RESLAJ: Religion Education Social Laa Roiba Journal is a scientific journal of the National Islamic Institute of Religion (IAI-N) Laa Roiba Bogor. Managed by the Institute of Research and Community Service (LPPM) IAI-N Laa Roiba in colaboration witf Intelectual Association for Islamic Studies (IAFORIS) and Masyarakat Ekonomi Syariah. The RESLAJ is published every June and December to support the development of research and studies on religious, educational, social, economic, and broadcasting issues of Islamic dakwah from various perspectives. <![CDATA[The issue of gender gap and male dominance, which has historically affected the role of women in society, is a common problem. This study aims to examine the representation of gender equality in the Netflix series "Kretek Girl" using a qualitative-descriptive approach with John Fiske's semiotic method using three levels of analysis, namely the reality level, the representation level, and the ideological level. The type of data source was obtained using 2 types, namely primary data in the form of images of Scene clips in the Netflix series "Kretek Girl" and secondary data using literature and literature studies. At the reality level, the series depicts the division of gender roles through visuals and social interactions. At the level of representation, the storyline and cinematographic techniques highlight women's struggles against patriarchal norms. Meanwhile, at the ideological level, the series invites the audience to question the traditional values that limit the role of women. This study emphasizes the importance of understanding the influence of patriarchy in social and cultural contexts, and highlights the relevance of gender equality issues in Indonesia's industry and society]]>

<![CDATA[Film is a modern communication medium that is effective for entertaining and conveying messages that can influence attitudes, thought patterns and open insight for the audience. In every film made, the film maker has his own way of conveying messages to the audience with audio and visuals. Nationalist documentary genre films can increase the audience's spirit of nationalism. Nationalism is very important because nationalism is a national spirit that absolutely must exist in every individual as a citizen of the Indonesian nation. The aims of this research are: 1) To examine the da'wah approach in the Buya Hamka film volume 1, 2) To analyze the da'wah methods used by buya hamka in the film buya hamka volume 1. The type of research used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection used observation techniques, interviews, by interviewing 5 viewers of the Buya Hamka film volume 1 and verifying the data using triangulation and documentation. The research results show that the da'wah method in the film Buya Hamka is the da'wah method used in the film, such as lecture, dialogue, or characterization methods that represent Islamic values. The importance of including preaching values in films effectively and interestingly without reducing the entertainment value of the film. The da'wah approach in the Buya Hamka film discusses the da'wah approach applied by Buya Hamka, for example whether the approach used is more humanistic, persuasive, or intellectual, in order to be able to convey religious values relevantly in the socio-cultural context of the society depicted in the film. This also needs to be included.]]>

<![CDATA[Along with the arrival of foreign colors from various countries to the city of Surabaya, causing smuggling. In population documents about Certificate of Residence (SKTT) of Foreigners is very necessary now to know that it is legal or illegal if you want to live in Surabaya. So the purpose of this research is to find out the supervision of the implementation of SKTT Foreigners who come and will settle in the city of Surabaya, so that there is no smuggling or illegal activities. Descriptive qualitative approach with the intention of providing a comprehensive picture with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. Getting new findings, namely on the role of the Population and Civil Registration Office in Supervising the Implementation of SKTT Foreigners in Surabaya City from the three sub-focuses in terms of setting work standards, there are still obstacles in delivering information so that there was unclear information. However, the measurement of work results and corrective actions are optimal enough to provide services and preventive efforts so that nothing untoward happens in the future.]]>

<![CDATA[Advertisements are a means of communication used by communicators, in this case, producers, or companies, to convey informationabout services or goods, primarily to their customers or consumers. Advertisements are not only a means of promotion but can also serve as a medium for delivering messages. One type of message that can be conveyed in advertisements is the representation of moral messages. This research aims to analyze the moral messages contained in the Telkomsel Siaga Ramadhan Edition #BersamaKitaBerkah advertisement. This research uses a qualitative method with a critical paradigm and a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include observation and documentation. The theory used is Roland Barthes’ semiotics theory, which analyzes the denotative, connotative, and mythical meanings in the Telkomsel Siaga Ramadhan Edition #BersamaKitaBerkah advertisement. The results of this research show that the denotative and connotative meanings in each scene presented are closely related to everyday life. They remind us to always respect our mothers and appreciate their hard work, dedication, and efforts in raising us. The myth created is that a child should be able to repay the kindness of a mother who has worked hard to support and finance the child. The conclusion is that Telkomsel does not just create advertisements as commercial ads aimed at gaining profit but strives to present works whose story content contain positive moral messages that can be taken as lessons for Telkomsel provider users.]]>

<![CDATA[Human Resources (HR) has a very important role in business development. Human resources who have relevant skills and competencies needed to carry out business tasks are valuable assets for the company. For this reason, the method used is to provide welfare programs to employees to maintain and improve the physical and mental conditions of employees so that their work productivity increases. In this study, Workplace Trust and Psychological Capital are used as independent variables that contribute to workplace well-being. In this study the sampling method used is purposive sampling. after taking 350 samples and then collecting data. The data analysis method used to examine the influence of workplace trust and psychological capital on workplace well-being is multiple linear regression analysis. The research results indicate a significant influence of the variables Workplace Trust and Psychological Capital on Workplace Well-Being, with a significance value of < 0.05.]]>

<![CDATA[The issue of unemployment in Indonesia remains high, especially among graduates of Senior High Schools (SMA) and Vocational High Schools (SMK). Although the number of SMA/SMK graduates has been increasing every year, not all of them can continue their education to higher education institutions. (PT). Data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) 2023 shows that the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) is dominated by middle school graduates, reaching 17.46%. This impacts the low Human Development Index (IPM), which is influenced by two main indicators: Life Expectancy at School (HLS) and Average Length of Schooling. (RLS). In Bojonegoro Regency, these two indicators show improvement, but there are still challenges in creating a quality workforce. To address this, the Double Track Program was introduced in East Java since 2018. Double Track is the term given to schools that offer two educational programs, namely formal education and entrepreneurship skills programs. This program aims to integrate academic education with vocational skills, providing practical skills to students who do not continue their education to higher education. This program is expected to enhance competencies and foster an entrepreneurial spirit among students.At SMAN 1 Dander Bojonegoro Regency, which has implemented this program, students receive training in five skill areas: culinary arts and fashion design. This program helps students prepare to enter the workforce and develop their own businesses after graduation.This research aims to analyze how the implementation of the Double Track Program at SMAN 1 Dander can enhance students' competencies, which ultimately contributes to reducing unemployment and improving the quality of human resources in the region.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the relationship between hopelessness and loneliness with future anxiety in college students. The method used is a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The research sample consisted of 200 students from various universities and domiciled in Yogyakarta. Data were collected through a questionnaire that measured the level of hopelessness, loneliness, and future anxiety. The research data were analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques. The results of hypothesis testing showed a significant positive relationship between hopelessness, loneliness and future anxiety with a significance of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R2) indicates that future anxiety can be explained by the hopelessness and loneliness variable by 46,2% explained by feelings about the future, loss of motivation, and imagining individuals in the future. This finding confirms that the more individuals experience hopelessness, the higher the future anxiety. This research is expected to provide insight into the relationship between hopelessness, loneliness and future anxiety in college students, as well as a reference for students in anticipating and dealing with their problems. ]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the differences in conflict management between male and female taekwondo athletes in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY). The research method used is a quantitative approach with a descriptive design. The sample consisted of 112 taekwondo athletes from various regencies/cities in DIY. Data were collected using a questionnaire that measured conflict management styles. The data were analyzed using the analysis of variance (ANOVA) technique. The hypothesis test results show a highly significant difference in conflict management with a significance value of 0.000. The findings reveal that female taekwondo athletes have higher conflict management scores compared to male athletes, with a mean score of 70.40 for females and 63.02 for males. This indicates that female taekwondo athletes possess better conflict management styles than male taekwondo athletes.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the relationship between self-awareness and self-adjustment in junior high school students in Kulon Progo Regency. This study used a correlational quantitative method with a sample of 104 students taken through cluster random sampling technique. The research instruments include a self-awareness scale that has been tested for validity and reliability, and a self-adjustment scale. The results of data analysis using Product Moment correlation technique showed a significant relationship between self-awareness and self-adjustment with a correlation coefficient of r=0.970r=0.970r=0.970 (p < 0.05). This finding indicates that self-awareness contributes significantly to students' ability to adjust, both in social and academic environments. The implication of this study shows the importance of developing self-awareness through training programs and reflective activities in schools to improve students' adjustment ability.]]>

<![CDATA[The goal of this study is to determine how coping mechanisms and work-life balance relate to one another among female instructors at SMAN 1 Bantul. A quantitative approach was taken in this investigation. Data based on the Likert Scale is gathered using the psychological scale. The study focuses on female instructors at SMAN 1 Bantul. The quantitative descriptive statistical method used in the data analysis technique necessitates that the results of data processing be presented as numerical values. The results of the hypothesis test showed a negative correlation between coping strategies and work-life balance among female teachers at SMAN 1 Bantul, with a correlation value of 0.749 and a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05). This means that as coping strategies increase, so does the teachers' ability to balance work and life.]]>
