Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transmission mechanism of fiscal policy in Indonesia using the Structure Vector Autoregression (S-VAR) approach, focusing on macroeconomic variables such as government spending, tax revenue, Gross Domestic Product (GDP), inflation, unemployment, and budget deficit over the period 2010 to 2020. The results of the analysis show that government spending has a significant positive impact on GDP growth, reflecting the effectiveness of expansionary fiscal policy in promoting economic growth and reducing unemployment in the short term. However, the impact on inflation shows complex dynamics, where inflation initially increases in response to government spending, but then stabilizes in the medium term. This finding indicates the need for careful management of fiscal and monetary policies to avoid undesirable inflationary impacts. In addition, Variance Decomposition analysis reveals that variations in GDP are influenced more by government spending than by other variables, emphasizing the important role of fiscal policy in the Indonesian economy. This study provides recommendations to increase spending in productive sectors while still monitoring inflation and budget deficit, which is expected to provide insights for policymakers in formulating economic growth strategies.

Abstract

This research examines innovation in the digital era as a new step in the competition among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The method used is quantitative, employing a questionnaire distributed to 10 respondents, coupled with data analysis via validity tests, reliability tests, and statistical tests. The validity test results indicate that most questionnaire items are valid with an average correlation value of 0.46, while the reliability test using Cronbach's Alpha yields a score of 0.85, signifying that this instrument is dependable. Descriptive statistical analysis and Chi-Square tests reveal a significant relationship between the use of digital platforms and sales improvement, with a Chi-Square value of 14.25 and a p-value of 0.03. These findings suggest that the more intensively MSMEs use e-commerce, the greater their chances of increasing revenue. Smart innovation through the adoption of digital technology, especially e-commerce, proves important in strengthening MSME competitiveness. This research recommends the need for support from the government and relevant institutions in the form of training and access to financing to facilitate the digital transformation of MSME players. With these steps, it is hoped that MSMEs can not only compete more effectively in local markets but also contribute to national economic growth.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the role of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in enhancing the local economy in a village. The study employs a quantitative method, collecting data through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents involved in BUMDes activities. The statistical analysis includes descriptive analysis, validity and reliability testing, as well as inferential analysis such as t-tests and ANOVA to identify differences in knowledge and participation based on demographic variables. The findings indicate that the existence of BUMDes significantly enhances community knowledge and participation in economic programs, as well as positively impacts income growth and access to services. The findings also suggest significant differences in levels of knowledge and participation based on gender and age groups, with males tending to have higher knowledge and younger respondents being more actively involved. Therefore, this study recommends that BUMDes managers consider the demographic characteristics of the community when designing more inclusive programs that meet their needs. With the optimization of BUMDes's role, it is expected that the village economy can continue to grow and provide greater benefits to the community. This research provides important insights for the development of BUMDes and local economic empowerment strategies in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of digital transformation on efficiency and connectivity in administrative services in Batur Village, Semarang Regency. Given the community's need for fast and effective public services, this study aims to explore how the application of information technology can improve village administration management. The method used is quantitative, with data collection through questionnaires distributed to 60 respondents consisting of villagers and village officials. This questionnaire includes demographic questions as well as questions related to the use of village administration services. The results of the analysis showed that 65% of respondents prefer online administration services, while 35% still rely on conventional methods. The average frequency of use of digital services by respondents reaches three times a month with a standard deviation of 1.1, indicating good consistency of use among the community. The validity test of the questionnaire confirmed that all questions were valid, with a significance value below 0.05. The reliability test using Cronbach's Alpha showed a value of 0.82, indicating high consistency in the results obtained. In addition, 80% of village officials involved in website management reported that the digital system had increased the efficiency of administrative management, accelerated the service process, and allowed them to focus on other development tasks. These findings indicate that people, especially those of productive age, are starting to adapt to digital-based administrative services, which not only facilitate access to information but also increase efficiency and transparency in public services. Thus, this study provides an important contribution to understanding the positive impact of digital transformation in improving the quality of administrative services in villages, as well as encouraging the use of technology in the public sector to respond to the evolving needs of society.

Abstract

Urban population growth in Indonesia is projected to increase by 2.75% annually, with 67% of the population expected to reside in urban areas by 2035. Rapid urban expansion without adequate basic services and infrastructure provision often leads to the formation of slum settlements. Slum settlements, as defined by Undang-Undang No. 1 of 2011, are areas deemed uninhabitable due to disorganized building layouts, high building density, and substandard infrastructure. Kaliwates District, identified as a regional activity center in Jember Regency's Spatial Plan (2013–2035), has the highest population density and growth rate in the regency, with a density of 5,140 people/km² and an annual growth rate of 106.06% from 2020–2023.One of the identified slum areas in the Kaliwates District is in RT02/RW01, Tegal Besar Sub-district, as designated in Jember Regent Decree No. 188.45/158/1.12/2024. This study uses quantitative and qualitative analysis through a descriptive approach to describe the characteristics of slum areas and analyze the level of slum areas by scoring. This study examines the existing conditions of the slum settlement in RT02/RW01. Evaluate its slum level based on seven variables and 19 criteria outlined in the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Housing No. 14/PRT/M/2018. The variables include building conditions, road infrastructure, drainage systems, wastewater management, solid waste management, and fire protection. The research result show that RT02/RW01, Tegal Besar Sub-district is categorized as medium slum areas.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the addition of tannins as additives on the physical quality of chicory mixed silage (Cichorium intybus L.) and onggok. The method used was a Complete Random Design (RAL) consisting of 5 treatments and 5 replicates. The treatment used consisted of P0(-) (100% onggory without the addition of tannins), P1(+) (100% onggok + 12 grams of tannins), P2 (chicory 75% + 25% onggok + tannin 12 grams), P3 (chicory 50% + onggok 50% + tannins 12 grams), P4 (chicory 25% + onggok 75% + tannins 12 grams). The data was analyzed by Kruskal Wallis analysis, if there was a real difference, the Dunn test was continued. The results showed that tannins significantly improved the physical quality of silage with parameters in the form of color, aroma, texture, the presence of mold, and pH. Chicory increases the nutrient content, while tannins play the role of special antibacterial and antifungal agents that can make bacteria and fungi brittle. This makes silage have a longer shelf life for the effectiveness of ruminant feed.
