Abstract

This study aims to determine differences in student learning outcomes in physics lessons by applying a problem-based learning (PBL) model that uses a differentiated learning approach compared to conventional learning. This research uses quasi-experimental methods in the form of a two-group pretest-posttest design. This study used a sample of 40 students from 2 classes of XI PMIPA: 20 students for the control class and 20 for the experimental class. Research data consists of student learning outcomes using descriptive and comparative analysis supported by test requirements analysis that includes normality, homogeneity, and N-Gain. The results indicated that student learning outcomes score higher with the PBL model using a differentiated learning approach than the conventional learning model. The difference in scores between the two is significant. It means that implementing the PBL model based on a differentiated learning approach can improve student learning outcomes. Thus, this research suggests that the PBL model uses a differentiated learning approach that can be relied upon to improve student learning outcomes, so teachers need to use the PBL model more intensively based on a differentiated learning approach to encourage increased student learning outcomes in physics.

Abstract

21st century learning demands critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and communication competencies. Therefore, integrating 21st century skills into the learning process effectively is very important, both teachers and students are expected to be able to master these skills. However, there are still many students who have not mastered 21st century skills, one of which is creative thinking skills. To achieve this competency, students need to experience a supportive process, active learning, and involve the problems around them, one of which is learning using PjBL which contains ESD. The data collection technique uses case-based essay questions about the diversity of wild plants in the area. Data were analyzed using the N Gain test, normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test. The research was conducted over five meetings with the implementation of PjBL containing ESD which aims to improve students' creative thinking skills. The results of the research that has been carried out show that the creative thinking skills of students in the experimental group obtained an average N Gain value of 0.58 in the medium category, while in the control group an N-Gain value of 0.25 was obtained in the low category. So it can be concluded that the use of the PjBL model containing ESD can improve students' creative thinking skills.

Abstract

The role of women's transition as laborers actively participates in economic activities (earning a living) in various activities following the skills and education they have as well as available job opportunities. No exception is a kindergarten teacher. This study aims to determine the effect of role conflict, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment on the turnover intention of working women, in this case, the kindergarten teacher ABA Full Day in Yogyakarta. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling. The sample was 56 people—data collection using a questionnaire survey method. Test the instrument using a validity test and reliability test. Data analysis using regression test. The result of the research concludes that role conflict and organizational commitment have a significant effect on turnover intention. In contrast, job satisfaction has no significant effect on turnover intention. However, role conflict, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment significantly affect turnover intention. These findings provide a thought-provoking insight into the difficulties encountered by female teachers, underscoring the vital need to tackle these factors in order to cultivate a supportive and nurturing educational atmosphere.

Abstract

Rendahnya keterbukaan terhadap pengalaman baru dapat menyebabkan minimnya motivasi guru TK untuk mempelajari hal-hal baru, mengembangkan diri, dan mewujudkan potensi kreatifnya dengan mencoba berbagai hal baru untuk menumbuhkan lingkungan belajar yang menarik dan menyenangkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas pelatihan menjadi guru terbuka dalam meningkatkan pemahaman guru TK mengenai keterbukaan terhadap pengalaman baru. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain one group pretest posttest untuk mengetahui ketahanan efek pembelajaran sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Pengolahan data menggunakan ANOVA repeated measure. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan “Menjadi Guru yang Terbuka terhadap Penagalaman Baru” efektif meningkatkan pemahaman guru tentang keterbukaan terhadap pengalaman baru. Beberapa faktor perlu diperhatikan untuk mendukung ketahanan efek pembelajaran pasca pelatihan, seperti keterlibatan otoritas yang lebih tinggi di sekolah untuk mendukung penerapan keterbukaan, serta upaya pembentukan konsep diri guru yang positif.

Abstract

Business competition is increasing, companies must reorganize their business strategies and tactics every day in the era of globalization. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Line Balencing on the efficiency and effectiveness of shoe production at PT Wangta Agung. The research method used is descriptive research. Descriptive research is a type of research conducted with the main purpose of providing an objective description or description of the situation. The results of the research on the actual shoe production workstation configuration consisted of 15 work stations with a cycle time of 16 seconds. Analysis of sewing activity work time takes about 23.75 minutes for one additional operator to assist the two main operators in meeting the set targets. The increased capacity of the shoe-making production workstation consists of 7 stations that have a balance of 16 seconds of delay time with production efficiency with a yield of 87.5%.

Abstract

Gender identity plays an important role in shaping communication dynamics in academic settings. This study aims to explore the role of gender identity in collaborative communication within student study and discussion groups. This research uses a qualitative approach and draws on literature related to gender, collaborative communication, and higher education. Social construction of gender, gender stereotypes, and communication theory are used as frameworks to analyze the influence of gender identity in the context of group communication. The study population consists of active students. Purposive sampling techniques are used to select participants with diverse gender backgrounds. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and participant observations, and then analyzed using a thematic analysis approach. The results of the analysis show that gender identity affects communication patterns, topic selection, participation, and decision-making in study and discussion groups. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of considering the role of gender identity in designing inclusive and empowering learning environments. The implications of this research for educational practice and future research directions are also discussed.

Abstract

Performance is a key factor for every individual and organization in achieving productivity Organizations do not only pursue the achievement of high productivity, but also pay more attention to performance in the process of achieving it. This study aims to examine the effect of Organizational Culture and Competency on Employee Performance. This study uses explanatory quantitative research on 40 distributor company in DKI Jakarta with 75 respondents processed using the SEM-PLS approach. Based on result study, it can be seen that organizational culture has a partial effect on employee performance, which means that the more often employees comfort with their organizational culture, the higher their performance in the organization. Then, competency has an effect on employee performance, which means that the more compentence, the higher the employee's performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengulas runtutan dialektika-dialektika hukum islam, termasuk konsep yang dianut oleh negara Indonesia, yakni konsep Negara berketuhanan (religious nation state) yang berasaskan pancasila. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian studi kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analitis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk-bentuk perjuangan hukum islam di kancah perpolitikan dan pergerakan social di Indonesia diwarnai oleh berbagai macam konsep dalam memandang perlu atau tidaknya formalisasi hukum islam. Perbedaan ini tidak lepas dari titik pijak dan paradigma yang digunakan. Penganut madzhab teokrasi tentunya memiliki keyakinan bahwa yang patut dijadikan landasan hukum negara aadalah agama. Sekuler sebaliknya, agama dan negara haruslah dipisah. Agama tidak boleh mengatur negara begitu pun sebaliknya. Dua kutub ekstrim ini kemudian ditengahi oleh konsep negara berketuhanan, yang meyakini bahwa negara dan agama bisa berjalan beriringan untuk saling mengisi dan mewarnai. Negara tidak menjadikan satu agama tertentu sebagai dasar, juga tidak menolak agama dalam hukum publik, negara berjalan diatas asas dan nilai-nilai yang dijiwai oleh agama-agama yang ada di dalamnya. Negara menjamin dan melindungi setiap kegiatan keagamaan yang dilakukan oleh warga negaranya.

Abstract

This study’s goal is to determine the effect of work placement and work discipline on performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable among a manufacturing company during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study design is causal-comparative with a quantitative approach with 100 respondents. The study's findings indicated that work placement had a direct impact on performance, work discipline had a direct impact on performance, job satisfaction had a direct impact on performance, work discipline had a direct impact on job satisfaction, and work placement had a direct impact on job satisfaction. Work discipline did not significantly have an indirect effect on performance.

Abstract

Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan lanjutan dari yang sudah dilakukan tahun 2022 tentang faktor yang mempengaruhi angka kematian bayi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dampak sebaran penerima bantuan sosial PKH, terhadap angka kematian bayi dengan mengamati persyaratan yang ada dalam kebijakan PKH di Indonesia. Hal tersebut dilakukan dengan diikuti pemberian solusi sehingga dapat menurunkan tingkat penerima PKH yang tidak tepat sasaran. Jenis penelitian berupa korelasi dan expost facto dengan menggunakan pendekatan gabungan mix method. Metode dilakukan berurutan antara data kuantitatif yang didapatkan dari hasil survey pelaksanaan PKH di Klaten dan data kualitatif yang didapat dari hasil wawancara. Sampel yang digunakan adalah Kecamatan Bayat, Trucuk dan Jatinom dengan total seratus responden. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuisioner dengan teknik analisis deskriptif korelasi. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa telah terjadi kondisi yang tidak ideal, di mana daerah dengan rata-rata pendapatan keluarga tinggi menerima lebih banyak bantuan sosial PKH dibandingkan daerah yang pendapatan rata-rata keluarganya lebih rendah. Sehingga, solusi yang dapat diberikan adalah melakukan pembaruan data penerima PKH setiap bulannya dengan melibatkan para stakeholder, serta penambahan kriteria yakni jumlah pendapatan yang dimiliki penerima bantuan sosial PKH.
