Abstract

This research aims to examine the relationship between leadership and lecturer self-efficacy and its impact on the performance of the tri dharma of higher education. In order for the research to achieve its objectives, researchers used qualitative research methods with a documentation study approach. The results of the study conclude that there is a strong and reciprocal relationship between leadership and lecturer self-efficacy. Leaders who are able to build good communication channels, in formal and informal spaces, will create positive leverage for the performance of lecturers in fulfilling the tri dharma obligations of higher education. Abstract

The construction of a new road in Purbaratu District, Tasikmalaya, represents a significant case for studying infrastructure's impact on local economies. This study examines how the new road affects local mendong handicraft artisans and roadside vendors. Using a mixed-method approach, the research finds that while accessibility has improved, the benefits have not been evenly distributed. Artisans face marketing and raw material supply challenges, while vendors struggle with spatial regulation and legality. The study highlights the necessity of zoning policies, digital adaptation training, and the development of community-based entrepreneurship ecosystems through multi-stakeholder collaboration. These findings underscore the need for synergy between physical infrastructure and socio-economic capacity building to ensure inclusive and sustainable development outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Islamic accounting education in shaping the professional ethics of accounting students in Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 300 students majoring in accounting who took Islamic accounting courses. The results showed that Islamic accounting education has a significant influence on the formation of students' professional ethics. Students who have a good understanding of sharia principles, such as the prohibition of riba, gharar, and maysir, tend to prioritize ethical values in accounting practices, such as integrity, transparency, and fairness. However, the results also show that the application of these principles in the working world is still limited, which indicates the need for further development in the curriculum and teaching methods. This study provides an important contribution to the development of Islamic accounting education curriculum that is more effective in shaping high professional ethics in students

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan investasi syariah di Indonesia, dengan fokus pada literasi keuangan syariah, persepsi terhadap risiko dan return, kepercayaan terhadap lembaga keuangan syariah, faktor sosial dan budaya, serta pengaruh media sosial dan influencer. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan analisis regresi, data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 500 responden yang berinvestasi atau tertarik untuk berinvestasi dalam produk investasi syariah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi keuangan syariah, persepsi risiko dan return, kepercayaan terhadap lembaga keuangan syariah, serta faktor sosial dan budaya berpengaruh positif terhadap keputusan investasi syariah. Selain itu, pengaruh media sosial dan influencer juga memiliki dampak signifikan, terutama di kalangan generasi muda. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya edukasi keuangan syariah dan pemanfaatan media sosial dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pasar investasi syariah di Indonesia. Rekomendasi yang dapat diberikan adalah lembaga keuangan syariah perlu lebih fokus pada peningkatan literasi keuangan syariah melalui program edukasi yang lebih luas, memanfaatkan platform media sosial untuk menjangkau generasi muda, serta meningkatkan transparansi dan kepercayaan terhadap lembaga mereka guna mendorong lebih banyak masyarakat berinvestasi dalam produk syariah yang sesuai dengan prinsip Islam.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of project-based learning (PBL) method in improving students' business skills in Entrepreneurship course at Tasikmalaya Islamic Institute. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study method, which involves in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The results showed that PBL contributed to improving students' managerial skills, critical thinking ability, and creativity in facing business challenges. In addition, students involved in real projects showed higher levels of self-confidence and had more innovative and independent entrepreneurial characters. However, the implementation of this method still faces obstacles such as limited resources and students' lack of experience in running a business. Therefore, support from educational institutions in the form of mentoring and business facilities is needed to increase the effectiveness of this method. Thus, PBL can be an effective learning strategy in teaching entrepreneurship in faith-based universities

Abstract

This article explores the fulfillment of marital needs in the household of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as an ideal model for establishing a harmonious and value-based Islamic family. The study focuses on three main dimensions: emotional needs, spousal relational closeness, and spiritual tranquility. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ exemplified gentle communication, sincere affection, and emotional warmth in his interactions with his wives. Regarding the intimate marital relationship, the Prophet emphasized mutual understanding, refined manners, and attentiveness to the partner’s well-being. This study adopts a qualitative descriptive approach through library research, drawing on primary sources such as the Qur’an and hadith, along with relevant scholarly literature. The findings aim to contribute to the discourse on Islamic marital ethics that emphasize cooperation, compassion, and emotional balance within the family.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of motivation, consumer perceptions, lifestyle and beliefs on purchasing decisions on Shopee marketplace users in Tasikmalaya City. The sample of this research amounted to 100 respondents. This research uses cluster sampling technique. The data analysis used is quantitative with multiple linier regression method. The results showed that (1) Motivation had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions in the shopee marketplace, (2) costumer perceptions had no positive and insignificant, effect on purchasing decisions in the shpee marketplace (3) lifestyle had no positive and insignificant effect on purchasing decisions in the shopee marketplace (4) trust has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions in the shopee marketplace (5) motivation, costumer perceptions, lifestyle and trust have a positive and significant impact on purchasing decisions in the shopee marketplace.

Abstract

The limited integration of Islamic economic principles into Tasikmalaya City's planning documents poses a significant challenge, despite the city's strong demographic and Islamic cultural base. Policy fragmentation between the city and surrounding regions, along with weak municipal support, has hindered the development of a robust Islamic economic ecosystem. This study aims to formulate evidence-based strategic directions for Islamic economic development in Tasikmalaya.Using a mixed-methods approach with an exploratory sequential design within a Research and Development (R&D) framework, data were gathered from literature analysis, policy review, in-depth interviews, and structured questionnaires. The object of the study includes the institutional, stakeholder, and interactional dimensions of the Islamic economic ecosystem in Tasikmalaya City. The study identifies five key strategic priorities from twelve assessed variables using the MCDA-WDMA model: (1) intergovernmental policy synchronization, (2) strengthening Islamic economic institutions, (3) digital transformation of Islamic services, (4) community engagement through pesantren and Islamic organizations, and (5) fiscal incentives and affirmative regulation. Dynamic weight analysis from stakeholders reveals a dominant preference for Pentahelix collaboration. These findings confirm the utility of MCDA-WDMA in generating context-sensitive, evidence-based development frameworks.

Abstract

Economic growth is a crucial indicator for assessing a country's development success. Although Indonesia recorded the highest investment value, there is a disparity with Vietnam, which emerged as the country with the highest economic growth in 2022 among ASEAN nations. This phenomenon highlights the need for further research into the effectiveness of investment and labor in driving economic growth. This study aims to analyze the impact of investment and labor on economic growth in Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines during the 1994–2023 period. The analysis was conducted both partially and simultaneously. Employing a quantitative approach with panel data regression, the Fixed Effect model was selected based on the results of Chow and Hausman tests. The research findings indicate that investment has a positive and significant partial effect on economic growth. Similarly, labor also demonstrates a positive and significant partial effect on economic growth. Furthermore, simultaneously, both investment and labor are proven to significantly influence economic growth. The regression model used exhibits good predictive power, with 70.49% of the variation in economic growth being explained by investment and labor. These findings underscore the importance of synergy between investment effectiveness and improved labor quality in fostering sustainable economic growth in the Southeast Asian region.

Abstract

One form of government effort to support this is through the implementation of the Community Empowerment Trust Fund Program (DAPM), which is a community-owned fund derived from the National Program for Community Empowerment (PNPM) funds managed by the community in poverty reduction based on community empowerment, namely through Women's Special Savings and Loan (SPP) activities. This program is designed to provide business capital assistance to underprivileged communities with the hope that they can develop their businesses independently and be able to improve the standard of living of the community. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the implementation of the Cisayong DAPM program on community welfare in Cisayong Sub-district, Tasikmalaya Regency. The type of research used is field survey research with quantitative methods. The population in this study were members of the Women's Special Savings and Loan (SPP) which amounted to 157 groups. Researcher sample withdrawal using simple random sampling technique. The method of determining the number of samples using the slovin formula with an accuracy level of 0.1 of the total population obtained a sample of 92 respondents. The results of this study indicate that the T test results state that the Cisayong DAPM program has a significant effect on community welfare. With the coefficient of determination, it can be seen from the R Square of 0.687, which means that the influence of the Cisayong DAPM program variable on community welfare is 68,7% and the rest is caused by other factors.
