Abstract

Permainan tradisional sangatlah populer sebelum teknologi masuk ke Indonesia. Dahulu, anak-anak bermain dengan menggunakan alat yang seadanya. Namun kini, mereka sudah bermain dengan permainan-permainan berbasis teknologi yang berasal dari luar negeri dan mulai meninggalkan mainan tradisional. Seiring dengan perubahan zaman, Permainan tradisional perlahan -lahan mulai terlupakan oleh anak-anak Indonesia. Bahkan, tidak sedikit dari mereka yang sama sekali belum mengenal permainan tradisional. Khususnya permainan tradisional yang sering ada di setiap daerah , seperti permainan petak umpet, gundu atau kelereng, lompat tali, gobak sodor (gale-galean) adu ayam dan ular naga panjang. Terkait dengan hal ini, muncul ide untuk membuat karya tentang Permainan Tradisional yang terpacu ingin ikut serta untuk melestarikan permainan tradisional yang hampir terlupakan. Berbagai macam Permainan Tradisional ini ditampilkan dalam Fotografi Dokumenter dengan mempertimbangkan unsur-unsur visual dan pengorganisasiannya, landasan teori penciptaan dan teknik fotografi. Observasi langsung ke tempat yang termasuk kawasan permainan tradisional yang hampir terlupakan dilakukan untuk mengetahui jenis permainan yang telah terlupakan yang akan difoto. Pengetahuan tentang teknik fotografi dan pengolahan pada komputer setelah pemotretan sangat membantu untuk mencapai tujuan yang lebih optimal. Melalui karya Permainan Tradisional di Desa Tua Tabanan dalam Fotografi Dokumenter ini diharapkan dapat memberikan inspirasi dalam pembuatan karya berikutnya dengan hasil yang memuaskan.

Abstract

Makanan Korea merupakan masakan yang tumbuh dari budaya dan lingkungan Korea, memiliki citra rasa masakan yang tergolong unik mulai dari segi rasa, penataan, dan penyajiannya sehingga menjadi daya tarik setiap orang. Menvisualisasikan ide makanan Korea yang terdiri dari makanan pembuka atau appetizer, makanan tengah atau main course dan makanan penutup atau dessert menggunakan teknik-teknik fotografi. Pengumpulam data dalam penciptaan karya menggunakan metode observasi dan metode eksperimen. Metode observasi digunakan untuk mengamati langsung makanan Korea yang disajikan pada sebuah restoran “Chingu” dan food photography digunakan untuk membuat foto makanan menjadi lebih hidup, serta melakukan wawancara dengan pemilik restoran mengenai makanan Korea. Metode eksperimen dengan melakukan percobaan pada saat tahap pemotretan, mencoba menggunakan cahaya buatan dan bereksperimen dengan angle yang berbeda-beda. Dilanjutkan proses pengeditan yang dilakukan dengan pemilihan foto dan mencoba-coba dengan mengubah gelap terang, croping, penghapusan objek-objek yang mengganggu, hingga menghasilkan keserasian hasil pengeditan dengan konsepnya. Setelah melalui berbagai proses hingga penciptaan terhadap food fotografi, didapatlah kesimpulan yaitu: pencipta dapat memahami makanan Korea dan memperkenalkan kepada masyarakat melalui sebuah karya visual. Penguasaan nilai-nilai estetika juga sangat berperan untuk memberi nilai keindahan dalam sebuah karya fotografi. Visualisasi karya foto ini mengangkat makanan Korea sebagai upaya untuk menyampaikan citra rasa masakan Korea yang menonjolkan unsur rasa, tekstur, warna, bentuk dan selera melalui visualnya

Abstract

Banjar Binoh Kaja merupakan Banjar yang terletak di kelurahan Ubung Kaja wilayah kecamatan Denpasar Barat. Perajin gerabah di Banjar Binoh Kaja sebagian besar perempuan dengan umur yang relatif sudah tua untuk bekerja sebagai perajin gerabah. Kurangnya peminat generasi muda untuk mempertahankan kerajinan gerabah di Banjar Binoh Kaja menjadi sebuah inspirasi bagi pencipta untuk menciptakan karya fotografi yang berjudul Kehidupan Perajin Gerabah Banjar Binoh Kaja Desa Ubung Kaja Kota Denpasar Dalam Fotografi Story. Penciptaan karya ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui cara pembuatan foto story Kehidupan Perajin Gerabah Banjar Binoh Kaja dengan menerapkan unsur-unsur visual dan teknik fotografi dalam mewujudkan ide dari pencipta dalam karya foto, dan selain itu untuk mempromosikan gerabah Banjar Binoh Kaja untuk menjadi pusat wisata kerajinan di Kota Denpasar. Penciptaan karya fotografi ini berawal dari melakukan observasi yang merupakan pengamatan langsung ke lapangan, dan melakukan wawancara terhadap perajin gerabah agar mampu mendapatkan data yang lengkap. Dari hasil pemotretan dilanjutkan dengan proses pemilihan foto yang terbaik, dan pada tahap akhir dilakukannya proses editing dan pencetakan. Melalui karya fotografi Story mengenai Kehidupan Perajin Gerabah Banjar Binoh Kaja ini, diharapkan kepada generasi muda agar mampu melestarikan dan mempertahankan kerajinan gerabah di Banjar Binoh Kaja sebagai kerajinan tradisional Bali yang harus dijaga.

Abstract

Jember Regency is a regency located in the province of East Java, Indonesia. Jember Regency is rich in reliable tourism objects and has great opportunities to be developed in the future. There are various natural attractions that save many small paradises that are still not widely known to the public. The creation of this work aims to introduce tourist objects to the wider community in Jember Regency in Landscape photography works. In making this Landscape photography work, the creator has the opportunity to know more and introduce various tourism places in Jember Regency to the wider community. The emergence of the idea started from the creator who likes to take landscape photos where landscape photos are divided into various kinds and the creator was born in the city of Jember, so the creator wants to learn more about landscape photography and introduce tourist objects to the wider community in Jember Regency in the work of Landscape photography. The creator uses the method of exploration, observation and literature study in order to get maximum results. After doing these three methods, the creator took pictures of various tourist objects in the city of Jember. These tourist objects consist of Papuma Beach in Lojejer Village, Payangan Beach and Teluk Love in Sumberrejo Village, Tea Gambir Gardens in Sumberbaru Village, Damar Wulan Waterfall in Ledokombo Village, Sucopangepok Rice Fields. View of Sucopangepok Village and SJ88 in Sucopangepok Village, Tobacco House in Mumbulsari Village, Dan Rejo Dam in Tempurejo Village and still some tourist attractions in Jember. Abstract

Palm sugar is sugar made from sap or palm tree juice. Most people prefer palm sugar because it is considered more fragrant, tasty and clean. Pedawa Village is a village that still maintains the tradition of making palm sugar known as "Ngelebengang". Palm sugar made by the people of Pedawa Village has clean characteristics, a sweet taste and quite strong resistance to hot temperatures which is the result of the unique process of making sugar by using facilities such as waluh, dadap wood and mangosteen leaves. This uniqueness gives the idea to make Pedawa Village palm sugar as an object in making story photography work with the aim of visualizing the process of making Pedawa Village palm sugar into photographic media in order to provide additional insight for writers and increase knowledge about the Ngelebengang process for the community. The creator applies the observation method regarding palm sugar in Pedawa Village by collecting data through website sources, journals and books and conducting direct interviews. In addition, the creator also uses EDFAT theory and aesthetic theory in the process of creating photo works. After the shooting process, the best photo selection stage is carried out which is continued to the image processing stage to the final stage of the creation process, namely the exhibition. As a result of the creation of this final project, the creator gets 15 pictures from visualization of the Ngelebengang tradition through a series of activities that have existed for generations in Pedawa Village to maintain ancestral traditions. In the process of shooting, the creator applies several photography techniques, including stop action, framing and the application of lighting exposure through the use of an external flash. Abstract

The creator was interested in bringing up the theme of Making Tiles in Pejaten Village in Documentary Photography because of the modern roof tiles from outside Bali which could be a threat from the existence of pejaten tiles. Pejaten Village has been famous for its tile making from the past until now. Pejaten tile has a characteristic that is on the tile product there is the name "Pejaten" which is made with a direct printing technique from a tile mold made with a press. The purpose of this creation is to document the making of pejaten roof tiles in documentary photography. In the process of creating this photographic work, the creator uses the method of creation, namely direct observation by visiting the tile craftsmen in Pejaten Village and conducting interviews to find out how the roof tiles are made in Pejaten Village and the creator also observes the condition and situation of the object to be photographed and The creator applies several photography techniques into his photo works such as stop action, framing, point of view and lighting. The result of this creation is documentary photography which contains about the making of roof tiles starting from the selection of materials, mixing materials, printing, drying and finally the existence of making roof tiles in Pejaten Village is very important for the people there because the majority of the people there work as tile craftsmen and earn wages/salaries from selling. rooftile. Abstract

Environmental problems can result in the destruction of valuable nature such as forests, rivers, beaches and others, besides that environmental problem can also damage biodiversity which is very important for humans. Mother Earth as a picture of the Earth that is fertile in supporting the living things in it. To convey the meaning contained in the visualization work of Dewi Pertiwi, the creator conveys the meaning contained in the work of Dewi Pertiwi in expression photography, so that it can be understood by the general public. In the creation of this work the creator used digital imaging techniques. The creator uses the exploratory method and the observation method. In translating the Visualization of Dewi Pertiwi into visual works, the creator uses a semiotic theory which not only examines the denotative level to the connotative level, in addition to building the aesthetic value in this work the creator uses the aesthetic theory of photography. In the preparation of the work also pay attention to the visual elements. The visual elements in this work show more natural damage than the 4 elements in Panca Maha Butha, namely, fire, earth, water, air, accompanied by colors, textures and lines that are set by the creator into image processing. In addition to these elements, this work also prioritizes composition, balance, and complexity in order to achieve a unity in realizing the Visualization of the Goddess of Mother Nature in Expression Photography. The message conveyed in this work is that one day photographic works can be used as a reflection of what is happening in nature today, including as a form of awareness, reminder and the importance of protecting nature. In making each work, it must have a meaning and beauty value in each of his works, so that photography can be accepted more widely by the community. Abstract

Down syndrome is a genetic disorder that causes sufferers to have a low level of intelligence and experience a distinctive abnormality on the sufferer's face, the WHO data estimates that 3000 to 5000 babies are born with this condition each year, until now in Indonesia concern for children with Down syndrome is still relatively minimal, especially in Bali, due to lack of knowledge about children with special needs with Down syndrome, so many people still isolate children with Down syndrome. The purpose of the creator of using Down syndrome as an object of research is to change the stigma of people who consider Down syndrome to be small and to visualize "Singaraja Special School Down Syndrome Children's Activities in Documentary Photography" so that they get several benefits, namely for creators, they can apply the knowledge gained in lectures. , for Institutions can provide references, and add insight to each individual, for the community can provide information about the activities of children with Down syndrome. In the process of creating a photographic work, the creator uses several methods, including the observation method, literature study, and the interview method, after carrying out the method used as material for the creation of a photographic work, the creator uses EDFAT theory and aesthetics, after using several methods and theories in the creation process, the creator gets a conclusion and the results of 15 documentary photos, regarding the activities of children with Down syndrome Singaraja SLB School, among others, folding clothes, children's learning activities, playing activities and other activities. Abstract

Lengis Tandusan is coconut oil that is traditionally processed and has a distinctive aroma, since the COVID-19 pandemic the production and distribution of lengis Tandusan has been slow. However, this home-based business is still running, it can even continue to grow so as to provide creative ideas by visualizing the Process of Making Lengis Tandusan in Dawan Klod Village, Klungkung Regency in Story Photography and aiming to develop creativity and apply photography techniques in the creation of works. The creation of this photographic work began with collecting data through scientific books, journals and news. The creation process carried out direct observations in the field, conducted interviews on the manufacture of barren lengis in order to obtain complete data and took photos. From the results of the photo shoot, it is continued with the process of selecting the best photos, followed by the editing and printing process and the final stage, namely the exhibition. The result of the creation of the process of making barren lengis in the arrangement of 15 photographic works with the title A Coconut Picker, Coconut Middleman, Separating Coconut Shells, Peeling Coconuts, Grated Coconut Flesh, Grated Coconut Flesh, Coconut Squeezing, Woman Taking Saang, Nandusin, Stirring Coconut Milk, Filtering Klengis, Final Process, Lengis Tandusan, Mepes Klengis and Saur. The techniques used in the creation of this work include frog eye view, eye level, bird eye view, high angle, framing and lighting utilizing natural light from sunlight and artificial light from external flash as fill in light or additional light in the process of shooting the work. photography. Abstract

Bali is one of the provinces in Indonesia which has a variety of unique arts, cultures and customs. From the various kinds of arts, culture and customs in Bali, it is inseparable from Hindu religious activities in general in Bali. One of them is cockfighting or commonly called tajen. Cockfighting is one of the cultures of the Hindu community in Bali to offer blood as a ritual in Hinduism known as tabuh rah. The author uses Expression Photography in realizing this work, because he wants to show tajen from a different angle and wants to be more free to explore, express, imagine, the author's experience related to the tajen phenomenon in Bali. Through digital processing, which is controlled by the author with Photoshop software, objects can be manipulated, adding or subtracting objects in order to get a work that has a maximum visual appearance. To further strengthen this, the author utilizes the theoretical basis of aesthetics and semiotics in photographic works and maximizes visual elements in photographic works. The data used in this work are secondary data and primary data. The creator's data collection process uses a qualitative method, which is a method used to observe the environment and the documentation method through digital photo camera recordings, which is then followed by image processing on computer software. The process of observing the creation of this work is done by observing objects related to the making of Expression Photography before taking a photo. At the shooting stage, data collection is also carried out on the angle of shooting / camera angle against the object and the angle of light on the object.
