Abstract

This study aims to analyze how halal lifestyle moderates the relationship between the influence of hotel attributes on the decision to stay at the Rangkayo Basa hotel. This study uses a quantitative method. Data collection by distributing questionnaires with a Likert scale to 314 respondents. The analysis method uses SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) with the help of Smart PLS 4.0 to analyze primary data to obtain research results. The results of the study indicate that hotel attributes have a significant positive effect on the decision to stay, halal lifestyle has a significant positive effect on the decision to stay, and halal lifestyle does not significantly moderate the relationship between the influence of hotel attributes on the decision to stay at the Rangkayo Basa Padang hotel.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a culturally-based tour package by highlighting the local wisdom of Penglipuran Tourism Village, Bali, particularly through workshop activities on making Penjor and Canang Sari. The method used is a mixed method approach that combines qualitative and quantitative techniques through observation, interviews, and the distribution of questionnaires to tourists. The results show that the majority of tourist are interested in authentic cultural experiences, are around 20 years old, and are predominantly female. Based on the identification of tourist attractions, tourism facilities, and other services, a 2-day, 1-night tour package was designed with the theme “Spirit of Bali: Learning the Meaning Behind Penjor and Canang Sari”. This tour package combines natural, cultural, and man-made attractions with a structured schedule, including cultural workshops and educational visits. The tour package the pricing is determined based on the number of participants, with cost calculations considering profitability. This initiative is expected to enhance tourism products while contributing to the local economy and cultural preservation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kolaboratif antara destinasi religi Musholla Baitul Mulk dan pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) seperti Toko Insyira dan Toko Roti Rina dalam mendukung penguatan pariwisata Kota Pekanbaru. Kolaborasi ini dipandang sebagai model pengembangan wisata berbasis komunitas yang mengintegrasikan nilai spiritual, budaya lokal, dan pemberdayaan ekonomi. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan metode observasi lapangan, wawancara mendalam, serta dokumentasi, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa sinergi antara destinasi religi dan UMKM menciptakan ekosistem wisata yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan. Musholla Baitul Mulk tampil sebagai magnet wisata religi dengan daya tarik unik berupa panorama bandara dan fasilitas ibadah modern, sedangkan UMKM sekitar menyediakan pengalaman kuliner serta oleh-oleh halal yang memperkuat daya tarik wisata. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi tantangan seperti minimnya promosi formal dan kurangnya kolaborasi dengan instansi pemerintah, serta peluang strategis berupa digitalisasi layanan, integrasi program wisata halal, dan pengembangan edukasi produk halal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi potensi wisata alam dan budaya di Nagari Pasilihan serta mengidentifikasitantangan yang dihadapi dalam pengembangannya. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatifmelalui survei menggunakan kuesioner kepada 50 responden yang merupakan penduduk lokal dengan berbagai latarbelakang usia dan profesi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Nagari Pasilihan memiliki potensi wisata alam yangberagam seperti sungai, air terjun, perbukitan, dan hutan wisata yang masih asri. Selain itu, terdapat kekayaan budayalokal berupa upacara adat, seni tradisional, dan situs sejarah seperti surau tua dan rumah adat yang masih terjaga.Masyarakat menilai wisata budaya memiliki peran penting dalam promosi identitas lokal. Namun, pengembanganpariwisata dihadapkan pada berbagai tantangan, seperti infrastruktur yang belum memadai, minimnya promosi, kurangnyadokumentasi budaya, dan rendahnya keterlibatan generasi muda. Rekomendasi dari masyarakat meliputi perbaikanfasilitas, promosi digital melalui media sosial, pelibatan pemuda, dan penyelenggaraan event budaya tahunan. Penelitianini menyimpulkan bahwa Nagari Pasilihan memiliki potensi besar sebagai destinasi wisata berbasis alam dan budayaapabila dikelola dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Malang City is one of the tourism cities in East Java that has various interesting destinations, both traditional, modern, and public open spaces. This study aims to compare tourist attractions from three locations with different characters but equally popular, namely Malang Square, Klojen Market, and Cafe CR Malang. The study was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method through direct observation, short interviews with visitors, and literature studies. The results of the study show that the three destinations have their own uniqueness that adapts to different visitor segments. Malang Square is a family-friendly open public space, Klojen Market emphasizes local economic and cultural aspects, while Cafe CR Malang presents a modern and aesthetic nuance that attracts the younger generation. This comparison shows the importance of the diversity of tourist destinations in the development of sustainable urban tourism.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and explain the diversity of local culinary delights that are used as brands and pillars of green tourism in Bonjeruk Tourism Village, Central Lombok Regency. The relationship between local culinary delights as brands of tourism villages and pillars of green tourism in Bonjeruk Tourism Village is like a coin with two sides. Local culinary delights in Bonjeruk Tourism Village utilize vegetables and spices grown in local fields and to meet the needs of culinary ingredients, replanting becomes a cycle of preservation that has a positive impact on the environment and also local economic growth. This study is a study that uses qualitative methods. Data collection was carried out using observation techniques, in-depth interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that there are a number of local culinary delights in Bonjeruk Tourism Village that are used as brands and pillars of green tourism. Local culinary delights include food and drinks that are used as brands and pillars of green tourism such as ayam merangkat, sate kuncung, olah-olah sayur, olah-olah daging, ares, serebuk, pelecing, jejeruk, bebetok, raon, ebatan, tum and jamu sherbet. The local cuisine of Bonjeruk Tourism Village is unique, evident in the use of ingredients and the cultural stories behind each type of local food and drink, distinguishing it from local cuisine from other villages or regions on Lombok Island. This uniqueness is the reason local cuisine is used as a tourist attraction and brand in Bonjeruk Tourism Village. Furthermore, the use of local cuisine as a village tourism brand has a positive impact on environmental conservation, marked by the replanting of various types of plants used as raw materials for local cuisine that are almost extinct. By being studied and re-popularized as a tourism village brand, local cuisine becomes a promotional tool for green tourism, which is expected to increase the number of tourist visits, improve the community's economy, and preserve the local environment.

Abstract

This research explores the role of legendary street food in strengthening the culinary destination image of Malang City. As both an educational and tourism city, Malang has a rich culinary culture shaped by students and visitors. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation with the owners of legendary food establishments. The findings reveal that traditional culinary businesses such as Toko Oen, Putu Lanang, Ronde Titoni, and others not only offer authentic flavors but also carry strong cultural and historical values. These culinary icons contribute to building the gastronomic identity and emotional attachment of visitors, shaping a memorable experience that enhances destination loyalty. The study concludes that mapping and promoting legendary culinary heritage is essential in supporting sustainable gastronomic tourism and effective city branding in Malang.

Abstract

Pura Langgar in Bangli, Bali, is a rare symbol of tolerance and cultural acculturation between Hindus and Muslims. Despite its potential, this site has not been optimally developed as a religious tourism destination that highlights diversity values. This study aims to examine strategies for developing religious tourism at Pura Langgar, based on interfaith tolerance, using a literature study and descriptive qualitative analysis. The findings indicate that the development of spiritual retreat packages, cross-cultural education, and tolerance-based learning, supported by local community homestays and collaboration with religious leaders as well as the Tourism Office, has the potential to strengthen the destination’s appeal. With synergy among all stakeholders, Pura Langgar can become a model for inclusive religious tourism in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis kesesuaian lokasi pos pemadam kebakaran dan sebaran hotel di Kota Surakarta untuk meningkatkan proteksi kebakaran di sektor perhotelan. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis spasial berbasis Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) dengan data 4 pos pemadam kebakaran dan 155 hotel. Analisis meliputi buffer analysis (radius 2,5 km, 3 km, 3,5 km), service area analysis (waktu tempuh 5 dan 10 menit), dan accessibility analysis. Hasil menunjukkan distribusi hotel tidak merata, terkonsentrasi di pusat kota. Meskipun cakupan radius 2,5 km terpenuhi (hanya 1 hotel pada jarak 2,5–3 km), waktu tanggap di pusat kota melebihi 10 menit karena hambatan infrastruktur dan kepadatan lalulintas. Area barat kota memiliki area yang tidak tercakup dengan luasan kurang dari 5%. Identifikasi gap mengungkap risiko terhadap sektor pariwisata, termasuk keselamatan wisatawan dan reputasi destinasi. Rekomendasi meliputi penambahan pos pemadam di pusat kota dan area barat, perbaikan akses jalan, serta sistem peringatan terintegrasi. Temuan ini menjadi dasar kebijakan tata kota yang responsif untuk mitigasi kebakaran.
