Dawatuna: Journal of Communication and Islamic Broadcasting  is a peer-reviewed national journal on communication, dakwah, broadcasting, education and Islamic studies managed by Institut Agama Islam Nasional (IAI-N) Laa Roiba Bogor in cooperation with Masyarakat Ekonomi Syariah (MES) and Intelectual Association for Islamic Studies (IAFORIS) .  This journal focused on communication, dakwah, broadcasting, education, and Islamic studies  through the publication of articles, research reports, and book reviews. The Journal is published The Journal is published four time a year on January, April, July,  and October. The aim of the journal is to disseminate the communication, dakwah, broadcasting, and Islamic studies researches done by researchers. Specifically, the journal will deal with topics, including but not limited to: Broadcasting, Communication, Dakwah & Islamic propagation, Islamic education,  Islamic studies, Islamic education, and other related issues. Abstract

Naila Rahmananda, 1910631190184, 2023, The Influence of Sales Promotion Content Upload on @lashboss.id Instagram Account on Purchasing Decisions, Communication Studies Program, Singaperbangsa University Karawang.Currently, the development of the beauty industry in Indonesia has now begun to rampant and is growing very rapidly, one of which is in the field of skincare, especially eyelash serum. Through uploading sales promotion content carried out by Instagram @lashboss.id, it becomes the right combination in making purchasing decisions by @lashboss.id Instagram followers. The purpose of this study is how much influence the upload of sales promotion content on the @lashboss.id Instagram account has on purchasing decisions. In this study using the AISAS theory (Attention, Interest, Search, Action and Share) and the method used is quantitative method with descriptive research with sample withdrawal using simple random sampling with the number of respondents as many as 100 instagram followers @lashboss.id and the focus of this research is on instagram followers @lashboss.id who are female. Based on the research results obtained, Sales Promotion Content Upload has a significant effect on Purchasing Decisions with a value of 65.2%, the remaining 34.8% is influenced by other variables not examined.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the role that instructional communication plays in the learning process. This study use explanatory research methodologies in conjunction with a quantitative methodology. The study's findings demonstrate the significance of communication as a fundamental human need and as a means of communicating with others in order to exchange experiences, opinions, feelings, knowledge, and guidance. In order to transmit educational messages during the learning process, effective communication is also a crucial component of educational communication. Effective educational communication is defined as one in which the material presented by teachers is well-received, easily comprehended, and results in favorable student feedback. This research concludes that educators must acquire "communication science," as well as the fundamentals of educational communication, successful communication, intercultural communication, and the components, functions, and aims of communication. Because teachers' capacity for effective communication plays a major role in determining the effectiveness of education.

Abstract

Da'wah patterns have changed over time. Written sermons have now become more important and effective than oral sermons. Especially for works that contain preaching messages and social media. The benefit of da'wah using this model is that as Rasulullah SAW once said, "Indeed, the ink of the ulama is better than the blood of the martyrs", does not mean that the content of the da'wah will disappear even though the preacher or writer has died. Analysis of the impact of media on the growth of Islamic Da'wah is the aim of this research. This research approach uses qualitative techniques derived from actual field data. It is proven that Allah SWT requires da'wah to other humans when He states in the QS. Saba':28, "And we did not send you but to all mankind as a bearer of good news and as a warning, but most people do not know." The study presented in the findings of this paper shows that the use of mass media as a channel for da'wah offers advantages. This shows the importance of media involvement in spreading religious beliefs among society.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to learn how the ancient growth and development of the communication sciences made such a widespread development in the present era. The study employed a library study method by conducting a qualitative study method using a descriptive method. The study gathered data available from journals and books associated with the growth and development of communication sciences. The technique employed in this data collection involves recording and summarizing a number of obvious data sources. Analysis in this data collection suggests that the growth and development of communication sciences go through many processes in the stages of its development. The results of this study suggest that the growth and development of the communications science are constantly changing over the years and is thus growing rapidly and broadly in the present era.

Abstract

At the beginning of its development, the hospital was an institution that functioned for social purposes, but with the existence of private hospitals, the institution was more referred to as an industry engaged in the field of health services by carrying out management based on business entity management. As a business entity, hospitals must be able to create loyalty from patients. The aim of creating patient loyalty is that hospitals can provide a medical experience, improve service quality, and survive in intense competition between hospitals. This research aims to determine the effect of service quality and marketing mix on patient satisfaction at Lira Medika Karawang Hospital. This research uses quantitative methods, explanatory positivistic approach, and cross sectional study design. The population in this study were 9,496 patients. The sample was selected based on random sampling technique with 100 patients. Data collection is done by filling out a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques were carried out using univariate, bivariate and multivariate methods with linier regression. The research results show that partially service quality has a positive and significant effect on patient satisfaction. Marketing Mix has a positive and significant effect on patient satisfaction. Service quality and marketing mix simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on patient satisfaction at Lira Medika Hospital Karawang. The test results of coefficient of determination obtained value R2 = 0,225, meaning that the effect/contribution service quality to patient satisfaction was 22,5%. The test results of coefficient of determination obtained value R2 = 0,254, meaning that the effect/contribution marketing mix to patient satisfaction was 25,4%. The test results of coefficient of determination obtained value R2 = 0,16, meaning that the effect/contribution service quality and marketing mix to patient satisfaction was 16,0%.

Abstract

This research aims to allay concerns regarding "the role of da'wah journalism in implementing good da'wah messages" included in the media management curriculum. The aim of this research is to understand, identify, and provide insight into how a journalist can effectively adopt ethical discourse. to provide a clear example of how a journalist should apply sound preaching advice based on research findings. a journalist can be effective using the following criteria: must come from Allah SWT, must uphold all human rights there must be balance in every action, and there must be a balance between ideals and reality. Therefore, there are several things that need to be understood and noticed. In particular, writing with a preaching nuance will be consumed by the media, which will determine whether it is a specifically Islamic article or not.

Abstract

This journal aims to investigate the concept of messages in communication, analyze the message communication process, and identify its influence on human understanding and interaction. By understanding the role of messages in communication, we can become more effective communicators and be able to better manage messages in various contexts. The method used in this research uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to find out the most appropriate method. This research applies three stages, namely: planning, implementation. In the communication process, messages have a key role in transmitting information, building relationships, influencing behavior, and increasing understanding. The importance of good understanding of messages in the context of communication is very relevant in various aspects of human life

Abstract

Distribution Outlet (Distro) is currently an attraction for teenagers who like local products through social media promotions to support the growth of Small and Medium Industries (IKM). As time goes by, business people are required to be more innovative, especially when it comes to product promotion via social media. In this case, Leech Store Distro uses social media Instagram as a promotional medium. The formulation of the problem in this research is how to implement aspects Share, Optimize, Manage, and Engage on the use of social media Instagram as promotional media for Distro @leech_store?. The aim of this research is to determine the use of Instagram social media on the @leech_store Instagram account as a promotional medium with four aspects, namely Share, Optimize, Manage, and Engage. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The informants in this study consisted of 2 key informants (Instagram admin @leech_store) and 2 supporting informants (followers @leech_store). The results of this research show that at stage Share, Distro Leech Store has a background in using Instagram to open two-way communication between followers with Distro. On Stage Optimize, Leech Store Distro checks the features mention and tags manually. Level Manage covers media monitoring by checking insight regarding the development of numbers followers manually. At the level of Engage namely building cooperation with brand influencer and Automotive Community.

Abstract

The presence of leaders is essential for a country or a community to keep peace from order in society. The Qur 'an has many scriptures that discuss leadership and its characteristics. This suggests that leadership characteristics are important to be met as a leader. But now there are many differences in understanding the concept of how to be a good leader, resulting in disunity between societies. In this case, researchers are trying to find out how the concept of islamic leadership is in the perspective of Khalid Basalamah. The study uses a qualitative method to approach interviews with the person and analyze his videos about islamic leadership in youtube. To be the ideal leader there should be seven ideal leaders' criteria of being equitable, firm, forgiving, charitable, possessing vast learning, being physically and spiritually healthy, and courageously defending truth

Abstract

Currently, the development of science and technology is increasingly rapid. Reform efforts in the application of technological achievements were carried out in various fields, especially in the mission sector. Media is a tool or means used by society to convey information. In this context, the use of media is very important to make it easier for people to convey important messages. For this reason, missionaries have developed new strategies that use digital and non-digital media to convey missions.In this article, we focus on libraries. In this modern era, many missionaries use technological media to spread missions to various groups, not only within the country but also abroad to all corners of the world.
