Abstract

Early reading activities are the foundation for mastering language skills in elementary schools. This study aims to describe the implementation of early reading activities in first-grade students of SDN 78 Balang and analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors of its implementation. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with teachers and first-grade students as subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that 75% of students have recognized vowels and consonants, but 30% still have difficulty reading independently, only being able to read when spelled. Supporting factors include the involvement of KKN students, teacher support, and the motivation of some students. Inhibiting factors are differences in ability, low motivation of some students, and minimal parental involvement. Practical implications, more personalized learning strategies and increased communication between schools and parents are needed to improve students' early reading outcomes..

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of learning models with realistic mathematical approaches to the math skills of fifth grade slow learner students at SDN Sambung Jawa 3 Makassar. This research is a quasi-experimental study with the type of research of Single Subject Research (SSR). The design used in this study is the design of A1-B-A2. The test used in this study is a written test. The technique used is using descriptive statistics and presented in the form of tables and graphs. Components used to analyze data are analysis in conditions and analysis between conditions. The results obtained in this study indicate that the learning model with a realistic mathematical approach that is applied effectively to mathematical skills in the class V slow learner students in SDN Sambung Jawa 3 Makassar. This is indicated by the percentage overlap which is 0%. Slow learner students who learn math skills (addition and subtraction) are able to understand the concepts of addition and subtraction, find solutions to the problem of the story correctly and are able to calculate correctly. The application of the learning model with a realistic mathematical approach gives progress to the mathematical skills of the slow learner students, namely students become more active and critical in solving a problem (math problem)

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to design and develop a collaborative learning model that integrates coding activities and the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) within technical vocational education as an effort to strengthen students’ twenty-first-century competencies. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach consisting of five core phases: needs analysis, model design, expert validation, limited classroom implementation, and effectiveness evaluation. Data were collected through surveys, interviews, classroom observations, and assessments of students’ competency achievements. The findings indicate that the developed model effectively enhances essential learner competencies, including digital literacy, creative problem-solving, critical thinking, communication abilities, and team collaboration skills. The integration of coding and AI supports learners in deepening their technical understanding, particularly in basic programming, logical analysis, data processing, and the application of intelligent systems to complete project-based tasks. Results from the needs analysis reveal a clear disparity between students’ existing competencies and the technological skills required by industry, reinforcing the necessity of a learning model that combines computational skills with strong collaborative practices. Expert validation provided constructive input regarding the feasibility of the model structure, the suitability of assessment instruments, and the relevance of AI integration within the vocational context. Limited implementation demonstrated measurable improvements in students’ performance, especially in designing technical solutions using coding and operating AI features such as automation, data classification, and intelligent recommendation systems. The final evaluation confirms that the model does not only strengthen learners’ technical capability but also fosters active, contextual, and industry-relevant learning experiences. The integration of this learning model is considered a strategic initiative for addressing the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0. The developed model is recommended for broader application and further enhancement within adaptive vocational curricula responsive to future technological advancements. This research contributes significantly to vocational institutions by offering an innovative digital technology based instructional framework. Abstract

Abstract. Significant changes in the world of work and rapid technological advances require vocational graduates to master 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity. The Independent Learning and Independent Campus (MBKM) program is a transformative innovation implemented across all vocational higher education institutions in Indonesia. This study aims to comprehensively analyze the differences in MBKM implementation in developing 21st-century skills across three strategic vocational disciplines: technology, health, and economics. The study method used was a systematic literature review of 30 recent journals and academic documents to examine the dynamics, strategies, challenges, and unique achievements of each field. The results show fundamental differences in the implementation of MBKM in each vocational study program based on curriculum characteristics, industry partnerships, and institutional responses to the unique needs of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era. Contextual recommendations are proposed to optimize the acceleration of 21st-century competencies in vocational education in Indonesia. Abstract

Pendidikan kejuruan (Vocational Education and Training/VET), khususnya Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK), dituntut untuk beradaptasi secara fundamental terhadap tuntutan Industri 4.0 dengan melahirkan lulusan yang memiliki kompetensi di luar keahlian teknis, terutama Kreativitas dan Inovasi. Penelitian ini menyajikan Tinjauan Sistematis dan Sintesis Metodologi Campuran (Mixed-Methods Systematic Review/MMSR) terhadap 38 studi internasional bereputasi, yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis (1) seberapa signifikan pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Keterampilan Abad Ke-21 (21CSLM) terhadap Kreativitas siswa (RQ1), (2) seberapa signifikan pengaruhnya terhadap Inovasi siswa (RQ2), dan (3) bagaimana persepsi siswa dan guru terhadap efektivitas dan tantangan penerapannya (RQ3).Hasil Meta-Analisis (untuk RQ1 dan RQ2) menunjukkan pengaruh 21CSLM, khususnya Project-Based Learning (PjBL) dan Problem-Based Learning (PBL), yang sangat besar dan signifikan terhadap kedua variabel hasil. Effect Size (Hedges’ ) gabungan untuk Kreativitas mencapai 1.15 dan untuk Inovasi mencapai 0.85, yang mengindikasikan bahwa intervensi ini bersifat transformasional. Analisis moderator lebih lanjut menegaskan bahwa efektivitas ini sangat menonjol dalam konteks Asia Tenggara dan pada subjek Teknik/Teknologi. Sementara itu, Sintesis Tematik (untuk RQ3) mengungkapkan bahwa meskipun terdapat persepsi positif dari siswa dan guru mengenai pengembangan keterampilan 4C, implementasinya dibayangi oleh tantangan sistemik. Hambatan utama adalah kesenjangan kompetensi guru yang tidak memiliki pengalaman industri yang memadai, yang menghasilkan proyek pembelajaran yang kurang autentik, dan masalah ketidakselarasan asesmen (misalignment) akibat ketiadaan rubrik yang divalidasi untuk mengukur Kreativitas dan Inovasi yang kompleks.Secara keseluruhan, 21CSLM terbukti sebagai kerangka pedagogis yang sangat efektif untuk VET. Namun, potensi penuh model ini hanya dapat direalisasikan melalui reformasi kebijakan yang berfokus pada pengembangan profesional guru VET, khususnya adopsi kerangka Technology, Andragogy, and Work Content Knowledge (TAWOCK), serta pengembangan sistem asesmen berbasis kompetensi yang valid untuk mengukur hasil non-teknis.

Abstract

Efektivitas penerapan pembelajaran daring dan model blended learning dalam meningkatkan kompetensi siswa abad 21, mencakup keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, kolaborasi, komunikasi, serta literasi digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan menelaah hasil-hasil penelitian nasional terbitan lima tahun terakhir. Analisis dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi temuan-temuan empiris terkait efektivitas masing-masing model pembelajaran serta faktor yang memengaruhi keberhasilannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran daring mampu meningkatkan kemandirian belajar, literasi digital, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa melalui fleksibilitas waktu belajar dan akses yang luas terhadap sumber belajar digital. Namun, kendala seperti keterbatasan jaringan internet, kesiapan teknologi, dan rendahnya kemampuan digital siswa masih menjadi faktor penghambat. Sementara itu, model blended learning terbukti lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kolaborasi, komunikasi, kreativitas, dan motivasi belajar, karena memadukan interaksi tatap muka dengan keunggulan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Integrasi kedua model ini memberikan dampak paling optimal, karena mampu mengatasi kelemahan masing-masing pendekatan sekaligus mendukung pengembangan kompetensi abad 21 secara lebih menyeluruh.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan systematic literature review (SLR) yang menganalisis penerapan collaborative learning dan integrasi teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI) dalam pembelajaran Sistem Informasi Laboratorium Kesehatan (SILK) di pendidikan vokasi. Studi ini mengkaji dampak kedua pendekatan tersebut terhadap ketepatan, efisiensi, dan pemahaman mahasiswa, serta faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keberhasilan implementasinya. Hasil SLR menunjukkan bahwa collaborative learning dan AI secara terpisah maupun terintegrasi mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan, akurasi input data, kecepatan kerja, dan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap SILK. Keberhasilan integrasi dipengaruhi oleh kesiapan infrastruktur, pelatihan dosen, desain instruksional, serta perhatian pada etika dan privasi.

Abstract

Kesenjangan antara kompetensi lulusan pendidikan maritim dan kebutuhan aktual industri pelayaran tetap menjadi tantangan strategis dalam pengembangan sumber daya manusia di sektor maritim. Pendekatan link and match dianggap sebagai upaya krusial untuk menyelaraskan pendidikan dengan tuntutan industri, namun implementasinya yang efektif sangat bergantung pada pola kepemimpinan lembaga pendidikan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara komprehensif peran kepemimpinan kolaboratif dalam menguatkan hubungan dan keselarasan antara pendidikan maritim dan industri pelayaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode tinjauan literatur dengan menganalisis artikel jurnal, buku akademik, dan laporan kebijakan yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2019 dan 2024. Data diperoleh dari basis data ilmiah terkemuka dan publikasi dari organisasi internasional yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan vokasi dan maritim. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kolaboratif memainkan peran signifikan dalam membangun kemitraan strategis, menyelaraskan kurikulum dengan kompetensi industri, dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran praktis serta kesiapan kerja lulusan. Di sisi lain, implementasi kepemimpinan kolaboratif juga menghadapi tantangan seperti perbedaan budaya organisasi, sumber daya yang terbatas, dan kapasitas kepemimpinan. Temuan ini menekankan bahwa memperkuat kepemimpinan kolaboratif merupakan prasyarat krusial untuk membangun ekosistem pendidikan maritim yang adaptif, berkelanjutan, dan selaras dengan kebutuhan industri pelayaran nasional dan global

Abstract

In the era of globalization, interactions among individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds have become inevitable. Effective communication in such contexts requires not only grammatical proficiency but also pragmatic competence—the ability to interpret implied meanings within utterances. This article explores the challenges and complexities of cross-cultural pragmatics by examining three key dimensions: meaning interpretation, variations in politeness norms, and differences in speech acts. Through this analysis, the paper highlights the critical role of cultural sensitivity in communication, emphasizing its importance in preventing misunderstandings and fostering harmonious interpersonal relationships.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of morphosyntactic deviations that appear in the speech of students at SMK Negeri 5 Bulukumba, particularly at the morpheme and word levels. The background of this study is based on the phenomenon of students' spoken language use, which often does not conform to standard Indonesian language rules, influenced by regional languages, slang, and informal language habits in everyday life. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data in the form of students' spoken language recorded during class discussions and interactions. The results of the study show several forms of morphological deviations, namely incorrect use of prefixes, suffixes, formation of double affixed words, omission of affixes, errors in reduplication, and errors in determining the basic form of words. These deviations indicate that students still have difficulty applying the rules of Indonesian morphology appropriately in formal communication contexts. These findings are expected to provide input for Indonesian language teachers in designing more effective learning strategies to improve students' oral language competence.
