Abstract

ABSTRACT Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a form of companies contributing to society. CSR in its business practices leads to legal provisions, ethical values, and economic values. PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda is one of the companies that carry out CSR programs. Along with the journey of operation, the community gets many benefits including increased welfare or income, opening up employment opportunities, and fulfilling community needs. Basically CSR programs are not only material donations but also community empowerment programs. This is done so that the community can develop their quality and skills. The CSR program is designed to create a prosperous, developing and advanced society. The research uses qualitative methods with a case study approach. Researchers used structured interviews, observation and documentation methods to find data from related sources. The data were tested by using data triangulation. Triangulation in credibility testing is the examination of data from different sources at different times. The research was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman analysis interaction model, namely data collection, data reduction and conclusion drawing and verification. Based on the results of interviews, observations and documentation, the implementation of PT PIM's CSR program was obtained through four stages, namely fact finding, planning, communication and evaluation. The fact finding stage is carried out by obtaining field facts based on the results of observations and discussions with the local community. The planning stage is carried out by compiling the problems obtained in fact finding, then making detailed plans starting from the type of activity, the people involved to the budget obtained through the proposed proposal. by the community. The communication stage is carried out with the help of mass media, direct communication with village officials so that the surrounding community knows about the CSR program that will be run by PT PIM. The Evaluation stage is the final stage, in the form of an assessment by the community regarding the CSR program being implemented. Abstract

Teenage identity is a complex process involving the exploration of values,interests, social roles, and self-perceptions. One of the factors influencing this identitydevelopment is the family environment. The family is the first environment in whichteenagers interact and shape their thought patterns and behaviors. This study aims toanalyze the role of family communication in the process of forming late adolescent identityamong students of Radya Binatama Communication Academy, aged 18-21 years. Theresearch method used is Quantitative with a descriptive approach. Based on the resultsand discussions, it can be concluded that communication intensity within the family isprimarily carried out, especially with mothers, fathers, and siblings living together. Formsof care from parents and siblings are strongly perceived by students as a form of support.Harmony within family relationships still exists, enabling continued family gatherings thatfoster open communication with both parents and siblings, as well as social life outsidethe home. In the study on the role of family communication in the formation of lateadolescent identity among students of Radya Binatama Communication Academy, it canbe concluded that family communication significantly influences the development andformation of teenage identity.Keywords: Family Communication, Teenage Identity, Communication Intensity

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis report describes the application of the Realist style to the directing technique of the short film Tersesat. As a report review, definitions, theories, characteristics, and characters of the Realist style are also disclosed. Furthermore, it was explained that the director chose a Social Realist style combined with Laissez Faire leadership theory to build the dramatic and artistic aspects of the production of the short film Get Lost.The results of the report explain that the Social Realist style is considered appropriate in the directing technique of the short film Tersesat. This is because the main character of the story, who is a family of farmers, is part of the proletariat, in accordance with the characteristics of the main character in the Social Realist style. In addition, the characteristics of the Social Realist style that uses natural acting are also appropriate to be applied to build the illusion of reality in the production of the short film Tersesat.Kata kunci : Film fiksi drama, Tersesat, Sutradara, Realisme

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe Other Side of Nglanggeran is a sidebar feature work. This program discusses the other side of the Ancient Volcano as a milestone in the establishment of the Nglanggeran Tourism Village using a geological perspective, the perspective of Pokdarwis, and community leaders. discusses how residents uphold their culture and are able to collaborate with the natural heritage that is given, with a duration of 24 minutes which is divided into 3 segments. The aim of this program is to provide information to get to know and dig a little deeper into the background of the success of a tourism village. The cameraman has responsibility for all visual aspects in the form of recording images. The author as a cameraman chooses to optimize the size shot variations. This technique has shooting distances such as extreme long shots, long shots, medium shots, medium close ups, close ups, and extreme close ups. Abstract

AbstractTerrorism often gets a large portion of coverage in the French and Indonesian mass media. These two countries are prone to violence, which disrupts security and stability. This research is to dismantle the construction of media ideology so that it can reveal hidden meanings or interests in a text. The French media studied were lemonde.fr, le figaro.fr, and 20minutes.fr. Indonesian online media studied were tempo.co, detik.com, and kompas.com. This study uses Norman Fairclough’s critical discourse analysis models using three important dimensions; text, discourse practice, and sociocultural practice. The result is that both French and Indonesian mass media use global narratives in reporting on terrorism, claiming that Islamic groups are responsible for the radical actions that occur. The three French mass media often mention the perpetrators of the attacks using the diction of followers of ISIS, jihadists, Islamic terrorists, Islamic radical groups, extremists, daesh, or attacker’s nativecountry as part of the attacker’s identity. Abstract

ABSTRACTSexual harassment is a criminal act that not only attacks the victim physically, butalso psychologically. The victims of sexual harassment are not only among women;children are able to become victims of these criminal acts as well. The Special Region ofYogyakarta (or DIY) is one of the cities that has an increasing number of harassment andviolence every year. According to recorded data each year, the victims of sexualharassment and violence multiply. As of now, Indonesia has a constitution regulating theissue of sexual harassment implicitly in Article 28G and Article 28I. In Article 28G, everyonehas the right to self-protection, honor and dignity, as well as a sense of security andprotection from threats of fear to do or act something. Meanwhile, Article 28I states thateveryone has the right not to be tortured and receive discriminatory treatment. This studyused qualitative methods, which data collection techniques were obtained from interview,observation, and documentation. These data were subsequently written down in the field notes containing what was seen, heard, witnessed, experienced, and findings about whatwas encountered during the research and comprised data collection plans for the nextstep. ABSTRACTPublic Relations of the Pandeglang Regency Government is a bridge for thepublic to find out information about policies or programs implemented byPandeglang Regency Government. Public Relations of Pandeglang RegencyGovernment also has an important role in shaping, improving or maintaining imageof Pandeglang Regency Government. This study aims to determine the strategy forcompiling and conveying the messages as well as information disseminationstrategies implemented by the Public Relations of Pandeglang Regency through themedia. This research uses Post-positivism paradigm. The method used is a casestudy with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this study wereobservation, interviews and documentation. The informant selection technique usedpurposive sampling. The theory used in this research is the theory of informationintegration. The results showed that the strategy used by Public Relations ofPandeglang Regency was to maintain image of the government in the process ofcompiling and conveying the messages in a structured, informative manner andchemistry at work. The Public Relations strategy of Pandeglang Regency indisseminating information through the media is to establish good relations with the media crew and use social media, especially the Instagram social media accountwhich is managed by the Public Relations and Protocol of Pandeglang Regency.Keywords: Public relations strategy, Pandeglang Regency, government image

Abstract

ABSTRACT Biographical documentaries are documentaries that relate to stories someone's life. Biographical documentaries tell the story of a well-known person broad, has greatness, uniqueness, or other interesting aspects. On The documentary entitled "Mr. Diman's Batik Knife" tells the story of the knife's creator Metal batik is Mr. Sudiman who comes from Krengseng Village, Kalirandu, Bangunjiwo, Kasihan, Bantul. The aim of making this documentary program is: to find out the background of the character who found the idea to make batik knife medium. In this documentary work the author acts as a script writer, Responsible for creating the script with the director. Writer uses descriptive techniques in this documentary program to provide a factual and accurate description of the object being investigated. Technique The descriptive method used is in the form of observations carried out directly with observe, record and see directly how the daily lives of the characters and also batik knife production process. By using descriptive techniques the author can gain a lot information, so that the manuscript presented is in accordance with the techniques used director is expository, therefore this documentary can be used as media of information and delivery of messages that are interesting and can be consumed various groups. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe finished work "Lelabuh Roso Ing Merapi" was made into an audio visualwork after undergoing a long process from pre-production to post-production which tookmonths. In the production, the writer acts as a director who regulates all kinds ofconditions for making the work, starting from the idea being developed until the end ofthe work editing process. The director is not only responsible as a leader in the productionof a work, but also as a technical advisor for both camera and writing, as a developer ofideas which are then maximized with the script writer, and observing how the work can bedisplayed in the desired media, in this case YouTube. The director as the writer, uses anexpository style, combined with an observational directing style, with the hope ofstrengthening the naturalness of the visuals, and also aims to show the other side of theoffering itself. The work that has been created with a duration of 24 minutes is inaccordance with the provisions applicable by the academic authorities. It is hoped thateverything from this work can provide new information, so that it can indirectly be usedas knowledge for the general public, from young to old, so that they know more about theother side of the cultures or traditions that were once upheld by their ancestors, who nowit is still preserved for the people who believe and believe in it. Abstract

ABSTRACT Mosques are not only places used for ritual worship, but also as a means for carrying out social activities, education, and as a means of strengthening social interaction in society. The Jogokariyan Mosque, located in Mantrijeron District, Jogjakarta City, has successfully transformed into a mosque that is famous for its good and innovative management and programs, especially during the month of Ramadan where there is the Jogokariyan Ramadhan Village Festival. This content is suitable to be presented in an audio-visual work in feature format. This feature work entitled "Pijar Islam Jogokaryan Mosque episode" tells about the presenter's journey to visit the Jogokariyan Mosque which is famous for its good and innovative programs. Viewers are invited to tour the Jogokariyan Mosque directly from interviews with sources. This work is included as a seasonal feature because it is presented for the Ramadhan program with a duration of 24 minutes. In this feature, the director has control over all technical and creative aspects by using an interactive approach, where interviews are the main thing to build the storyline. Interaction is not only carried out with sources, but also with viewers at home. The results of this audio visual work will show the beauty of the natural landscape, human interest, architecture and diverse ornaments in Yogyakarta with an Islamic pattern. It is hoped that this will lead to an atmosphere of a religious journey that is full of beauty and is expected to provide a complete picture in accordance with the director's wishes.
