Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence consumer preferences for skincare products in Palopo City. This study uses a quantitative method with a non-probability approach and purposive sampling technique to obtain a representative sample, considering the population is not known with certainty. The sample used in this study amounted to 150 respondents, selected based on the criteria of skincare users in Palopo City. Data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed using the snowball sampling technique through social media. The questionnaire consisted of 20 measurement items related to the constructs of creative self-efficacy, knowledge sharing, innovative work behavior, and employee performance, using a Likert scale of 1 to 4. Data analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) technique, which allows testing of causal relationships between latent concepts in a theoretical model. Abstract

This study examines the development and potential of zakat, infak, sedekah, waqf (ZISWAF) in improving the welfare of Islamic boarding schools, with a case study at the elTAHFIDH Indonesian Quran Boarding School. Using a qualitative method with a triangulation approach through in-depth interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGD), this study found that the ZISWAF program has an important role in improving the welfare of Islamic boarding schools. Before the ZISWAF program, Islamic boarding schools faced challenges such as limited capital financing, infrastructure preparation, and human resource financing. Through transparent and effective ZISWAF management, Islamic boarding schools have succeeded in improving welfare by building community trust, utilizing funds according to contracts, and routine reporting to donors. ZISWAF funds have a positive impact in various aspects, such as improving the quality of education, Islamic boarding school facilities, and the welfare of students and Islamic boarding school managers. Collaboration, transparency, and professionalism in managing ZISWAF funds are the keys to success in optimizing the potential of ZISWAF for the welfare of Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This study analyzes halal consumption behavior among Indonesian Muslim immigrants in Jinjang, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Using a qualitative method with a case study approach, data was collected through surveys and interviews. The results showed that 67% of immigrants pay attention to the halal logo, and 58% read the ingredients before purchasing. However, many still have difficulty distinguishing between official and non-official halal logos, as well as low halal awareness among immigrant children. Abstract

This study examines the shifting patterns of labor mobility in Indonesia influenced by the social media trend #KaburAjaDulu2025. This phenomenon has seen an increase in the number of Indonesian workers seeking better jobs abroad in response to the stagnation of the domestic job market. This research discusses the various components that drive such mobility, as well as how it impacts the economic and social life of the community. The research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach and a literature study. The results of the study show that economic inequality, low wages, technological advances, and easy access to the internet around the world are factors that drive the movement of Indonesian workers. Permanent migration, shuttle mobility and circular migration are the three main mobility patterns that emerge. This mobility can improve family health, increase knowledge, and improve the economy of the region of origin. However, this labor mobility also triggers a number of challenges, such as the loss of quality labor (brain drain), development inequality between regions, and the potential for increased unemployment and social problems in the destination area. Therefore, more responsive and adaptive policies, increased investment in productive sectors, and stronger protection for migrant workers are needed, so that this phenomenon can be utilized as an opportunity to improve the livelihood of migrant workers.

The method used in this research is to interview consumers from three retail stores in Sumberanyar, namely Zaini Store, Harapan Jaya Store and Yeni Store, and to analyse the data obtained from these interviews. The results show that Harapan Jaya Store stands out in the application of price transparency and customer service with a score of 70% each, indicating a good application of Islamic business ethics. Meanwhile, Yeni Store has weaknesses in price transparency (65%), although it is quite good in customer service (70%). Zaini Store excels in price transparency (70%) but has a weakness in customer service (60%) due to limited staff. The results suggest that although Islamic business ethics are applied, differences in their application affect customer satisfaction and loyalty, with internal factors such as management and staff training strongly influencing service quality.
