Abstract

Abstract The escalating ecological crisis, marked by deforestation, the reduction of green spaces, contamination of water resources, and global climate change, reflects the inadequacy of conservation approaches that have largely relied on formal regulations without sufficient support from the moral and spiritual consciousness of society. On the other hand, Islamic environmental discourse remains predominantly confined to the level of individual ethics and has not extensively addressed ecological spatial governance as a structural instrument of conservation. This study aims to analyze the concepts of ḥimā and ḥarīm in the Prophet’s hadith as normative foundations for green space conservation, reconstruct ecological authority within the Prophetic tradition, and explain their relevance in the context of contemporary environmental management. This research employs a qualitative library-based method (library research) with a thematic hadith (mawḍū‘ī) approach. Primary data were obtained from the major hadith collections and classical fiqh literature, while secondary data were drawn from scholarly articles and studies on Islamic ecotheology. The analysis includes the interpretation of hadith meanings (ma‘ānī al-ḥadīth) and ecological contextualization. The findings reveal that the concept of ḥimā functions as a conservation mechanism based on public authority to protect the sustainability of natural resources, while ḥarīm serves as a protective zone for vital resources, particularly water, from activities that may disrupt ecological balance. These findings affirm that the Prophet’s hadith not only embodies environmental ethics but also provides a systematic, preventive, and relevant model of conservation governance for strengthening environmental policies based on Islamic values in the modern era. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the comparison of the tahlily interpretation method and the muqaran interpretation method. This research uses a qualitative approach and a literature review method. Analytical methods or tahlily methods, namely, interpreting qur'anic verses by explaining all aspects contained in the interpreted verses and explaining the meanings included in them in accordance with the expertise and tendency of mufasir who interpret the verses. While Muqaran interpretation is one of the interpretive methods that use comparison techniques in revealing or explaining qur'anic verses, so that the main targets in this cashede are verses that seemto have similar redactions, which speak of the same case or two different cases , the second target is a verse that appears to contradict the hadith of the Prophet (peace be upon him) by birth, and the last is to compare the views of the scholars of the interpretation of the verse they interpreted.

Abstract

The global transformation in 21st-century education is characterized by digital disruption, epistemological competition, and a crisis of academic ethics. Amidst these conditions, the Qur'an exists not only as a religious text but also as a paradigm of values and epistemology that guides humans in the process of seeking knowledge. This article aims to reinterpret Qur'anic principles related to education, research ethics, and social responsibility by placing them in the context of global education. The approach used is a qualitative maudhu'i approach, which attempts to thematically explore Qur'anic verses related to the above themes. Then, an intertextual excavation is carried out to find interconnected meanings through literature analysis, and finally, conclusions are drawn through verification. The results of the study indicate that Qur'anic values such as scientific trustworthiness, academic honesty, openness to cross-cultural knowledge, and the integration of science and spirituality constitute a normative framework capable of guiding global education towards a just and civilized civilization. The Qur'anic-transformative education model is proposed as a solution to restore the orientation of education to a balance between technological innovation and humanitarian values.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the infiltration of the ma’tsur sources, namely the hadiths about the virtues of the surahs of the Qur'an. Imam as-Suyūṭī in Tadrib ar-Rawi said that the hadiths concerning the virtues of the surahs of the Qur'an are mostly weak, only a few surahs are considered to be based on authentic hadiths, but in reality, other authentic or hasan hadiths were found in several other surahs, which he mentioned among others in the book al-Itqan fi 'Ulum Alqur’an. This study is a qualitative library research that is analyzed using content analysis techniques related to the infiltration of the hadiths about the virtues of the surahs of the Qur'an according to Imam as-Suyūṭī in his works al-Itqan fi 'Ulum Alqur’an and Tafsir ad-Dur al-Mantsur. While the secondary data sources of this study are books, articles, literature, journals and internet sites that are relevant to the research being conducted. The findings of this study are that some of the virtues of the surah mentioned have hadiths about its virtues with authentic and hasan hadiths, such as the virtues of Q.S. Hud, Q.S. al-'Ala, al-Bayyinah, as-Sajdah al-Mufashshal and others. However, there are also several hadiths of the virtues of surahs that are considered mawdhu and many are dha'if such as the virtues of surah al-Rahman, al-Isra' al-Musabbahat.

Abstract

The massive integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into Islamic education and Quranic studies has triggered an epistemic crisis in the form of the degradation of intellectual authority and the erosion of spiritual values. This research aims to formulate a framework for Quranic thinking ethics in the AI era through a thematic analysis of Surah Al-Isrā’ verse 36 from the perspectives of Fakhruddin al-Rāzī and Quraish Shihab. This qualitative study employs a library research method with a comparative-hermeneutical approach. The primary sources used are Mafātīḥ al-Ghayb (Volume 20) and Tafsīr al-Mishbāh (Volume 7), supported by secondary data from contemporary journals on AI and Islamic ethics. The results indicate that al-Rāzī emphasizes the moral-rational dimensions of epistemic tools (hearing, sight, and the heart) as a divine trust (amanah), while Quraish Shihab focuses on social-intellectual responsibility in navigating the modern flow of information. The synthesis of these two perspectives produces the concept of "Quranic Thinking Ethics," which demands epistemic accountability (al-mas’ūliyyah al-‘ilmiyyah). This framework asserts that AI must be positioned as a tool under human control to preserve the sanctity of revelation and the authenticity of knowledge from the risks of algorithmic reductionism and academic dependency
