Abstract

Village potential is all the power that the village has and has the possibility to be developed so that it can be used as an effort to improve the welfare of the village community. Slempit Village is one of the villages in Kedamean District, Gresik Regency. One of the village potentials owned by Slempit Village is Cow's Milk. Cow's milk in Slempit Village is generally only distributed to distributors. However, if the cow's milk is processed into other processed products, it will be able to add value to the product and also increase the selling value. The Real Work Lecture Team at University of PGRI Adi Buana Surabaya conducted counseling on making organic milk based soap to local mothers. This activity was warmly welcomed by the local residents because in addition to increasing local knowledge about processing milk into soap, it can also be used as a source of livelihood for local residents. This activity was chosen by the aim of besides exploiting local potential, it can also maximize the function of milk for the body.

Abstract

Because it has a favorable effect on mothers - the mother herself - ecoprint training with the pounding technique, which was described to the women of the Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) group in Pranti Village, Sedati District, Sidoarjo Regency, is an activity that needs to be carried out regularly between PKK women in Pranti village. This group of women initially displayed lower levels of daily productivity. Their daily activities changed after undergoing ecoprint instruction using the hammering technique. This training is delivered face-to-face in phases and includes briefing approaches, talks, handouts on the making process, and practice. Women from the PKK group can soon discover her instructions because the ecoprint process is less sophisticated, practical, and easier than the batik technique, and the tools and materials are readily available. Additionally, the materials used, especially different types of leaves, are easily accessible in the area surrounding the property. Tote bags, long fabrics, and clothing can all be produced using the outcomes of ecoprint training combined with the pounding process.

Abstract

Kahoot and Quizizz are learning platforms that can be used to view student knowledge based on games. This application can be used as an ice breaker to raise student interest in learning. Quizizz and Kahoot applications can be used for all lessons. So that this mentoring activity aims to make teachers at SMPN 37 Pekanbaru able to take advantage of the Quizizz and Kahoot applications in learning so as to create a learning environment that attracts students' interest in learning and is able to make meaningful assessments for students. The implementation method begins with the delivery of material in a classical manner, followed by a question and answer session and mentoring in making quizzes through the kahoot and quizizz applications that are adapted to the material that the teacher is capable of. As a result of this service activity, teachers at SMPN 37 Pekanbaru as training participants have received assistance in using the Kahoot and Quizizz applications in learning. In this training the teachers have made quizzes and exercises using the Kahoot and Quizizz applications to be tested in their respective classes. In this training, teachers are very interested in preparing interactive technology-based learning tools.

Abstract

Aquaponic cultivation is a technique that is very easy to implement in Sidoraharjo Village because it has narrow land. Aquaponics is an aquaculture activity that is integrated with hydroponic activities. developing two different commodities, fish and vegetables in a   Maintenance system on narrow landAquaponic technology is a combination of aquaculture technology and hydroponic technology in  one system to optimize the function of water and space as a rearing medium. The plants will receive organic Aquaponic technology is a combination of aquaculture technology and hydroponic technology in  one system to optimize the function of water and space as a rearing medium. The plants will receive organic fertilizer automatically from the remaining feed and fish waste. The advantage of using aquaponic cultivation is that plant nutrients can be obtained from feces and leftover fish food that settles at the bottom of the pond, so that quality water is produced that meets standards for fish farming. The stability of dissolved oxygen in water will be obtained from a water recirculation system in the form of a shower that results in collisions with pool water. In addition, the production of plants cultivated with the aquaponic system will be better than conventional because of the availability of sufficient water and additional nutrients from fish feces and food scraps.

Abstract

The development of Home Industry is carried out as a support for improving the welfare of the community. The development of small industries will help to overcome the problem of unemployment. The development of an increasingly advanced era, especially in the era that is starting to enter 5.0, namely a society that can solve various challenges and social problems by utilizing various innovations born in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. Banyuurip Village has a small starch cracker business produced by the mothers of the residents of Miru Hamlet. The marketing process that runs traditionally with on-site orders and orders through WhatsApp alone has an impact on the lack of widespread marketing of starch crackers. The program of building the signpost of the Pati Cracker center has been implemented smoothly and well. The program received a warm welcome from the Village Head, Hamlet Head and the community. It is recommended that more develop and run programs to develop and advance Banyuurip Village.

Abstract

Reducing plastic waste is a shared responsibility not only for the government through making regulations such as PERDA (Regional Regulation), but also society as a whole. One thing that can be done is to use a shopping bag that can be used many times, for example a tote bag or tote bag. There are lots of different types of tote bags, ranging from the plain ones to the different looks. In addition to being able to use plain tote bags, they can also be decorated to make them look nicer and can also be resold. Because of this, training and practice of decorating tote bags was carried out. The activity was carried out by providing counseling as well as practice and assistance to members of youth organizations and youth women's mosques in Turirejo Village, Kedamean District, Gresik Regency by utilizing existing plant leaves for materials for making ecoprint tote bags. The purpose of this activity is to increase the creativity and productivity of youth members and mosque youth who are expected to become ecoprint tote bag craftsmen, as well as economic empowerment which is expected to increase income and encourage increased welfare. The methods and stages of the activities carried out are conducting material presentations then followed by live demonstrations and practice of making ecoprint tote bags. The result of this training is that members of youth organizations and mosque youth have become more trained in making ecoprint tote bags. It is hoped that the skills acquired can encourage creativity, productivity and the economy. From a small existing group, it can become bigger by creating a business unit with a variety of other products on the basis of an ecoprint that can prosper the surrounding community, especially Turirejo Village.

Abstract

Residents of Betro Village have potential in the form of many butterfly pea plants that thrive in every yard of their house. However, these beautiful flowers are only used as ornamental plants. Seeing this potential, Adi Buana PGRI University's KKN students took the initiative to conduct education or socialization as a whole regarding the benefits of butterfly pea flowers for health which can then also be processed into delicious food but still nutritious. Besides that, it is also able to provide new business opportunities and has the potential to generate additional economic income. The objectives of this activity include providing insight into the butterfly pea flower regarding its benefits, potential and processed food that can be produced. This service method integrates KKN-T activities and community service from tertiary institutions. The result of this service is that the women of Betro Village can understand more about the benefits, potential and processed food that can be produced from the butterfly pea flower, so they can have an independent business and come up with entrepreneurial ideas by utilizing the butterfly pea flower around them.

Abstract

The computer laboratory functions as a place to develop skills in information and communication technology (ICT). Therefore, management of ICT laboratories is needed to assist and facilitate the learning process for teachers and students. The observation results show that most of the teachers still do not understand information and communication technology laboratories in elementary schools. Therefore, in this community service, training and assistance are provided in the management of the Information and Communication Technology Laboratory (ICT). The results of the dedication show that all respondents stated that this training was useful and very useful for managing ICT laboratories in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research aims to manufacture charcoal briquettes as an environmentally friendly alternative fuel. This research utilizes wood waste and citrus recycling. Aromatherapy briquettes are the latest innovation to increase the added value of charcoal briquettes which havebeen limited as the newest alternative energy. Aromatherapy briquettes are a mixture of charcoal powder and lime leaves. This study aims to increase the selling value of charcoal briquettes, as well as boost the economy of the people in Candiharjo village. The method used in this study is observation and interviews through several stages, starting from design, and observation of service targets. This research was produced as a solution to the constraints that existed in the village of Candiharjo in processing wood waste that had not pin used properly before. So in the manufacture of charcoal briquettes is expected to reduce wood waste and increase the selling value.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pelatihan ini untuk memberikan Pendampingan Assembling Alas Kaki pada Industri Kecil Menengah. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan langkah-langkah yang terdiri terdiri dari 3 tahap: (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, dan (3) evaluasi. Hasil pelatihan ini didapatkan bahwa Dari hasil Pendampingan Assembling Alas Kaki pada Industri Kecil Menengah (IKM) yang sudah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Peserta dapat memahami dengan baik proses assembling mulai dari pembuatan pola bottom maupun pada praktek lasting dan perakitan antara upper dan outsole. Selain itu, semua peserta memperoleh rekomendasi lulus uji kompetensi assembling alas kaki.
