Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of Living Qur’an in the Nyulur Pupulur Takziah tradition in Kampung Lembur Jero, Pabuaran District, Serang Regency. The study aims to describe the implementation of the tradition, identify Qur’anic values, and analyze community perceptions. The method used is descriptive qualitative research through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results show that this tradition is carried out through a rotating system in providing food for tahlilan activities from the first night until the seventh night. This practice reflects social solidarity and the collective awareness of the community. The Living Qur’an values contained in this tradition include ta‘āwun (mutual assistance), infaq (charitable giving), sincerity, and empathy, which are internalized in daily life. Community perceptions of this tradition tend to be positive because it is viewed as an integration of Islamic teachings and local culture. Thus, Nyulur Pupulur Takziah is a tangible manifestation of the Living Qur’an in the social practices of the community.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of digital competence, interpersonal communication, and organizational climate on employee performance at PLN UP3 Malang using a quantitative approach. The primary objective is to examine the causal relationship between variables through explanatory methods to empirically test hypotheses. The study population comprised all 89 employees of PLN UP3 Malang. This study attempts to fill a gap in the academic literature, which has rarely integrated these three variables within the context of state-owned energy companies, particularly at PLN UP3 Malang. The results indicate that these three factors contribute significantly to improving employee performance. These findings provide a strategic basis for HR management in designing sustainable human resource development policies. Academically, this study enriches understanding of the factors driving productivity in public organizations. Practically, the results can be applied through intensive digital training, strengthening team communication, and creating a work culture that supports employee innovation and participation. Thus, this study not only contributes to management science but also encourages sustainable organizational transformation at PLN UP3 Malang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies excuted by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in instilling character in students at SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta. This is useful to determine the extent of teacher success in realizing graduates with character through the values of integrity, independence, caring, and responsibility in academic and non-academic activities. The background of the study is based on the importance of character in the vocational school environment, where students need to be equipped with good religious, moral, and ethical values. The research method uses a qualitative approach with observation techniques, in-depth interviews with one of the PAI teachers, and analysis of documents related to the PAI curriculum. The results of the study indicate that the main strategies of PAI teachers which include habituation, role models, intensive guidance, and the role as a motivator provide quite effective results in instilling character such as discipline, empathy, independence, responsibility that can be applied through their daily activities. However, there are several challenges and obstacles experienced by teachers in carrying out this task such as limited facilities, integration of the religious curriculum with vocational subjects, differences in backgrounds between students, and low interest of some students in PAI subjects also require further innovation. The study concluded that a structured and adaptive Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teacher strategy can increase the effectiveness of character education at SMK Negeri 2 Surakarta. The implementation of this strategy demonstrates that character education is not merely theoretical but also integrated into the learning process and social interactions at school. This investigation contributes to the development of Islamic education in vocational schools, with suggestions for extended investigation into the long-term implications of student behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of relative advantage, top management support, trading partner pressure, service provider support, and technological innovation on the adoption of cloud accounting among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Soloraya region. This research employs a quantitative approach with a causal associative design. The data used are primary data collected through questionnaires distributed to 107 respondents using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with SmartPLS 4 software. The results indicate that all independent variables—relative advantage, top management support, trading partner pressure, service provider support, and technological innovation—have a positive and significant effect on the adoption of cloud accounting among MSMEs in Soloraya. This finding suggests that technological, organizational, and environmental factors play a crucial role in driving MSMEs’ digital transformation. The study implies that enhancing digital literacy, strengthening managerial support, and fostering collaboration with business partners and service providers are essential to accelerate the adoption of cloud-based accounting systems. This research is expected to contribute theoretically to the literature on technology adoption and provide practical insights for MSME practitioners, service providers, and policymakers in designing strategies for MSME digitalization in Indonesia.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has transformed educational practices, demanding learning approaches that are adaptive, meaningful, and relevant to 21st-century learners. This study investigates the implementation of deep learning based Islamic Education at SMK Batik 1 Surakarta, focusing on its impact, challenges, and supporting strategies. The research employed a qualitative with a phenomenological approved. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and documentation, and were analyzed using an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the implementation of deep learning emphasizes three core principles: mindful, meaningful, and joyful learning. Teachers function as facilitators by applying active learning models such as Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Project Based Learning (PjBL) to enhance critical thinking, collaboration, and student engagement. The approach strengthens students’ religious character and learning motivation. However, its implementation faces several challenges, including limited digital infrastructure, restrictions on gadget use, and limited instructional time. To address these issues, teachers adopt adaptive strategies such as alternative learning media, peer tutoring, and the integration of Islamic values into routine school activities. Overall, the success of this approach depends on teacher creativity and collaborative support from the school community..

Abstract

One of the problems faced by late adolescents is excessive and uncontrolled internet use which has the potential to cause Problematic Internet Use (PIU) which will impact daily life activities. This study aims to determine the effect of Self-Control and Family Functioning on PIU in late adolescents in Karawang Regency. The researcher used a quantitative approach that emphasizes numerical data analysis through statistical techniques. Respondents in this study numbered 400 late adolescents aged 17-21 years who were selected using non-probability sampling with convenience sampling technique. The instruments in this study were measured using three scales: the Brief Self-Control Scale (BSCS), the Family Assessment Device-General Functioning (FAD-GF), and the Problematic Internet Use Questionnaire-Revised (PIUQ-R). Data analysis used multiple regression tests using SPSS version 25.0 for Windows. The results of this study indicate that Self-Control and Family Functioning partially and simultaneously influence PIU by 0.000 (p <0.05). The regression coefficient is negative, meaning that the higher the Self-Control and Family Functioning, the lower the PIU. Self-Control and Family Functioning contributed 51.7% to PIU. Therefore, improving individual Self-Control and optimizing Family Functioning could be potential efforts to minimize PIU in late adolescence, particularly in the context of this study's target group.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic financial inclusion in moderating the relationship between Islamic financial literacy and people's decisions to use Islamic financial services. Amidst the growth of the global Islamic economy, Indonesia faces the challenge of a significant gap between the level of Islamic financial literacy and inclusion. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method of Islamic financial service users. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) to test the moderating effect. The results of the literature synthesis indicate that high Islamic financial literacy does not automatically increase the decision to use Islamic services without adequate accessibility through financial inclusion. Islamic financial inclusion is predicted to strengthen the positive influence of literacy on consumer decision-making. This study provides a theoretical contribution to the development of consumer behavior theory in Islamic economics and provides practical implications for regulators in formulating a national strategy for Islamic financial inclusion.

Abstract

Watu gilesan jagung (the corn grinding stone) is a historical relic that had an important use in its time, namely for grinding corn kernels into corn rice or smaller grains. As technology develops, watu gilesan jagung are becoming obsolete. Some were even damaged or thrown away. In fact, watu gilesan jagung has symbolic values that are relevant for education. This research aims to describe, reveal the existence, outline symbolic values that are relevant for education and recommend conservation policies. The research approach used is qualitative. Data was collected using observation, interviews, FGD and document collection techniques. Data analysis uses interactive models and the validity of the data is tested using triangulation. The research results show several important things. First, watu gilesan jagung has a unique description/profile and is different from other relics. Second, the existence of watu gilesan jagung is considered threatened, because many are thrown away, damaged or removed because they are considered unusable. Third, watu gilesan jagung has values that are relevant to education, namely the value of religiosity, social values and the value of struggle. Apart from that, there is also learning potential that can be applied, namely appropriate technology and character education. Fourth, for conservation policy recommendations, we suggest that watu gilesan jagung can be registered as a cultural heritage object. However, if this recommendation is not acceptable, we propose another conservation policy recommendation, namely an integrated approach, including integration with education, tourism, community and social media.
