Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in elementary schools not only focuses on the development of cognitive aspects, but also plays an important role in the formation of students' attitudes, morals, and characters. The values of honesty and responsibility are the main foundations that must be instilled early on, because they form noble morals, integrity, and readiness to face life's challenges. This study aims to examine PAI teachers' strategies in fostering and internalizing the values of honesty and responsibility in elementary school students. The research method uses a literature study by reviewing literature in the form of books, articles, and previous research results. The results of the study showed several effective strategies, including: providing role models, getting students used to behaving honestly and disciplined, giving advice through the exemplary story of the Prophet Muhammad, implementing contextual learning that links religious values with real life, giving simple responsibilities to students, and carrying out character-based evaluations that emphasize attitudinal aspects in addition to academics. PAI teachers have a dual role as moral role models, motivators, and facilitators who encourage students to practice the values of honesty and responsibility through intra- and extracurricular activities. This study concludes that consistent, integrated, and sustainable strategies can foster honest, responsible, and noble personalities of students, so that a smart, moral, and spiritual generation is formed.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student engagement, collaboration, and learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning on the topic of recognizing the Asmaul Husana (the Names of Allah) using the reading aloud and index card matching strategies in second-grade students at SD Istiqamah 2x11 Enam Lingkung. This research is a CAR (Care of Action) conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. For data collection, the researchers used techniques that included taking notes during the learning process and evaluating learning outcomes. The collected data were then analyzed, followed by conclusions, verification, and reflection on each cycle. Based on the research results, the researchers concluded that the implementation of the reading aloud and index card matching strategies can improve student engagement, collaboration, and learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning on the topic of recognizing the Asmaul Husana (the Names of Allah) in second-grade students at SD Istiqamah 2x11 Enam Lingkung. This study found that engagement, collaboration, and learning outcomes increased. In cycle I, student activity reached 70%, in cycle II it increased to 91.67%. Student cooperation in cycle I reached 75%, in cycle II it became 95.83%. Learning outcomes in cycle I reached 62.5%, in cycle II it increased to 95%. Based on this research, teachers in delivering material can apply learning strategies that are relevant to the material so that children do not feel bored and easily understand the material presented by the teacher.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the development of early childhood religious values through the use of audio-visual learning media at Dharma Wanita Kindergarten, Lembah Melintang District. The background of this research departs from the low development of children's religious values which is characterized by a lack of prayer habits, regularity in prayer, and understanding of daily prayers. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles with the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 15 children consisting of 7 girls and 8 boys aged 4-5 years. Data were collected through observation and documentation and then analyzed descriptively. The results showed a significant increase in the development of children's religious values. In pre-action, only 7 children (46.66%) were classified as starting to develop and 8 children (53.34%) had not developed. After applying audio visual media, in cycle I there were 4 children (26.67%) developing as expected and 11 children (73.33%) began to develop. In cycle II, it increased to 9 children (60%) developing very well and 6 children (40%) developing as expected. Thus, the use of audio-visual media is proven to be effective in improving the development of religious values in early childhood.

Abstract

In Islamic teachings, zakat is worship which is fard 'Ain for every Muslim who is able and has excess assets. How to issue zakat has different provisions, both Zakat Fitrah and Zakat Mal. The purpose of this study is to explain in understanding the material of zakat and its provisions through the application of the Market Place Activity (MPA) model. The subjects of the study were the sixth grade students of SDN 12 Tiumang, Dharmasraya Regency, totaling 20 people with different socio- economic backgrounds. The results of this study indicate a significant change, namely in the first cycle of students who completed as many as 10 people or 50.0% classically, the second cycle completed 13 people or 65.0% and in Cycle III 17 people completed or 85.0% completely. classical, and it was also shown that there was an increase in student activity, namely in cycle I and Cycle II only on many criteria and cycle III on many criteria. Based on the results of this study, the researchers concluded that the Market Place Activity (MPA) model can improve students' ability to understand the material about paying zakat.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the demonstration method can improve student learning skills with prayer material in Tk Juita kinali children in 2024. This class action research uses the demonstration method by practicing or showing children a process, a situation that is being studied so that the process of children's acceptance of the lesson will be more deeply memorable. This research is a PTK with 3 cycles through 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were 30 children. The hypothesis proposed is that if the demonstration method can be used properly, it can improve children's learning skills in PAI subjects in juita kindergarten children in 2024. The success indicator is 75% with a KKM of 75. Data collection techniques with observation. Data analysis techniques with formulas to determine the average value and percentage. The results showed that learning skills in cycle I amounted to 44% or 14 children with KKM 75, cycle II amounted to 56% or 18 children with KKM 75 and in cycle III amounted to 81% or 26 children for prayer rukun material and amounted to 87.5% or 28 children for prayer sunah material with KKM 75. The increase in children's learning skills in cycle I to cycle II amounted to 12% with KKM 75, an increase in skills in cycle II to cycle III with prayer rukun material by 25% and in prayer sunah material by 31.5%.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' understanding of faith in Prophets and Messengers through the singing method (Joyful Learning). The background of the research is based on the low learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN 07 Padang Matinggi, where only 45% of students were able to achieve completeness on the daily test of memorizing material 25 Prophets and Messengers. This happens because learning is still dominated by the lecture method which makes students quickly bored and less motivated. This study used a Classroom Action Research (PTK) approach which was carried out in two cycles. The research subjects were 34 students, consisting of 14 boys and 20 girls. Data were collected through tests, observations, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed a significant improvement. In the pre-cycle learning completeness was only 45%, increased to 79% in cycle I, and reached 91% in cycle II. This proves that the singing method is effective in creating a fun learning atmosphere, increasing motivation, and making it easier for students to memorize 25 Prophets and Messengers. Thus, the Joyful Learning method is worth applying in PAI learning, especially in the material of faith in Prophets and Messengers.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' prayer practice skills through the application of the demonstration method in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in class III SD Negeri 24 Biaro. The background of this study is the low ability of students in practicing prayer, both in terms of reading and movement. The method used was Classroom Action Research (PTK) with the subject of 19 students. The research was conducted in several cycles consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were obtained through observation sheets of teacher and student activities, as well as the results of prayer practice assessments which were analyzed using the percentage of learning completeness with a KKM of 75. The results showed an increase in prayer practice skills from cycle to cycle. In cycle I, students who were complete only reached 44% with most students still passive, less focused, and embarrassed to practice prayer movements. After improvements were made through the demonstration method in cycles II and III, the number of completed students increased significantly to reach more than 90%. Thus, it can be concluded that the demonstration method is effective in improving students' prayer practice skills, as well as making PAI learning more interactive, varied, and meaningful.

Abstract

This study discusses the application of the Make A Match method in PAI learning in class IV SD Negeri 39 Pasar Gompong on the material of recognizing the names of Angels and their duties. The background of this research is the low interest of students in learning so that methods are needed that can make students more active in learning activities. The formulation of research problems includes: 1) how is the application of Make A Match method in PAI learning, and 2) how are the students' learning outcomes after the application of the method. The type of research used is class action research (PTK). The Make A Match method was applied in two cycles, in the form of a game to find pairs of cards held by students, thus encouraging students to be active, work together, and understand the material. The results showed an improvement in the process and learning outcomes. Student learning activities in cycle I were in the good category, increasing to very good in cycle II. The average pre-test score was 36.875 with 12.5% completeness, increased in the first cycle post-test to 66.25 with 56.25% completeness, and in the second cycle post-test to 85.625 with 75% completeness.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to read hijaiyah letters in early childhood through the use of flash card media in Kindergarten.B Berkah Al Qudsyiah. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method which is carried out in two cycles with four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects amounted to 17 children in group B. Data were collected through observation and analyzed descriptively quantitatively. Pre-cycle results showed that most children were in the undeveloped category in the ability to mention and read a series of hijaiyah letters. After the action in cycle I, there was an increase although there were still children who had not reached the optimal category. Improvements were made in cycle II through intensive repetition, variations of games with flash cards, and providing motivation. The results showed a significant increase, the majority of children were able to mention and read hijaiyah letters in the developing as expected and developing very well categories, and there were no more children in the undeveloped category. Thus, the use of flash card media is proven effective to improve the ability to read hijaiyah letters while creating a more enjoyable learning atmosphere for early childhood.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning achievement through the use of learning video media in the subject of Basic Human Needs in class XI Nursing 3 Integrated SMK S Gema Nusantara Bukittinggi. The background of this study is the low student learning outcomes in online learning, where most students have difficulty understanding material that is only delivered through textbooks. This study used the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method which was carried out in three cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The instruments used include lesson plans, teaching materials, LKPD, evaluation tests, and student questionnaires. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, student activity observations, and score documentation, then analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results showed an increase in student learning achievement in each cycle. In cycle I, learning completeness only reached 74.17%, increased to 77.30% in cycle II, and reached 88.33% in cycle III. Thus, learning video media proved to be effective in improving student learning achievement.
