Abstract

Roasting is a form of communication that involves ridiculing, ridiculing, or humorously making fun of someone or something with the aim of entertaining or producing a funny reaction. In the context of roasting, participants use sharp expressions, sarcasm, or excessive comparisons to make the interlocutor or target laugh. Roasting is often done with the aim of entertaining and strengthening social bonds, but it can also have the potential to hurt other people's feelings if it is not done wisely or crosses appropriate boundaries. This is what the author wants to study regarding roasting when viewed from the perspective of Islamic communication ethics. The method used is descriptive qualitative research type with library research. Data was obtained from books, journals, articles related to roasting and Islamic communication ethics. From the studies that have been carried out, the results show that from the perspective of Islamic communication ethics, roasting is not recommended. Islam teaches mutual respect and respect for each other, including in communicating between individuals, which includes communication ethics using good and polite language and speech.

Abstract

This research was conducted to look at the history of printing the Al-Qur'an. Apart from being a source of civilization, efforts to study the history of the printing of the Koran continue to be carried out, because the Al-Quran is a book that is continuously read and guided by all Muslims. This research uses literature review by examining various references related to the history of printing the Al-Quran from the time of the Prophet to the present. The benefit of this research is that it provides readers with an understanding of the history of Al-Qur'an printing and its problems. The results of this research show that the printing of the Al-Quran in Indonesia often occurs in terms of writing, finishing techniques, publication ethics, lack of standard references and inappropriate use of Al-Quran paper waste among the public. The background to the causes of these errors is generally due to a lack of regulation from the government which has a deterrent effect on publishers and printers, as well as a lack of government outreach regarding the publication and printing of the Al-Quran and a lack of waste management according to procedures.

Abstract

The TikTok application is loved by young Indonesians, especially in Aceh. Various content is presented in the TikTok application, thus making users interested and immersed in the content presented by content creators. This study aims to determine the motivation of the Acehnese people in using the TikTok application. In addition, this research also aims to see the positive and negative impacts received by TikTok application users. To get answers to these two objectives, researchers used qualitative methods. The data collection techniques were carried out by observing and interviewing informants aged 20-40 years. The results showed that the people of Aceh were motivated to use the TikTok application for reasons due to the community's need to interact with the wider community as a form of self-actualisation in cyberspace, the TikTok application as a place to store one's memorable moments in the form of photos and videos, and other motivations are to express themselves through TikTok media. While the impact obtained from using the TikTok application, there are positive and negative impacts on its users. These positive and negative impacts occur due to the way application users use and utilise this social media.

Abstract

Many teenagers access pornography without any education about sexual behavior. Minimal understanding of sex and easy access to pornography encourage teenagers to try new experiences. The case of early marriage in Blangkejeren District, Gayo Luwees Regency is very worrying. The purpose of this research was to find out what aspects of communication technology can influence the occurrence of early marriage and the impact of communication technology on early marriage. The method used in this research is qualitative. This research uses a phenomenological approach, namely seeing and hearing phenomena that occur naturally more closely and in detail. Data was obtained by observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that social media with pornographic content is an aspect of communication technology that can have a negative impact, influencing teenagers' thought patterns and behavior which can lead to early marriage

Abstract

Everyone needs a variety information in their life, so they upload various content through social media. However, not all information presented in the media contains elements of truth. Hoax is still a serious problem that can harm media users get caught up. This research aims to identify several characteristics of fake news spread on social media so that people can avoid various cybercrimes. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach by collecting a number of sources both through journals and social media that contain of hoax in order to obtain data. The Theory of Media Setting is used as a guide for analyzing the content. The research results show that there are still many Indonesian people who do not have adequate knowledge in identifying the characteristics of fake news on social media, especially lower middle class people who are not able to filter information so they are still often trapped in the media settings. In the other side, the people, especially middle and upper educated groups, are able to differentiate between true and fake news.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the function of Islamic communication from the perspective of the Qur'an. The functions discussed here are the informing function and the socialization function. The functions discussed are directed at how to make these functions function as they should. In other words, these functions are not only discussed at a normative level, but also more importantly at an applied level. This discussion involves various critical studies of several related interpretations which are linked to the efforts to function of the Islamic communication function being discussed. From this study, it was found that the information function only works if all components in the information cycle are actually carried out as they should. The function of socialization will only truly function if the factors that influence a person's interest in socializing with other people are implemented properly in accordance with the guidance of Islamic religious teachings.

Abstract

This research explores the urgency of Islamic political education through social media in shaping citizens' understanding of Islamic values. The research approach uses qualitative methods and content analysis by taking data from interviews and social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Instagram and YouTube. Through a qualitative approach, this research answers key questions related to the urgency of Islamic political education, the impact of social media, and citizen participation in the presidential election process. The Humanistic Theory of Political Education is the basis for understanding how Islamic political education can shape citizen understanding and participation. The research results show that social media is an effective channel for spreading Islamic political education. Islamic political education through social media has a strategic role in shaping citizens' understanding and participation in the presidential election. The implications of this research can be used to improve the quality of Islamic political education and utilize social media as an effective tool for spreading Islamic values ​​in the political realm.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam tulisan ini adalah Pemanfaatan Media Online terhadap pengembangan usaha masyarakat yang sudah berjalan lancar serta bermanfaat bagi masyarakat di Kecamatan Kota Bahagia Aceh. Memanfaatkan Media Online sebagai sarana penjualan terhadap pengembangan usaha masyarakat sangat membantu para penjual online di Kota Bahagia di karenakan dengan menggunakan Media Online, para penjual online dapat memasarkan usahanya tanpa batas sehingga dengan demikian penjual online dapat menarik pelanggan lebih banyak. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui seberapa jauh manfaat yang di timbulkan oleh Media Online terhadap usaha massyarakat di Kecamatan Kota Bahagia. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut penulis menggunakan jenis penelitian field research dengan metode penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriftif, teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan cara obseravasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan teknik analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pemanfaatan Media Online sebagai sarana penjualan sangat membantu penjual online di Kecamatan Kota Bahagia Aceh Selatan dalam memasarkan dagangannya. Dengan menggunakan Media Online para penjual online di Kecamatan Kota Bahagia dapat pencangkup area wilayah yang sangat luas sehingga dengan demikian penjualan tersebut dapat menjangkau konstumer lebih banyak sehingga menjadikan penjualan secara online sangat efektif untuk dilakukan.

Abstract

The development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has been pivotal in realizing the concept of Smart Village in Aceh. Smart Village is a development strategy aimed at improving the quality of life in rural communities through the integration of technology to accelerate economic development, enhance public service efficiency, and promote environmental sustainability. Development communication plays a central role in this process, acting as a link between government, communities, and the private sector in implementing innovative solutions. Through collaborative approaches involving government, academia, and industry, and utilizing participatory methods that engage local communities, development communication can raise awareness, enhance skills, and facilitate technology adoption at the village level. However, efforts to achieve Smart Village in Aceh are not without challenges. These challenges include uneven ICT infrastructure, community readiness to adopt new technologies, and cultural differences that can affect program sustainability. By strengthening collaboration among stakeholders and implementing inclusive and sustainable communication strategies, the role of development communication will continue to be crucial in achieving sustainable and equitable Smart Village goals in Aceh.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul peranan jurnalis Islam di Era Globalisasi (Analisis Terhadap Kiprah Wartawan pada Tabloid Gema Baiturrahman Kota Banda Aceh). Adapun penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kiprah wartawan muslim pada Tabloid Gema Baiturrahman dalam memposisikan dirinya sebagai da’I dalam dunia pers. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian menyebutkan bahwa kiprah Jurnalis muslim pada Tabloid Gema Baiturrahman sudah memenuhi sebagai Muaddib (Pendidik), Musaddid (meluruskan Informasi), Mujaddin (Pembaharuan), Muwahhid (juru bicara umat) dan Mujahid (Pejuang islam). Selain itu, Tabloid Gema Baiturrahman juga telah berbasis online sehingga bisa diakses oleh seluruh pengguna internet. Kata kunci : Era Globalisasi, Jurnalis, Gema Baiturrahman
