Abstract

Abstract: This research intent to develop material teaches biological module get inkuiri's basis change material and pelestarian is environment to braze x SMA / MA school year 2020 / 2021. This observa- tional type is observational developmental. Model that is utilized in research and this development is model Borg And Gall. Phase that is utilized in this developmental research just 5 steps, which is Re- search and Information Collecting (need analysis), Planning (planning), Develop Preliminary Form of Product (early product development), PreliminaryField Testing (circumscribed examination), Main Product Revision (products testing yielding revision). Validator is total pro two person yaiu one valida- tor an old hand at materials and one validator an old hand at design. Estimation of biological teacher consisting of two teachers. terdiridari's respondent 10 person namely student brazes XI IPA MA Your ’ Mu’allimin NW Pancor. Tech that is utilized for downloading namely by use of questionnaire. That questionnaire is given unto 10 students, then result that gotten by dianalisis by use of tech descriptive an- alisis quantitative. There is result even analisis data that is gotten is of an old hand at materi72,06% one has kualifikasi reasonable, result validates design pro which is 88,21% one has kualifikasi so reasonable, result of MA's biological teacher Your ’ Mu’allimin NW Pancor which is 84,48% one has kualifikasi so reasonable, estimation result of MA Al Ijtihad Al Mahsuni Danger's biological teacher which is 90,52% one has kualifikasi so reasonable, and student response result which is 83,5% one has kualifikasi so rea- sonable. Base that result, product that dikembangakan reasonably being utilized deep learning process. Keywords: Biological module, Inkuiri, changing and pelestarian environmentally Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar modul biologi berbasis inkuiri materi perubahan dan pelestarian lingkungan hidup untuk kelas X SMA/MA tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah model Borg and Gall. Tahap yang digunakan dalam penelitian pengembangan ini hanya 5 tahapan, yaitu Research and Information Collecting (analisa kebutuhan), Planning (perencanaan), Develop Preliminary Form of Product (pengembangan produk awal), Preliminary Field Testing (pengujian terbatas), Main Product Revision (revisi hasil uji produk).Validator ahli berjumlah dua orang yaitu satu validator ahli materi dan satu validator ahli desain. Penilaian dari guru biologi terdiri dari dua guru. Responden terdiri dari 10 orang yakni siswa kelas XI IPA MA Mu’allimin NW Pancor. Teknik yang digunakan untuk pengambilan data yakni dengan menggunakan angket. Angket tersebut diberikan kepada 10 siswa, kemudian hasil yang didapatkan dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Adapun hasil analisis data yang didapatkan adalah dari ahli materi 72,06% yang memiliki kualifikasi layak, hasil validasi ahli desain yaitu 88,21% yang memiliki kualifikasi sangat layak, hasil dari guru bi- ologi MA Mu’allimin NW Pancor yaitu 84,48% yang memiliki kualifikasi sangat layak, hasil penilaian dari guru biologi MA Al-Ijtihad Al-Mahsuni Danger yaitu 90,52% yang memiliki kuali- fikasi sangat layak, dan hasil respon siswa yaitu 83,5% yang memiliki kualifikasi sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, produk yang dikembangakan layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Kata kunci: Modul Biologi, Inkuiri, perubahan dan pelestarian lingkungan

Abstract

Research conducted at SMPN 1 Suela aims to determine the effect of Discovery learning models on student learning outcomes in Biology subjects in class VIII SMPN 1 Suela Kec. Suela The research design used was quasi-experiment using pre-test and post-test of control class and experimental class. The study population was 171 students, while the sample for the control class was 25 students and the experiment was 25 students. Data about learning outcomes in Biology subjects is collected by multiple choice tests. Data analysis using t-test statistics. The results showed that there was a significant influence using Discovery learning models. Discovery learning model of the experimental class at the time of pre-test average value of 65.28 and post-test average value of 79.04 while the control class that uses conventional learning models at the time of pre-test average value of 65.12 and the average value of post test average of 72. And based on calculations using the t-test obtained t count (6.76) is greater than t table with a significant level of 5%. with degrees of freedom (dk) n_1 + n_2-2 = 25 + 25 = 48, obtained t table of 2.0126. This shows that t_ (count˃) t_table is 6.76 ˃ 2.0126. From these results it shows that Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence by using the Discovery learning model on student learning outcomes in Biology subject class VIII at SMPN 1 Suela Academic Year 2019.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to develop student worksheets based on excellence local in biology subject in ecosystem material in the tenth grade of senior high school. This type of Research is developmental research. The model used in this research and developmental is the Bord and Gall, it uses only five stages, namely: Research and information collecting, Planning, Develop preliminary form of product, Preliminary field testing, Main product revision. The validator consists of 1 material expert, 1 instructional material expert, and 2 biology teachers. The response consisted of 6 students of the eleventh grade of MA. Mu’allimin NW Pancor in the school year 2019/2020. The data collection technique use a questionnaire with a likert scale of 5 to 4, according to the researcher’s modifications. Data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the product of teaching materials in the form of developed worksheets has excellent criteria. Both in terms of material (94%), design aspect (95%), biology teachers (86,25%), and student responses (91,45%). Thus, those worksheets are approprivat for use in the learning process. Ecosystem Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) berbasis keunggulan lokal pada materi Ekosistem mata pelajaran biologi kelas X SMA/MA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah model Bord and Gall dengan menggunakan 5 tahapan saja yaitu (Research and information collecting, Planning, Develop preliminary form of product, Preliminary field testing, Main product revision). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk bahan ajar berupa LKS yang dikembangkan memiliki criteria sangat baik, baik dari segi materi (94%), segi desain bahan ajar (95%), guru Biologi (86,25%) dan respon siswa (91,45%). Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to develop Student Worksheets based on Guided Inquiry Learning on creative thinking skills and student learning outcomes. This type of research is development using a 4-D model (define, design, develop, dessisment). Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The validator consists of 1 material expert, 1 design expert, and 2 biology teachers. The respondents consisted of 12 students of class XI IPA MA Mu'allimat NWDI Pancor. Data analysis uses quantitative and qualitative descriptive. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, data obtained that the quality of the Student Worksheet according to 1 material expert is Very Good with an ideal percentage of 95% with Very Efficient qualifications, in terms of teaching material design the feasibility quality is Very Good with an ideal percentage of 96% with Very Efficient qualifications, teachers biology with good eligibility quality with a percentage of 81% with Efficient qualifications, and student responses with Very Good eligibility qualities with an ideal percentage of 96% with Very Efficient qualifications. The percentage of creative thinking is 58% in the creative category and 83% for learning outcomes in the medium category. Based on this, it can be concluded that the Student Worksheet Based on Guided Inquiry on Creative Thinking Ability and Student Learning Outcomes is feasible to be used in the learning process. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan di dapatkan data bahwa kualitas Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik menurut 1 ahli materi Sangat Baik dengan persentase keidealan 95% dengan kualifikasi Sangat Efisien, segi desain bahan ajar kualitas kelayakan Sangat Baik dengan persentase keidealan 96% dengan kualifikasi Sangat Efisien, guru biologi dengan kualitas kelayakan Baik dengan persentase 81% dengan kualifikasi Efisien, dan respon siswa dengan kualitas kelayakan Sangat Baik dengan persentase keidealan 96% dengan kualifikasi Sangat Efisien. Persentase berpikir kreatif sebesar 58% kategori kreatif dan untuk hasil belajar 83% kategori sedang. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Berbasis Inkuiri Terbimbing Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif dan Hasil Belajar Siswa layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Abstract

Sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.) is a plant used for sugar production with waste products in the form of bagasse and sugarcane leaves. Sugarcane pulp and leaves are known t°Contain hemicellulose (xylan) which has the potential to be used as a rough substrate for xylanase-producing microorganisms. The aim of the research was to isolate xylanolytic bacteria from sugar cane plantations and to know the characteristics of xylanolytic bacteria. The research was conducted in December 2022- February 2023. This research was divided into 2 parts, namely experiment and observation. Experimental research in the form of biological characters using Completely Randomized Factorial Design (RALF). The first factor was the pH of the media, namely pH 4, pH 5, and pH 6. The second factor was temperature, using a temperature of 25°C and 45°C. Each treatment was carried out with 3 replications. To determine the characteristics of xylanolytic bacteria, an observational study was carried out by conducting a hypersensitivity test and observing the macroscopic and microscopic morphology of the bacterial colonies. The results showed that the best bacterial pH in producing the enzymatic index was at pH 4 and 25°C. Hypersensitivity test showed that all isolates were pathogenic.

Abstract

This innovative research aim to develop and test the effectives of 2D science board learning media in improving students understanding of the digestuve system and organ systems in humans, this study used the R&D ( Research and Development) method from Borg and Gall. Data collection techniques used observation, validation and testing, where the target of this study was class VII MTs/ Equivalent. The results of this study indicate that this media is interesting and interactive and effective in achieving learning objectivs, expert validation and student responses respond possitevly to atractive and interactive visual display and can improve student learning outcomes, which of course supports the conclusion that 2D science board media is a teaching and that is proven to be aeffective interactive and practical when applied to science learning Keywords: Learning Media, 2D Science Board , Research and Development, Science Learning

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the impact of the TPACK based on Project Based Learning model on biology learning outcomes and the creative thinking skills of tenth-grade students. This study was used experimental research conducted with a quantitative approach. The research employed a Quasi-Experimental design with a nonequivalent control group, comprising experimental and control groups. The research population included all tenth-grade students (phase E) of SMAN 1 LENEK for the 2024/2025 academic year. The research sample was determined using multistage random sampling. Phase E3 served as the experimental class using the TPACK based on Project Based Learning model, while phase E8 was the control class using the conventional lecture method. Data collection techniques included modified tests on learning outcomes and creative thinking skills, consisting of three essay questions. Data were analyzed using an independent sample t-test for hypotheses 1 and 2 and MANOVA for hypothesis 3. The results of this study indicated that: 1) TPACK based on Project Based Learning significantly influenced biology learning outcomes, 2) TPACK based on Project Based Learning significantly influenced students’ creative thinking skills, 3) TPACK based on Project Based Learning significantly influenced both biology learning outcomes and students’ creative thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Develop a biology teaching module based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) to improve students' critical thinking. (2) To determine the feasibility and ideality of a biology teaching module based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) to improve students' critical thinking. (3) To determine the effectiveness of a teaching module based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) to improve students' critical thinking. This development research uses the Borg and Gall model which is carried out with 7 stages of development, namely: collecting initial information, planning, developing initial products, limited scale trials, product revisions, large scale trials, product revisions. The subjects of the trial in this study were material experts I and II, design material experts, 40 students of MA NW Sukamulia, and 28 SMAN 1 Lenek. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires and data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the biology teaching module product Based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) to improve students' critical thinking skills is feasible, ideal and effective to be used during the learning process. This feasibility can be seen from the average percentage of feasibility from material expert I 93.06%, material expert II 96.99%, design expert 86.75%, and student response 79.67%. This has the criteria of very feasible and feasible. Furthermore, the ideality of the teaching module can be seen from the average score of ideality from material expert I 63, material expert II 66, design expert 68, and student response 54.05. This has the criteria of very ideal and ideal. Then the effectiveness of the teaching module can be seen from the average N-Gain obtained for the broad scale of the experimental class 0.62 and the limited scale of the control class 0.22. Based on the average N-Gain obtained, it has moderate criteria with a fairly effective level of effectiveness. Based on the results of the average percentage of the acquisition of Student Worksheets Based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) per group, it shows that Student Worksheets Based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) to improve students' critical thinking skills are in the very critical category. Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Develop a biology teaching module with a STEAM approach based on the Engineering Design Process (EDP) to improve students’ creative thinking skills. (2) To examine the feasibility and ideality of a biology teaching module with a STEAM approach based on the Engineering Design Process (EDP) to improve students' creative thinking skills. (3) To determine the effectiveness of a biology teaching module with a STEAM approach based on the Engineering Design Process (EDP) to improve students' creative thinking skills. This development research usedthe Borg and Gall model which was carried out with 7 stages of development; initial information collection, planning, initial product development, small-scale trials, product revision, limited trials, and product revision. The subjects of the trial in this study were material experts I and II, design experts, 20 students of SMAS NWDI Tebaban, and 65 students of SMAN 1 Pringgasela. The data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire and the data was analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the biology teaching module product with the STEAM approach based on the Engineering Design Process (EDP) to improve students' creative thinking skills is feasible, ideal and effective to be used during the learning process. This feasibility can be seen from the average percentage of feasibility from material expert I 95.14%, material expert II 93.06%, design expert 94.29%, and student response 79%. This has the criteria of very feasible and feasible. Furthermore, the ideality of the teaching module can be seen from the average score of ideality from material expert I 64, material expert II 63, design expert 81, and student response 54.05. This has the criteria of very ideal and ideal. Then the effectiveness of the teaching module can be seen from the average N-Gain obtained from the limited scale of the experimental class 0.62 and the limited scale of the control class 0.26. Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Develop a biology teaching module based on Problem Solving for problem solving ability in students. (2) To determine the validity of the biology teaching module based on Problem Solving for problem solving ability in students. (3) To determine the effectiveness of the biology teaching module based on Problem Solving for problem solving ability in students. The trial subjects in this study were material experts, biology teachers, design experts, 16 students in small-scale trials, 40 students in limited trials at MA NW Sepit. Problem solving ability is crucial in academic contexts and everyday life, so an appropriate learning strategy is needed. In this study, the teaching module was developed using the 4-D model, with the stages of define, design, and develop. The evaluation results showed that the developed module was very valid with an average feasibility of 92.13% from material expert I, 87.04% from material expert II, and 81.33% from design experts. Student responses to the module also showed a feasibility percentage of 86.42%, indicating that this module is ready to be applied in learning. Testing the effectiveness of the module through pretest and posttest showed a significant increase in students’ problem-solving abilities. The experimental class showed an N-Gain of 0.75, which is categorized as high, compared to the control class with an N-Gain of 0.26 which is categorized as low. This finding confirms that the Problem Solving approach in the teaching module is able to improve students' skills in solving problems. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the development of a Problem Solving-based teaching module is not only valid and ideal, but also effective in improving students’ problem- solving abilities, which supports the goal of education to produce creative and competent individuals
