Abstract

 The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of quality of work-life, work motivation, and job satisfaction simultaneously on employee performance at McDonald’s’s. The research employs a quantitative approach with an associative method. The sample consists of 71 employees, selected using a total sampling or saturated sampling technique. Data analysis includes validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, t-test, and F-test. The findings indicate that quality of work-life has a significant effect on employee performance at McDonald’s’s, as evidenced by the result of t-count (6.779) > t-table (1.995), meaning hypothesis H1 is accepted. The correlation coefficient is 0.632, which falls into the strong category, with a contribution of 40%. The linear regression equation is Y=20.097+0.329X1, meaning that each one-point increase in quality of work-life will improve employee performance by 0.329 points. Furthermore, work motivation also has a significant effect on employee performance, as shown by t-count (6.154) > t-table (1.995), meaning hypothesis H2 is accepted. The correlation coefficient is 0.595, which falls into the moderate category, with a contribution of 35.4%. The linear regression equation is Y=24.260+0.719X2, meaning that each one-point increase in work motivation will improve employee performance by 0.719 points. Job satisfaction likewise has a significant effect on employee performance, as indicated by t-count (8.114) > t-table (1.995), meaning hypothesis H3 is accepted. The correlation coefficient is 0.699, which falls into the strong category, with a contribution of 48.8%. The linear regression equation is Y=22.067+0.485X3, meaning that each one-point increase in job satisfaction will improve employee performance by 0.485 points. Finally, quality of work-life, work motivation, and job satisfaction together have a significant effect on employee performance at McDonald’s’s, as evidenced by F-count (37.655) > F-table (2.742), meaning hypothesis H4 is accepted. The coefficient of determination shows that the three variables collectively explain 62.8% of the variance in employee performance. The linear regression equation is Y=12.787+0.140X1+0.290X2+0.312X3. The managerial implications of these findings emphasize the need for management to integrate human resource policies holistically. The synergy of these three variables forms a strategic foundation for an organizational culture oriented toward quality service, thereby not only enhancing individual productivity but also strengthening McDonald’s’s competitive advantage in the fast-food industry.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze the influence of the Physical Work Environment and Salary on Employee Performance, both partially and simultaneously, at KSP Credit Union Bererod Gratia East Jakarta Center. The research background is based on the condition of the physical work environment that still requires improvement in several aspects and a relatively uniform salary structure that does not fully consider the workload and responsibilities of each position. The type of research used is associative quantitative with a survey method. The research population consisted of all 60 permanent employees, all of whom were used as the sample (census). Data was collected through a Likert scale 1-5 questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS 27 software. The hypothesis testing results show that: (1) Partially, the Physical Work Environment has no significant effect on Employee Performance (sig. 0.801 > 0.05). (2) Partially, Salary has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (sig. 0.001 < 0.05). (3) Simultaneously, the Physical Work Environment and Salary together have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance (F sig. 0.000 < 0.05) with a contribution of 35.4% (R Square = 0.354). Based on these findings, it is concluded that although the physical work environment is not yet the main individual driver, the combination of improving the quality of the physical work environment and a fair and competitive salary system is an effective strategy for improving employee performance. The suggestions provided are that management needs to review the salary structure based on workload and responsibilities, as well as periodically maintain and improve physical work environment facilities, while still paying attention to other non-financial factors that influence performance.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to analyze the influence of work discipline and work environment on employee performance at PT Alfa Goldline Realty, South Tangerang. Data were collected through direct observation, questionnaires, and interviews, using an associative quantitative approach with a questionnaire comprising 10 statements on work discipline, 10 statements on work environment, and 10 statements on employee performance, distributed to 100 employees. The data were analyzed using the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) for Macbook Version 23 through validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, coefficient tests, linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results produced the regression model Y = 7.870 + 0.202 X₁ + 0.552 X₂, with an R Square value of 0.613, indicating that work discipline and work environment simultaneously contribute 61.3% to employee performance, while the remaining 38.7% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of recruitment and selection on employee performance at PT. Bima Sakti Logistik, East Jakarta. This study employs a quantitative method with an associative approach. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling, involving 58 respondents. Data analysis techniques include validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results show that recruitment has a significant effect on employee performance, with a coefficient of determination of 19.6% and hypothesis testing indicating that the calculated t value >  t table (3.695 > 1.672). Selection also has a significant effect on employee performance, with a coefficient of determination of 33.9% and a calculated t value >  t table (5.356 > 1.672). Simultaneously, recruitment and selection have a significant effect on employee performance, as indicated by the regression equation Y = 14.086 + 0.158X₁ + 0.476X₂. The coefficient of determination is 36.2%, while the remaining 63.8% is influenced by other factors. Hypothesis testing shows that the calculated F value >  F table (15.625 > 3.16).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Organizational Culture and Job Satisfaction on Employee Performance. The research employs a quantitative approach using a causal associative method. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to employees who served as research respondents, and subsequently analyzed using linear regression analysis, correlation analysis, t-tests, and F-tests to examine the effects of each variable both partially and simultaneously. The findings reveal that the Pearson correlation coefficient between Organizational Culture (X1) and Employee Performance (Y) is 0.848, with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. This result indicates the existence of a positive and significant relationship between organizational culture and employee performance. Furthermore, the Pearson correlation coefficient between Job Satisfaction (X2) and Employee Performance (Y) is 0.864, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, demonstrating a positive and significant relationship between job satisfaction and employee performance. Job Satisfaction is also proven to have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, as indicated by the simultaneous correlation coefficient (R) of 0.892. This value falls within the range of 0.80–1.00, which signifies a very strong relationship. The calculated F-value is 71.670 with a significance level of 0.000. Since the significance value is less than 0.05, H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted. This result indicates that Organizational Culture and Job Satisfaction simultaneously have a significant effect on Employee Performance. The high F-value suggests that the regression model has a strong ability to explain variations in Employee Performance when both independent variables are considered together. Therefore, it can be concluded that improving employee performance requires strengthening a positive organizational culture and enhancing employees’ job satisfaction..

Abstract

The background of this issue is to discuss the tradition of tolak bala in the Ranto Natas community, East Panyabungan District, Mandailing Natal Regency. The main issues in this paper are: the history and basis of the tolak bala tradition, and how the tolak bala tradition is carried out. The purpose of this study is to reveal the history and basis of the tolak bala tradition, and to reveal how the tolak bala tradition is carried out. In this study, the author used field research with a descriptive qualitative research method to describe the tolak bala activities by conducting observations, interviews, and documentation, then analyzing and reducing the data obtained. The author found that there was a study of the Living Qur'an in the implementation of the tolak bala tradition. The results of this study can be summarized as follows. First, before the Tolak Bala was held, there had been pests on the community's crops. Second, there had been severe flooding. After these events, the religious scholar Mr. Ali Mukhtar and community leaders in the village held a meeting to decide to hold a recitation of the Yasin every Monday night. With the hope that the recitation of Yasin would protect the village and keep it safe from calamities and disturbances. Third, landslides. That is why the tradition of warding off evil by reciting Yasin is still practiced regularly every Monday night.

Abstract

This study investigates the performance of a three-phase full-wave controlled rectifier using thyristors, focusing on the influence of firing angle on output voltage and current stability. The simulation was conducted using MATLAB/Simulink, with measurement blocks to observe three-phase input and output waveforms. The results show that the rectifier provides a stable DC output with minimal ripple, and the firing angle effectively controls the average output voltage. Input voltage and current remain balanced, with RMS and standard deviation values indicating consistent system behavior. These findings demonstrate the suitability of controlled three-phase rectifiers for industrial applications requiring reliable DC power conversion, and provide insight for optimizing thyristor triggering in practical systems.

Abstract

A rectifier is a power electronics circuit that functions to convert alternating current (AC) voltage into direct current (DC) voltage required by various electronic devices. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of the output voltage and the voltage across the diodes in a single-phase full-wave bridge rectifier circuit using MATLAB Simulink software. The research method used is a simulation method by designing a circuit model consisting of an AC voltage source, four diodes arranged as a bridge rectifier, a load, and a filter capacitor. The simulation results show that the input voltage has a sinusoidal waveform with a peak value of approximately 120 V. After the rectification process, the output voltage becomes a pulsating DC voltage with a peak value of about 93 V, which is influenced by the voltage drop across the diodes. The addition of a filter capacitor is able to reduce the voltage ripple, resulting in a more stable load voltage in the range of 84 V to 87 V. The results of this study indicate that the full-wave bridge rectifier circuit is capable of converting AC voltage into DC voltage effectively, and MATLAB Simulink simulation can be used as an effective analysis tool for studying the characteristics of power electronics circuits before implementation in real systems.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of a half-wave rectifier circuit through simulations using Voltsim with variations in load values ​​and filter capacitor capacitance. The parameters observed include the average and RMS output voltage (Vout), output current (Iout), and ripple voltage (Vripple). Simulations were performed at a 10 V input voltage with no capacitor and with varying capacitance values. The results show that the use of a capacitor significantly increases the average voltage and reduces ripple. The larger the capacitance value, the smaller the ripple voltage and the more stable the output voltage. Load variations affect the output current, where the larger the load, the smaller the current.
