Abstract

This research aims to analyze how technological advances affect the quality of life of generation Z. In an increasingly sophisticated digital era, generation Z is a group that is very dependent on technology, both in aspects of education, communication, entertainment and work. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Data was collected from various scientific articles, books, journals and research reports related to the topic of quality of life for Generation Z and the influence of technology. The research results show that technology has a positive impact in facilitating access to information and employment opportunities, but also increases risks related to mental health and technology dependence. This article concludes that technology has an ambivalent influence on the quality of life of generation Z, depending on its usage patterns.

Abstract

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), mental health is a state of wellbeing that a person is aware of that includes the ability to manage life's stresses in a sensible way, to work productively and fruitfully, and to participate in their community.The importance of learning about mental health services is that mental health does not only mean the absence of mental disorders, but also includes a person's ability to cope with stress, develop personally, and build healthy relationships. By getting good mental health services, a person can get professional support to manage emotional problems, prevent more serious psychological disorders, improve their quality of life. The research method uses a literature study, by analyzing 21 journals as primary data. Data analysis with several stages, the first stage determines the theme, the second stage selects journal articles that are relevant to the theme and in accordance with the last 6 years, the third stage of the review process as many as 7 journal articles, the fourth stage of categorization and the fifth stage of drawing conclusions. Abstract

This research aims to explain social support on individual mental development. According to Cobb, social support is defined as comfort, care, appreciation, or support that a person feels from other people or groups. Social support arises from the belief that there are people who are ready to help when a situation occurs that is considered to cause problems. This assistance is considered to increase positive feelings and increase self-esteem. The research method uses literature study, by analyzing 27 journals as primary data. Data analysis in several stages, the first stage is determining the theme, the second stage is selecting journal articles that are relevant to the theme and in accordance with the time limit of the last 9 years, the third stage is a review process of 7 journal articles, the fourth stage is categorization and the fifth stage is closing conclusions. The research results show that social support has an important role in several components in psychological well-being, emotional intelligence, academic adjustment, facilitating daily activities in autistic children and levels of depression. It is hoped that this research will be able to examine in more depth the theme of social support on individual mental development

Abstract

This research aims to explain the role of the family in building children's character. The role of the family According to Djuju, the family is the main educator. Religious values, values ​​and norms of good attitudes are the main educational material. Family is the first and foremost place for children. It is there that they acquire many of the values ​​and norms instilled in them since childhood. Therefore, the family plays an important role in forming a child's character. Family education is education that parents give to their children in the right way and prepares them for life in society. Abstract

Respect Education is an approach aimed at instilling values of respect, tolerance, and responsibility within educational settings. In schools, this education serves as a vital solution to fostering mutual respect amidst diversity, addressing social conflicts, and reducing bullying behavior. This article aims to identify strategies and implementations of Respect Education in schools, as well as examining its supporting and inhibiting factors. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method by reviewing relevant literature. Findings reveal that the success of Respect Education is influenced by the involvement of multiple stakeholders, the role of teachers as facilitators, and approaches based on local and religious values. The article recommends collaboration between schools, parents, and communities to create a sustainable culture of respect

Abstract

This study aims to explain the movement of da'wah leadership in the digital era. According to Fiedler, a leader will not succeed or will fail if he only applies one style in carrying out his leadership, but the success of a leader in carrying out his leadership, if the leader is able to justify his various leadership styles with various situations faced in leading, or with a leadership style based on changes that occur in the organization. The research method uses literature studies, by analyzing 21 journals as primary data. Data analysis with several stages, the first stage determines the theme, the second stage selects journal articles that are relevant to the theme and in accordance with the deadline of the last 4 years, the third stage is the review process of 7 journal articles, the fourth stage is categorization and the fifth stage is drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the importance of da'wah in the field of Islamic leadership is to form leaders who are based on values such as justice, trustworthiness, and honesty in accordance with Islamic teachings. The biggest challenge in this da'wah is conveying the message to the millennial generation who tend to be more dependent on technology. One effective method to achieve this is through social media, especially podcasts, which are popular among them. With an engaging, flexible, and easily accessible format, podcasts are the perfect medium to deliver Islamic leadership messages in a persuasive and well-received manner to the audience

Abstract

This research is motivated by several adolescents who cannot plan responsible social behavior and they do not understand how they should behave in society, one of which is caused by parents who are busy working, this greatly affects development during adolescence, especially for adolescent psychology, it is known that there are several adolescents whose behavior is not in accordance with adolescents in general, their behavior tends to be negative. There are two problems studied in this thesis, namely (1) How is the Psychological Impact of adolescents due to parents being busy working, (2) What efforts are made by parents to be able to provide sufficient attention to adolescents when they are busy working. The purpose of this study was to determine the psychological impact on adolescents due to parents being busy working and what efforts parents make to be able to provide sufficient attention to adolescents while busy working. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. This type of research is field research. The determination of research informants used a purposive sampling technique. The informants in this study were adolescents whose parents were busy working and parents. The total number of informants was 14 people. The results of the study revealed that (1) The psychological impact on adolescents due to parents being busy working is: feeling ashamed of friends, feeling anxious because parents are often not at home, and experiencing obstacles in learning such as difficulty concentrating and being lazy to do schoolwork. (2) Efforts made by parents to provide sufficient attention to adolescents while busy working are: 1. Entrusting children to neighbors or close family so that parents can find out about their child's behavior, 2. guiding children in learning patiently and following the child's learning method and meeting the needs required by children in learning activities, 3. Providing advice by calling or sending short messages

Abstract

Developing creativity is based on the potential that exists within oneself, there is something that must be explored and the tone also comes from oneself and this is supported by experience. Creativity plays a very important role in the learning process because a creative educator is able to develop learning methods, use media and carry out classroom management well. The aim of this research is to determine the creativity of an Islamic Religious Education teacher in optimizing reading and writing the Koran and utilizing media and managing the class. This research uses a descriptive type of qualitative research, namely a type of research that requires researchers to go directly to the research location and see the condition of the field objects to be studied. Data collection used in this research is observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used is qualitative data analysis in the nature of Miles and Huberman Sugiyono. Meanwhile, the data validity tests used are credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability tests. The results of this research show that the creativity of Islamic Religious Education teachers in learning to read and write the Al-Qur'an at SMP Negeri 18 Bengkulu city is quite good because PAI teachers have the creativity to build enthusiasm for learning and motivate students to want to learn. PAI teachers use various methods and of course also vary. A teacher can be said to be creative when he is able to manage the class well

Abstract

This article attempts to elaborate on the ambivalence of Abdurrahman Wahid or Gus Dur in his postcolonial Islamic discourse and its implications in the dialogue between Islam and the West. The idea of ​​Gus Dur's postcolonial Islamic discourse can be found in works in the form of articles and essays. In these works, Gus Dur appears as an open-minded and liberal intellectual scholar in accepting and responding to Western thought and ideology. These Western thoughts and ideologies are contextualized by Gus Dur into his Islamic discourse. When the majority of Muslim intellectuals and ulamas tend to be resistant to the West, Gus Dur actually eclectically accepts the development of Western thought and ideology. By using postcolonial reading and the Ricoeurian hermeneutic method, this article finds a hybrid identity between Islam and the West in the Islamic discourse developed by Gus Dur. The hybrid identity possessed by Gus Dur is used to build his postcolonial Islamic discourse that is compatible with democracy. The postcolonial Islamic discourse developed by Gus Dur was practiced in the struggle to strengthen Pancasila democracy and humanism in Indonesia. Gus Dur's postcolonial Islamic discourse respects the plurality of Indonesian society in terms of ethnicity, culture, and religion. Gus Dur's respect for plurality was built by his cosmopolitan thinking and made him open to identity hybridity. The hybrid process of Gus Dur's postcolonial Islamic discourse produced ambivalence in the form of mimicry and mockery of the West found in his writings on philosophy, democracy, literature, and language. Therefore, Gus Dur's hybrid ideas are relevant to bridging the global dialogue between Islam and the West which he also voiced in international forums.

Abstract

Bullying is an act or behavior that is carried out by hurting Dallam physically, verbally, or emotionally/psychologically by a person or group who feels physically or mentally weaker repeatedly without any resistance with the aim of making the victim suffer. Bullying behavior at SMPN 01 Pasemah Air Keruh, Empat Lawang Regency can create an environment that is less supportive of children's development, both physically and mentally. The bullying behavior that occurred at SMPN 01 Pasemah Air Keruh, Empat Lawang Regency was in the form of physical, verbal and mental. This bullying arises due to misunderstandings and minor problems that have an impact on the victim's mental health. This study aims to: (1) find out the form of verbal bullying behavior in students of SMPN 01 Pasemah Air Keruh, Empat Lawang Regency, (2) find out the impact of verbal bullying behavior on students of SMPN 01 Pasemah Air Keruh, Empat Lawang Regency. The approach used in this study is qualitative with the type of case study research. To find the researcher's data, use interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique is an interactive analysis with stages consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. From the research, it was found that (1) the form of verbal bullying behavior that occurred at SMPN 01 Pasemah Air Keruh was insulting, cursing, accusing, and slandering. Meanwhile, the physical bullying that occurs is hitting, pushing, and grabbing/pulling. And the mental bullying that occurs is ostracizing, threatening, and glaring/looking cynically, (2) the impact of bullying behavior, namely the victim of bullying becomes quiet, weak, afraid when meeting with the perpetrator, tired of the perpetrator's treatment of him, becomes very depressed, and also not enthusiastic about learning.
