Likert scale to assess the impact of restaurant atmosphere on repurchase intention at Situ Party, Padang City. The questionnaire has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS version 20.00. The average value of 4.24 for the restaurant atmosphere variable in the excellent category and 4.15 for the repurchase intention variable, shows that the research findings place these variables in the good category. The restaurant atmosphere variable has a considerable impact on repurchase intention, as indicated by the estimated F value of 191.941 with Sig 0.000 < 0.05 from the restaurant atmosphere value (X). Additionally, the Adjusted R Square value of 0.711 was found, indicating that 71.1% of the influence on the repurchase intention variable (Y) came from the restaurant atmosphere variable (X), with the remaining 28.9% coming from other sources.

Abstract

The purpose of the research conducted is to find out how guest satisfaction following MICE activities at Pangeran Beach Hotel Padang is influenced by the quality of services and facilities offered. This analysis uses a causal associative approach with descriptive quantitative. Data collection is done through indirect communication by distributing questionnaires through Google Forms with a Likert scale to participants of MICE activities. Furthermore, the data were processed using the SPSS program. This research involved people who had participated in MICE activities at Pangeran Beach Hotel Padang from January to June 2024. The sample numbered 130 people, and all participants were at least 18 years old. This research shows that the quality of service including good level is 4.03, facilities in good category is 4.13, and guest satisfaction in good category is 4.15%. With a calculated F value of 129.962 and an R square of 0.672, it was found that variable X had a significant influence on variable Y of 67.2%. For the service variable, the quality of the regression coefficient is found to be 0.525 with the acquisition of 0.000-0.05, which means that each increase in service will increase guest satisfaction by 0.525 units of satisfaction. For the facility variable, a regression coefficient value of 0.561 was found with a gain of 0.0

Abstract

Tourism is an activity that stimulates the economy by creating jobs, where homestays act as accommodation that offers local experiences. The Saribu Rumah Gadang area in South Solok, West Sumatra, is a leading cultural tourism destination which is famous for its traditional Minang Kabau houses. Even though its popularity is increasing, challenges such as narrow road access, lack of standard facilities in homestays, and the lack of supporting facilities such as information boards, are obstacles that must be overcome to increase tourist attraction and comfort. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, where data is collected naturally without comparing or looking for relationships between variables. The research was carried out at the Saribu Rumah Gadang Homestay Area, South Solok, West Sumatra, in July-August 2024. Informants were selected using snowball sampling techniques, involving the Tourism Office, managers and homestay owners. This research reveals that the facilities at the Saribu Rumah Gadang Homestay area have several advantages and disadvantages. Access to homestays is generally adequate, although some homestays have narrow access and lack of signage. The majority of homestays have good air ventilation, but lighting varies. Bedrooms in homestays are equipped with clean bedding, although not all homestays provide wardrobes, room keys or dressing table facilities. The bathroom is generally attached to the homestay and has sufficient facilities, although some facilities such as towel rails and closed trash cans are still lacking. The kitchen and dining room in the homestay are generally clean and well maintained, while the living room is equipped with adequate tables and chairs. However, the availability of supporting facilities such as signage is still limited, because homestay owners consider it not very important.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi dari Generasi Z di Kota Padang terhadap monumen dan tugu bersejarah yang ada di Kota Padang. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi dari Generasi Z terhadap monumen dan tugu bersejarah di Kota Padang dapat ditinjau menggunakan teori persepsi dengan menggunakan tiga aspek yaitu 1) aspek kognitif, 2)aspek afektif dan 3)aspek konatif. Serta melakukan wawancara bersama Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Padang. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu :pada aspek afektif dan aspek kognitif terdapat variasi dalam tingkat pengetahuan, respon emosional, dan motivasi kunjungan Generasi Z di Kota Padang terhadap monumen dan tugu bersejarah. Mayoritas Generasi Z memiliki pengetahuan yang baik tentang Monumen Gempa Padang dan merasakan keterikatan emosional yang kuat. Namun terdapat kurangnya pengetahuan dan apresiasi terhadap tugu lainnya, seperti Tugu Jong Sumatranen Bond. Dalam aspek konatif, motivasi kunjungan mereka dipengaruhi oleh faktor rasa penasaran, keunikan desain, dan ketertarikan terhadap sejarah lokal, meskipun beberapa informan menunjukkan minat yang rendah karena kurangnya promosi dan kegiatan edukatif terkait sejarah. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pendekatan kreatif, seperti penggunaan media sosial dan pengembangan paket wisata khusus, untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan apresiasi Generasi Z terhadap warisan sejarah Kota Padang.
