Abstract

This study aims to investigate how brand image, social media marketing, and lifestyle affect Semarang City consumers' satisfaction with Adidas sneakers. For a survey with a quantitative approach, 100 respondents were chosen via purposeful sampling. The data was analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0 and partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The results demonstrate that social media marketing, lifestyle, and brand image have a favorable and significant impact on consumer satisfaction and purchasing decisions. Furthermore, consumer pleasure is positively and significantly impacted by purchasing decisions, which mediate the relationships between brand image, social media marketing, lifestyle, and customer contentment. These results imply that improving social media marketing, enhancing company image, and matching items to consumers' lifestyles will improve customer happiness and purchase decisions. Adidas should therefore keep improving its product positioning and marketing tactics in order to sustain consumer satisfaction and competitiveness.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between CSR, ERM, and profitability on firm value, as well as to analyze the role of the independent board of commissioners as a proxy for GCG in moderating that relationship. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from the annual reports and sustainability reports of companies in the non-cyclical consumer sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research sample consisted of 22 companies with an observation period from 2022 to 2024. Purposive sampling was used to determine the research sample. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA), processed using SPSS version 26. The results reveal that CSR and ERM do not have a significant effect on firm value. Conversely, profitability, as proxied by ROE, has a positive and significant effect on firm value. Furthermore, the independent board of commissioners, as a proxy for GCG, is unable to moderate the effects of CSR or ERM on firm value but is shown to strengthen the effect of profitability on firm value. This study focuses exclusively on companies in the non-cyclical consumer sector. Therefore, future researchers are advised to examine different sectors and consider additional factors that may influence the value of these companies in order to obtain a wider range of results

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of the Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR), the Human Development Index (HDI), and economic growth on poverty in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) from 2014 to 2024. The study employs panel data combining cross-sectional data from 22 regencies/cities in NTT with an 11-year time series, resulting in 242 observation units. Panel data regression analysis was conducted using the Fixed Effects Model (FEM), determined to be the most appropriate model. The research findings indicate that the LFPR has a significant negative impact on poverty, suggesting that increased workforce participation contributes to poverty reduction, albeit to a relatively small extent. The HDI also has a significant negative impact on poverty, demonstrating that improving workforce quality—through education, health, and a decent standard of living—plays a crucial role in alleviating poverty. Meanwhile, economic growth shows a negative but insignificant impact on poverty, indicating that financial progress in NTT has not been fully inclusive and has failed to reach the poor population equitably. These results highlight the importance of improving workforce quality, creating productive employment opportunities, and fostering more inclusive economic development as strategies to reduce poverty in NTT.

Abstract

Eastern Indonesia harbors enormous yet underdeveloped potential for Islamic philanthropy, and Jayapura City as the economic epicenter of Papua offers a strategically significant context for understanding the dynamics behind muzakki's decision to fulfill their zakat obligations. This study aims to analyze the influence of zakat literacy, income level, and fintech adoption on muzakki's zakat payment decision in Jayapura City, both partially and simultaneously. Drawing on a sample of 210 muzakki selected through purposive sampling, data were collected using a structured Likert-scale questionnaire (1–5) comprising 26 indicators across four research constructs. Data analysis employed Partial Least Square- Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) via SmartPLS 3.0. Measurement model evaluation confirmed that all indicators met the required validity and reliability thresholds, with outer loadings ranging from 0.737 to 0.844, AVE from 0.622 to 0.691, and Composite Reliability from 0.899 to 0.938. The structural model yielded an R² of 0.855, indicating that the three predictors jointly explained 85.5% of the variance in zakat payment decisions. Bootstrapping results confirmed that Zakat Literacy (β = 0.597; T = 18.071; p = 0.000), Income Level (β = 0.567; T = 19.199; p = 0.000), and Fintech Adoption (β = 0.408; T = 12.482; p = 0.000) each exerted a positive and significant effect on muzakki's zakat payment decision. Zakat Literacy emerged as the most dominant predictor (f² = 2.451), followed by Income Level (f² = 2.208) and Fintech Adoption (f² = 1.144). These findings underscore the critical need for systematic zakat literacy programs, community economic empowerment, and accelerated digitalization of zakat services in Eastern Indonesia as evidence-based strategies for optimizing zakat collection in the region.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of halal awareness and brand image on purchase decisions through purchase intention as an intervening variable among Generation Z consumers of Richeese Factory in Yogyakarta. The research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed to consumers who had previously purchased products from Richeese Factory in Yogyakarta. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, resulting in 150 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.1.1.1 software. The results indicate that halal awareness has a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions and purchase intention. Brand image also has a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions and purchase intention. Furthermore, purchase intention has a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions. The mediation analysis reveals that purchase intention successfully mediates the relationship between halal awareness and purchase decisions, as well as the relationship between brand image and purchase decisions. These findings suggest that consumers' awareness of halal aspects and positive perceptions of a brand play important roles in increasing purchase intention, which subsequently encourages purchase decisions. This study contributes to the development of consumer behavior literature, particularly in the halal food industry, and provides practical implications for companies in strengthening halal awareness and brand image to improve consumers' purchase decisions.

Abstract

Employee loyalty is an important factor in supporting the sustainability and achievement of organizational goals, particularly in the banking sector, which demands high levels of professionalism, responsibility, and work commitment. However, the existence of issues related to the compensation system and the level of employee job satisfaction indicates the need for a more in-depth study of the factors influencing employee loyalty. This study aims to analyze the effect of compensation and job satisfaction on employee loyalty at Bank Majalengka, both partially and simultaneously. This research employs descriptive and verificative methods using a quantitative approach. The research data were obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to 99 employee respondents at Bank Majalengka. Data analysis was conducted using classical assumption tests, including normality tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests using the Glejser method, and autocorrelation tests. Furthermore, the analysis was continued with model feasibility testing (F-test), multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination (R²), and hypothesis testing (t-test). The results of the study show that compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty, while job satisfaction also has a positive and significant effect on employee loyalty.
