Abstract

Cash waqf, as an Islamic social finance instrument, has experienced substantial growth in line with digital technology advancement. The integration of cash waqf into the Islamic banking system has fostered various innovations, including Islamic crowdfunding platforms and blockchain-based waqf management. However, this digital transformation has not been fully accompanied by adequate regulatory frameworks, posing challenges in terms of legality, governance, and legal protection. This study aims to review the literature related to regulatory transformation of cash waqf within the context of digital Islamic banking. A total of 20 relevant academic articles were systematically examined to identify key issues, policy approaches, and research gaps concerning digital cash waqf regulation. The study finds that misalignment between technological innovation and regulatory clarity results in legal uncertainty, weak institutional coordination, and low public participation. The findings show that the successful implementation of digital cash waqf depends heavily on a regulatory framework that is inclusive, responsive to technological changes, and based on Sharia principles. This article proposes a conceptual framework as a foundation for policy development that supports sustainability, accountability, and transparency in modern Islamic financial systems.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has accelerated changes in the financial sector, including in Islamic financing. Digital disruption in finance brings opportunities for innovation as well as new challenges to risk management that is the basis of the Islamic financial system. The purpose of this study is to overhaul the concept of risk management in Islamic financing by considering the dynamics and complexity of the digital ecosystem. Using a qualitative approach through the systematic literature review (SLR) method, this study examines 30 selected scientific articles from 2020 to 2024. The findings of the study indicate that new types of risks such as cyber risk, technology risk, and digital compliance risk have not been fully accepted in the context of current Islamic risk management. Therefore, there is a need for an overhaul of the risk management framework that can adapt to digital disruption and is based on the maqashid of Islamic law. This study recommends combining the principles of Islamic prudence with digital technology, strengthening responsive regulations, and cooperation between Islamic financial institutions and technology providers. The results of this study are expected to provide a conceptual contribution to building a reliable, competitive, and Islamic financing system in the digital era.

Abstract

This article systematically examines the development of Islamic social finance concepts and their role in promoting sustainable economic development in the context of digital economic transformation. Using a systematic literature review methodology, the study analyzes 30 scholarly articles published between 2015 and 2024, focusing on Islamic social finance, sustainable development, and digital transformation. The findings highlight the significant potential of Islamic social finance—such as zakat, waqf, and charity—as instruments for redistribution and poverty alleviation. However, the sector has not fully embraced digital transformation, particularly in areas of regulation, governance, and product innovation. The study recommends that Islamic social finance institutions adopt digital approaches and strengthen alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Practically, this research supports the development of more adaptive and technology-based policy strategies, while theoretically enriching the academic discourse on the integration of Islamic values in sustainable economic development in the era of disruption

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah membawa dampak signifikan terhadap transformasi sistem keuangan global, termasuk dalam sektor perbankan syariah. Salah satu inovasi yang paling menonjol adalah penggunaan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam berbagai layanan, seperti analisis risiko, pelayanan nasabah, dan pengelolaan keuangan. Meski AI menawarkan efisiensi dan akurasi yang tinggi, penerapannya menimbulkan tantangan baru dalam aspek etika dan regulasi, khususnya dalam konteks kepatuhan terhadap prinsip-prinsip syariah. Artikel ini membahas bagaimana regulasi etika perlu mengalami transformasi agar mampu menjawab perkembangan teknologi AI secara adil dan proporsional di lingkungan perbankan syariah. Metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah studi kepustakaan, dengan menelaah literatur mengenai etika teknologi, regulasi AI, dan prinsip-prinsip hukum Islam. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa regulasi yang ada saat ini masih bersifat umum dan belum sepenuhnya menjangkau kompleksitas AI dalam konteks syariah. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan pendekatan baru yang mengintegrasikan prinsip maqashid syariah (tujuan hukum Islam), seperti keadilan, perlindungan data, transparansi algoritma, dan tanggung jawab sosial, ke dalam kerangka etika dan hukum AI. Selain itu, kolaborasi antara lembaga keuangan, otoritas regulasi, pakar teknologi, dan ulama sangat penting dalam merumuskan kebijakan yang adaptif dan syariah-compliant. Kesimpulannya, transformasi regulasi etika dalam menghadapi AI harus bersifat dinamis, kontekstual, dan berakar pada nilai-nilai Islam demi menjaga integritas dan kepercayaan dalam sistem perbankan syariah di era digital.

Abstract

This article analyzes the paradox of Suggestopedia in Arabic language learning, between claims of hypermnesia and classroom reality. This article uses a qualitative method with a library study design. Data were obtained from journal articles, language learning methodology books, previous research results, and scientific documents discussing Suggestopedia, Arabic language learning, affective aspects, and the challenges of implementing humanistic methods. The analysis was conducted through data reduction, thematic categorization, interpretive reading, and context synthesis. The results show that Suggestopedia has an important contribution in creating a relaxed, humanistic Arabic language learning process, focused on reducing anxiety. This method has the potential to increase student participation, psychological comfort, vocabulary mastery, and language confidence. However, the claim of hypermnesia cannot be accepted absolutely because its effectiveness depends on teacher readiness, classroom facilities, student-to-student ratio, material design, and learning culture. This article concludes that Suggestopedia is more appropriately positioned as a psychopedagogical support approach than a single method. Repositioning it through a hybrid model with a communicative approach, contextual structure training, and digital media is a more realistic alternative for contemporary Arabic language learning..

Abstract

This article examines the reconstruction of Arabic language curricula in madrasahs and Islamic higher education institutions in the era of Kurikulum Merdeka. The study uses a qualitative approach with a library research design, focusing on the analysis of curriculum policy documents, methodological references, curriculum theories, and previous studies related to Arabic language education, Kurikulum Merdeka, outcome-based education, and curriculum alignment. The analysis was conducted through document review, thematic categorization, interpretive reading, and conceptual synthesis. The findings show that Arabic language curriculum policies at the madrasah level have provided a foundation for flexible, contextual, and competency-based learning. At the same time, higher education curriculum policies require study programs to develop curricula based on graduate learning outcomes, graduate profiles, scientific development, and societal needs. However, the study finds that the articulation between Arabic learning outcomes in madrasahs and graduate competencies in Islamic higher education remains insufficiently systematic. The article proposes that Arabic curriculum reconstruction should be developed through three main axes: continuity, relevance, and measurability. These axes can be operationalized through cross-level learning outcome mapping, spiral-integrative curriculum design, differentiated learning pathways, digital and intercultural competency integration, and performance-based assessment. The study contributes a conceptual framework for strengthening Arabic curriculum continuity between madrasahs and Islamic higher education institutions.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji psikolinguistik pembelajaran bahasa Arab di era neurodidaktik dan kecerdasan buatan (AI) sebagai respons terhadap meningkatnya kompleksitas kognitif, linguistik, afektif, dan teknologi dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab kontemporer. Artikel ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain studi kepustakaan konseptual-analitis. Data diperoleh dari literatur ilmiah yang relevan mengenai psikolinguistik, pemerolehan bahasa kedua, morfologi Arab, ortografi Arab, diglosia, faktor afektif, neurodidaktik, dan AI dalam pendidikan bahasa. Analisis dilakukan melalui identifikasi tema, kategorisasi konsep, interpretasi kritis, dan sintesis argumentatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran bahasa Arab tidak dapat direduksi menjadi penguasaan struktural semata, karena melibatkan proses mental yang kompleks dalam mengenali bunyi, memproses akar-pola, membaca ortografi Arab, memahami teks tanpa harakat, mengelola kecemasan, serta membangun makna melalui interaksi sosial. Kajian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa neurodidaktik dapat memperkuat desain pembelajaran melalui prinsip multisensorik, penguatan memori, pengurangan beban kognitif, dan pengelolaan emosi belajar. Selain itu, AI berpotensi mendukung personalisasi pembelajaran, umpan balik adaptif, simulasi bahasa, dan analisis kesalahan, tetapi tetap memerlukan validasi pedagogis guru. Artikel ini menegaskan perlunya rekonstruksi pembelajaran bahasa Arab berbasis psikolinguistik, neurodidaktik, dan AI yang humanis, adaptif, dan berbasis bukti ilmiah.
