Abstract

Technology-based learning is a form of adaptation of education to technological advances. The development of technological advances has led the world of education to adapt to global demands, both in the learning process and in the use of learning media. Gamification in the world of education can be defined to include game elements and elements in the learning environment, both the learning process and learning evaluation. The purpose of mentoring socialization at SDN Tanjungsari 1 is to introduce gamification support applications in education so that they can create innovative and interactive learning. The supporting applications used in this mentoring socialization are quizwhizzer and genially. The supporting application is an application that is quite easy to use and also has an attractive interface for elementary students. Mentoring is carried out twice, namely first discussing the use of quizwhizzer and making game elements in the quiz that will be applied. Meanwhile, at the second meeting, it was the use of genially in supporting learning using gamification in the form of online board games that were integrated with the ongoing learning theme.

Abstract

The Merdeka Belajar curriculum is packaged simply and in-depth which is focused on the essential and development of student competencies according to the level of its phase. The characteristics of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum include (1) project-based learning to develop soft skills and character in accordance with the profile of Pancasila Students, (2) focused on essential materials such as literacy and numeracy, and (3) flexible for teachers to carry out learning according to the abilities of students and make adjustments to local contexts and local content. In accordance with the rules of Law Number 20 of 2003 which states that the right of all Indonesian citizens to obtain education is no exception for children with special needs (ABK). Therefore, the Extraordinary School (SLB) also implements the Independent Learning Curriculum in accordance with the predetermined phases for students with special needs. By paying attention to the results of the analysis of these conditions, the PPM team of Special Education Lecturers provided training and assistance related to the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum and focused on the practical strategy of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum. The partner in this PPM activity is MGPK Special Assistance Teacher for Junior High Schools (SMP) in Surabaya. The problem faced by partners is the practical strategy implemented in the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to provide an understanding of the use of the quizizz application through training and assistance in the use of the quizizz application as a learning medium at the Muhammadiyah 1 Taman High School, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java Province. This training activity is a form of training and mentoring to increase awareness of the importance of understanding the use of digital and technology platforms. Implementation methods with workshops such as presentation models, lectures, discussions, and counseling. The results of the study provide an answer that the quality of student understanding lies in the creativity of the teacher in the use of interesting digital platforms such as the quizizz application. So, providing training and assistance related to the use of the quizizz application is important, especially for teachers and especially for high schools for students who are enthusiastic about learning.

Abstract

Psychological preparation for face-to-face learning requires deep focus. This is because each individual has different readiness related to learning not only from parents but also from children. Therefore, assistance is needed for parents and children to be able to adapt in facing face-to-face learning. The method used in this PPM activity is lectures and discussions with parents. The result of this PPM activity is that parents have new understanding and knowledge that can be used as a reference for them how to behave psychologically in dealing with face-to-face learning. In addition, life in a family that is conducive and mutually supportive of one another will create a happy and comfortable atmosphere so that children are motivated to participate in face-to-face learning. Therefore, parents are expected to be able to control emotions, think positively, modify the environment and build positive energy.

Abstract

Today the world is facing a post-disaster, namely the Covid-19 pandemic, so the government has limited all activities outside the home. One of the government's steps to maintain economic conditions is to strengthen the role of MSMEs and maintain health. The purpose of this service activity is according to the objectives of MSMEs, which include: the hijab trend is growing from time to time, especially in the field of women's fashion. Departing from this phenomenon, the service team hopes that the women in Ujung Pangkah-Gresik can create hijab creations with patchwork so that they themselves can create their own without spending a lot of capital. Therefore, this service team intends to teach the skills of making hijabs that vary from patchwork to women so that they can create and market their own hijab creations or develop it as a home industry in this era of the covid 19 pandemic. The method used in this activity is. The first is the introduction and socialization of the hijab from patchwork. The introduction in question is to provide examples of products and how to make them. Second, scheduling is training with systematic and unidirectional time management. Availability and cooperation with Partners. The result of this service, various forms of hijab from patchwork that can be circulated in the market whose patterns and prices vary greatly. With a piece of patchwork and added with a few beads, the two materials can be transformed into an elegant hijab with a market price of tens of thousands .

Abstract

The implementation of community service to provide knowledge and implementation of media and assistive technology in the Merdeka Belajar curriculum in inclusive schools. The implementation method is a). planning, b). implementation and c). evaluation. The results obtained based on the results of the training implementation can be concluded that the training carried out can provide knowledge and reinforcement for teachers in using learning media and assistive technology in the independent learning curriculum. The success of increasing participants' knowledge is shown by the average value of the pre-test results from 63.41 increasing to 82.25 in the post-test average value.

Abstract

The development of technology and information is growing very fast. Learning Physics is a science that refers to natural phenomena. Physics in the delivery of material in class is done by using lectures, demos, and practicum methods in the laboratory. Many physics teachers are not optimal in utilizing technology. In this activity the author tries to contribute to guiding high school teachers in Tegal City in making a simulation-based virtual laboratory using the help of modellus software. In this activity, teachers are expected to understand how to create and develop a simulation-based virtual laboratory with the help of modellus software. Community Service Activities (PKM) are carried out online or distance learning in order to prevent the transmission of COVID-19. In general, participants rated the activity as 5% Fair, 75% Good and 20% Very Good

Abstract

The competence of elementary school teachers in the preparation of AKM-based character development indicators needs to be a concern. Most of the teachers at SDN Sumur Welut III Surabaya, the teachers do not have experience in compiling AKM-based character development indicators. The purpose of this community service is to improve the competence of elementary school teachers in compiling AKM-based character development indicators. The intended target is the teacher of SDN Sumur Welut III Surabaya. This activity is carried out in the form of training and workshops, starting with material presentations, discussions, and workshops with the assistance of lecturers and assisted by students during group work. The results of the activity show that: (1) there is an increase in the understanding and skills of teachers in preparing AKM-based character development indicators; (2) The response of this training participant showed a positive response.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to broaden students' knowledge about marketing, especially digital marketing. Entrepreneurship as one of the materials in the SMK curriculum has been successfully implemented as an alternative in producing graduates who have had an average career as employees, become entrepreneurs who are able to make a product or service and sell it to the market. However, in practice students only learn how to make and sell, not to market and develop their business. Meanwhile, the world is currently entering the era of e-commerce where the majority of products are marketed via the internet. This service activity is carried out to increase students' insight and skills in order to develop and expand the market for selling their products so that it will increase business turnover. The training is carried out using a workshop method, where students practice marketing their products through Instagram and Facebook. After that, an evaluation of the increase in customer engagement is carried out. From the results of the evaluation, it was found that engagement increased by 20% after being paid to promote students' business social media.

Abstract

This community service is targeted to Musyawarah Guru Pendidikan Khusus (MGPK) Kota Surabaya, totaling 35 Guru Pendamping Khusus (GPK). The problem faced by partners is the lack of information related to the Kurikulum Merdeka which is now the focus of the school. Especially for special education where there is not much info related to it. Seeing these problems, the service team provided a solution in the form of training on the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka to target partners. The training is carried out online and offline. The implementation of community service consists of activities, namely: 1) online training , 2) offline training, and 3) assistance. This community service was held from April 1 to April 31, 2022. The result of this community service program is an increase in knowledge about the implementation of Kurikulum Merdeka and an increase in the skills of participants in compiling an teaching module.
