A suitable habitat will support biodiversity. Knowledge of habitat suitability is essential to understanding the extent of interaction between living organisms and their environment. This study aims to analyze the determination and use of types of environmental parameters in determining the suitability of bird habitat in an area. The type of research in this study is qualitative research sourced from literature studies using the Content Analysis method. The data used in this research is secondary data sourced from reading relevant literature in scientific journal articles. The results of this study found that the most influential parameters in determining bird habitat suitability are altitude, slope, vegetation density (NDVI), and distance from water sources. This is related to the comfort and safety of birds from predators, changes in environmental conditions, and poaching that threaten the extinction of the species.

Green Open Space is one of the solutions to the problem of discomfort and thermal control in microclimate, especially in urban areas such as Kendari city. This study aims to determine the effect of green open space on microclimate conditions in Kendari city. This type of research is qualitative research with literature study through reviewing related literature. Then, the analysis of several journals and books related to the discussion material will be described descriptively. Walikota Kendari Park has a wind speed of 0.59 m/s, a temperature of 33.58oC, and an air humidity of 49.77%Rh. The annual average of Kendari city is in the range of 6.8 m/s, 32.67oC, and 93.5%Rh. The existence of green spaces still has little impact on the microclimate of Kendari City green spaces. So, it is necessary to optimize the minimum target of green open space in Kendari city.

Education is a necessity in human life. This process continues throughout life and is achieved through three ways: formal education, non-formal education, and non-informal education. The social status of parents (income level) is very important for children’s education. A family with a good income level not only fulfills daily needs such as meeting children's educational needs but of course also influences the development of attention to daily needs, including the education needs of their children. This study aims to find out the impact of parents' income rates on children's education. The research method used is a library survey. The results of this study show that parents' income rates influence their children's education. Several other factors influence, such as parents' educational levels, children's abilities, and other external factors. However, the results of this study show that the influence of parents' income rates on children's education dominates.

River watersheds have an important function for water absorption for human life. The Pemudang sub-watershed is a national priority because its condition is increasingly critical due to land degradation. This research aims to carry out spatial modeling of land cover changes in 2031 in the Uangng Sub-watershed which will be compared with the 2011-2031 Regional Spatial Plan scenario. The method used uses the Cellular Automata-Markov Chain method. Based on predictions of land cover in 2031, agricultural areas dominate in the Uangng Sub-watershed covering an area of 14,783.4 ha (37.5%). Agricultural area according to the model in 2031 is estimated to increase by 97.5 ha. The difference between the 2031 model area and the region spatial plan is 5,168.9 ha, which means that the region spatial plan settlements are not expected to be able to accommodate future settlements. The forest area in the 2031 model is 12,351.6 ha, while in the region spatial plan it is 12,300.3 ha with an area difference of 51.2 ha. This shows that controlling the use of space in forests is not in accordance with the policies in the region spatial plan.

Sukamakmur District is one of the areas in Bogor Regency where disasters often occur related to critical land conditions. This situation is often associated with changes in land cover as population growth continues. This research aims to identify and map critical land using a geographic information system (GIS) in Sukamakmur District. The method used is tumpeng stacking analysis with classification, scoring and weighting. There are 4 classes of critical land in Sukamakmur District, the largest percentage of low potentially critical land is 14,008 ha (82.32%). Then followed by slightly critical land with an area of 2,777.5 ha (16.32%), critical land with an area of 215.5 ha (1.27%), and very critical land with an area of only 16 ha (0.09%) of total area. This indicates that critical land for protected forests in Sukamakmur District is still relatively low.

Dompet Dhuafa is a philanthropic institution sourced from funds from zakat, infaq, alms, and waqf as well as other halal funds aimed at empowering the poor through humanitarian activities and social entrepreneurship. Dompet Dhuafa takes part in community empowerment through activities aimed at reducing poverty in East Java by the second goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The data collection used in this study is a literature study based on available references. Dompet Dhuafa has various programs that can be implemented in East Java, namely the Poor Community Empowerment Program by providing training to improve skills. This program is also in line with the RPJPD, RPJMD, and RTRW of East Java Province. However, the dependence of recipients on assistance makes the community not independent. In addition, there is a thought from the recipient that the business capital lent by Dompet Dhuafa is not obligatory to be returned so the recommendations that can be given are that the recipient is expected to be more enthusiastic and participative.
