Abstract

Soil fertility is a soil condition that can support plant growth properly. Soil fertility is strongly influenced by many factors, one of which is the microbial population in the soil. Microbial populations are important due to their important role in degrading complex nutrients into simpler nutrients to be utilized by plants and other soil biota. The application of fertilizers and plows is done to support microbial growth in marginal soils. The types of fertilizers used were P0 (compost + biochar 1.75%), P1 (compost with 10t/ha biochar application), P2 (compost + biochar 1.75% + vermicompost 1.5%), and P3 (compost + biochar 1.75% + vermicompost 1.5% added microbial enrichment). From this study, the results of Split Plot ANOVA showed that there was a significant effect on month 1 and 3 observations, both on fungi and bacteria. Treatments that had a significant effect were further tested with Tukey's HSD. The best treatment based on the comparison of the mean in the 1st month fungal observation is P3, while in the 3rd month fungus and bacteria is P0.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Develop Problem-Based Learning (PBL)-based Poster Learning Media to Improve Student Learning Outcomes, (2) Determine the feasibility and validity of Problem-Based Learning (PBL)-based Poster Learning Media to Improve Student Learning Outcomes, (3) To determine the effectiveness of Poster-Based Learning Media Using Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in Improving Student Learning Outcomes. This development study employs the 4D model, which consists of four stages: Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination. The subjects of this study were subject matter experts, media experts, science teachers, and 20 students from MTs NW Sukamulia. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and tests that had previously undergone validity tests, reliability tests, difficulty level tests, and discrimination power tests. Based on the data analysis and discussion, the product is deemed suitable and valid for use in teaching and learning activities. This suitability is evident from the average suitability scores obtained: subject matter experts 3.6, media experts 3.6, science teachers 3.2, and student responses 3.6. These scores meet the criteria for good and very good. Furthermore, the validity of the poster learning media can be seen from the percentage of ideality from subject matter experts (90%), media experts (91%), science teachers (79%), and student responses (90%). Based on the percentage of ideality, the results obtained meet the criteria for valid and highly valid. Based on the average percentage for improving student learning outcomes, it falls into the very good category.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of learning media in form of posters on students’ motivation and learning outcomes in biology subjects at MA NW Sukamulia. The study was conducted with a quasi-experimental design, involving two classes: experimental class XI A which used poster media and control class XI B which applied conventional methods. Data were collected through questionnaires and learning outcome tests. The results show that students’ learning motivation in the experimental class, with an average questionnaire score of 81.4 and a standard deviation of 3.82, is higher than the control class which obtained and average score of 68 with a standard deviation of 6.47. independent T-test showed T count 7.9970, greater than T table 2.0227, indication a significant increase in students’ learning motivation using poster media. In terms of learning outcomes, the average pre-test score of the experimental class is 35.25 with an increase in the post-test to 46, while the control class shows a pre-test score of 29.52 and a post-test of 32.14. independent T-test for learning outcomes revealed T count 2.3136, higher than T table 2.0210, indicating a significant increase in the learning outcomes of students in the experimental class. Overall, the use of poster media significantly increased students’ motivation and learning outcomes in the experimental class compared to the control class.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the impact of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) method on the learning outcomes of eleventh grade students at SMA NW Tebaban for the 2024/2025 academic year. This study employed a pre- experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The population of this research comprised all eleventh-grade students at SMA NW Tebaban for the 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 23 students. The research design used was a pre-test – post- test with treatment administered over a certain period, measuring with tests before (pre-test) and after (post-test) the treatment, and modifying the pre-test and post-test scores obtained from the students’ test results after the intervention. Data analysis employed an independent sample t-test, supported by the Shapiro-Wilk test conducted by the researcher. The hypothesis results indicated that tcount > ttable (0.9857 > 4.28), meaning Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an impact of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) method on the learning outcomes of eleventh grade students at SMA NW Tebaban for the 2024/2025 academic year.
