Abstract

This study employs a qualitative library research method with the primary objective of analyzing the effectiveness of development administration in the management of regional budgets to support local economic development. Development administration is a crucial component in the governance process, encompassing the planning, organizing, directing, and supervising of budget utilization to ensure that resources are allocated in a targeted, efficient, and sustainable manner. Within the context of local governments, the effectiveness of budget management is considered a key indicator of the success of regional development, as it directly reflects the ability of local authorities to implement policies that foster equitable and inclusive growth. The data for this study were obtained from various scientific literature sources, including academic journals, textbooks, and relevant government policy documents addressing budgeting and regional development. The findings of the analysis highlight that successful budget management is strongly influenced by bureaucratic capacity, particularly in terms of administrative competence, professional integrity, and institutional stability. Furthermore, transparency in budget planning processes plays a significant role in building public trust and preventing misallocation of resources. Equally important is the participation of the community in monitoring and evaluating budget implementation, which ensures accountability and responsiveness to public needs. In addition, synergy between legislative and executive bodies is identified as a determining factor in strengthening checks and balances, thereby enhancing the accountability of public fund management. The study concludes that effective development administration not only supports efficient allocation of financial resources but also contributes to accelerating local economic growth, reducing social inequality, and improving community welfare. Ultimately, this research is expected to provide valuable insights and serve as a reference for local governments in formulating strategies for more optimal, transparent, and participatory budget management practices

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of workload, organizational culture, and work discipline on employee productivity at UD. Berkah Andita Mandiri II. In today’s competitive business environment, employee productivity is considered a crucial determinant of organizational performance and sustainability. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method by distributing structured questionnaires to employees. A total of respondents participated, and the data collected were processed using multiple linear regression analysis to test both partial and simultaneous influences of the independent variables. The findings reveal that workload has a negative and significant impact on employee productivity, indicating that excessive demands can reduce performance and efficiency. On the other hand, organizational culture and work discipline show positive and significant effects on productivity, suggesting that a strong cultural foundation and consistent discipline practices can enhance employee performance. Moreover, the simultaneous test results confirm that workload, organizational culture, and work discipline collectively have a significant effect on employee productivity. These results emphasize the importance of balancing employee workload to prevent burnout, promoting a positive organizational culture that fosters collaboration and motivation, and consistently enforcing discipline to ensure accountability. Overall, the study highlights that effective human resource management practices play a key role in improving employee productivity and, consequently, in achieving organizational goals.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the lifestyle and potential participation of financial institution pension funds (DPLK) among young workers in Jakarta. The study respondents included 42 young workers with various occupational backgrounds and income levels. The results showed that 46% of young workers have a low-cost lifestyle, so they stated that preparing for retirement funds early is important. Furthermore, 46% of respondents have the ability to save in DPLK with monthly contributions between Rp100,000–Rp300,000, 28% can contribute more than Rp300,000, while 26% can only set aside less than Rp100,000 per month. This level of awareness shows variations in financial readiness influenced by several factors. First, a still dominant consumptive lifestyle causes some young workers to delay retirement planning. Second, low financial literacy regarding pension funds makes them less aware of the benefits and urgency of DPLK participation. Third, the perception that retirement is still far away encourages delays, thus reducing commitment to active participation. To increase young worker participation, several strategies can be adopted, including relevant and contextual pension fund education, providing digital platforms that facilitate access, implementing incentive systems to attract interest, and positioning Pension Funds (DPLK) as part of a modern lifestyle. Furthermore, innovative ultra-micro DPLK products can reach workers with limited financial resources. If these strategic steps are implemented consistently, young worker participation in DPLK has the potential to increase significantly. Thus, pension funds in Indonesia can enter a "dawn" era marked by early awareness, rather than being seen as a "twilight era" relevant only near retirement age.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the alignment of Bank Jago’s digital banking innovations with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) during the 2022–2024 period. The method used is a qualitative descriptive analysis with a document study approach, which includes the Annual Report, Integrated Report, and Sustainability Report of Bank Jago over the past three years. The results of the study indicate that Bank Jago’s digital innovations are aligned with the five main dimensions of the SDGs: economic, social, governance, environmental, and partnership. From the economic perspective, digitalization has enhanced efficiency and financial performance through the growth of third-party funds and the expansion of access to digital services. In the social dimension, financial literacy programs, MSME financing, and digital zakat initiatives have strengthened financial inclusion among communities. The governance and environmental aspects demonstrate a commitment to transparency, energy efficiency, and green banking practices. Meanwhile, collaborations with fintech ecosystems and social institutions have reinforced sustainable partnerships. Overall, Bank Jago has implemented a digital transformation strategy aligned with the principles of Strategic Fit and Value Co-Creation, making digital innovation not only an instrument of economic growth but also a means to achieve sustainable development in Indonesia’s banking sector.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in supporting local and national economic development, particularly through employment generation and income distribution. Seasonal religious events such as Ramadan significantly influence consumption patterns and market dynamics, creating both opportunities and challenges for MSMEs. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the “Seri Ramadhan” phenomenon within the strategic management practices of MSMEs in Martapura, focusing on the periods before and after Ramadan. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach with field study methods. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation involving selected MSME actors in the culinary, fashion, and retail sectors. The findings indicate that prior to Ramadan, MSMEs emphasize strategic planning through product innovation, stock preparation, promotional intensification, and operational adjustments. After Ramadan, they conduct performance evaluations, inventory control, and strategic realignment to maintain business sustainability. The study highlights that Ramadan is not merely a short-term sales opportunity but also a strategic momentum integrated into broader business planning cycles. The implications suggest that adaptive and cyclical strategic management enhances MSME resilience and competitive advantage in seasonal markets.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of inflation on the profitability of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) operating in traditional markets. Inflation influences key business aspects, including rising production costs, declining consumer purchasing power, and instability in input prices, all of which can disrupt business performance. The research employed a quantitative approach using survey data collected from MSME actors to assess these effects. The findings reveal that inflation has a significant negative impact on MSME profitability, particularly through the reduction of profit margins. This occurs as businesses face higher raw material costs while simultaneously experiencing a decline in sales volume due to weakened consumer demand. As a result, many MSMEs struggle to maintain financial stability and sustain their operations under inflationary pressure. These findings highlight the need for adaptive strategies among MSMEs, such as cost efficiency and pricing adjustments. Additionally, the study offers important policy implications for the government to support MSMEs through targeted interventions, including price stabilization measures and financial assistance programs, in order to maintain business resilience and economic sustainability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of design, features, warranty, weight, color, screen resolution, and memory on consumer satisfaction of the iPhone brand mobile phone. This study uses a quantitative descriptive research method whose conclusions are based on statistically processed figures. The population in this study were all iPhone consumers in Candisari District, Semarang City. Samples were taken as many as 100 customers. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The data source used was primary data obtained through a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used was multiple linear regression analysis, F test, t test, and coefficient of determination test. Previously, a classical assumption test was carried out in the form of a normality test, multicollinearity test, and heteroscedasticity test. The results of the study indicate that: 1) Product attributes consisting of design, features, warranty, weight, color, screen resolution, and memory together influence consumer satisfaction of iPhone users. This is proven by the results of the F test which obtained a value of F count > F table (56.892 > 2.29) at a significance level of 5%. This means that whether consumers are satisfied or not is influenced by consumer perceptions of the characteristics of the iPhone brand cellphone product. The characteristics of the iPhone brand cellphone product sold have been able to meet consumer expectations so that consumers feel satisfied; 2) Warranty is a factor that has a dominant influence on customer satisfaction. This is proven by the results of the t test for the warranty obtaining a t count value of 4.446, higher than the t count of other variables. This means that the guarantee given by the company for the product is a factor that makes consumers feel satisfied with the product.

Abstract

TikTok Shop is a popular application that offers online shopping and interaction experiences for consumers. Marketers at TikTok Shop use various methods to encourage consumer decisions to make purchases. This study aims to determine the effect of celebrity endorsers, online customer reviews, and viral marketing on purchasing decisions for TikTok Shop e-commerce products. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach by providing questionnaires to respondents. The population studied was all people in Semarang City who have the TikTok Shop application and have purchased products through the application. A sample of 112 people was taken using the convenience sampling technique. Data were obtained through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis, F test, R2 test, and t test. The results of the study indicate that celebrity endorsements have a positive and significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions for Tiktok Shop users in Semarang City. The increasing use of celebrity endorsements will encourage consumer decisions to buy. Online customer reviews have a positive and significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions for Tiktok Shop users in Semarang City. The more positive online customer reviews, the more it will encourage consumer decisions to buy. Viral marketing has a positive and significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions for Tiktok Shop users in Semarang City. The increasing use of viral marketing will encourage consumer decisions to buy.

Abstract

This study discusses the analysis of the account opening procedure for E-mas Savings through the digital platform BYOND by Bank Syariah Indonesia. The selection of this topic is motivated by the development of digital services in Islamic banking and the increasing public interest in gold investment products based on sharia principles. The purpose of this study is to identify the procedure for opening an E-mas Savings account and to examine its compliance with sharia accounting principles and DSN-MUI Fatwas. This research was conducted at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Tegal Sutoyo using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The study employed a qualitative descriptive approach to obtain an in-depth understanding of the implementation of digital-based E-mas Savings services. The focus of the research was directed toward the stages of the account opening procedure, transaction mechanisms, and the application of sharia principles in digital banking services. The results indicate that the procedure for opening an E-mas Savings account has been implemented in accordance with applicable regulations and sharia principles, although there are still obstacles related to the uneven level of customer understanding regarding digital service mechanisms. In addition, the implementation of digital services through BYOND by BSI is considered capable of providing convenience, efficiency, and flexibility for customers in conducting gold investments without having to visit bank branches directly. Therefore, increased education and socialization for customers are needed so that the utilization of E-mas Savings can run more optimally and enhance public trust in digital-based sharia investment products.

Abstract

This study examines the importance of financial literacy in encouraging young people's interest in stock investment. Low investment interest among young people is generally influenced by limited understanding of financial management and a lack of knowledge regarding capital markets. Therefore, financial literacy is seen as playing a crucial role in helping young people understand the benefits, risks, and how to invest appropriately. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach through data collection from various sources related to the investment behavior of young people. The results show that a good financial understanding can increase awareness, mindset, and interest in investing in stocks among young people. In addition to providing knowledge about fund management, financial literacy also helps individuals make more rational and targeted investment decisions. Therefore, improving financial literacy is a crucial step in building interest in stock investment among young people while supporting their ability to manage their finances more wisely and responsibly in the future.
