Abstract

As an agricultural country, agriculture in Indonesia is one of the most important economic sectors in the national economy, one of which is clove farming. The research was conducted in a clove tree plantation located in the Purwakarta area. Data collection was carried out by interviews and giving the Nordic Body Map questionnaire to clove farmers. This data collection was aimed at 5 respondents with the aim of finding out complaints and several suggestions from clove farmers. The results of the Nordic Body Map Questionnaire data, the highest rank results were obtained, namely pain in the soles of the left foot and right foot with 3 people answering very painful and 2 people answering painful, to the lowest namely pain in the back, upper waist and lower waist with a total of 4 people answered sick and 1 person answered a bit sick. After obtaining physical complaints with the Nordic Body Map, then carry out REBA analysis to determine the REBA score when farmers climb clove trees and harvest clove flowers. After obtaining the REBA score, the score obtained from climbing clove trees was 8, which means it has a high level of risk and requires investigation and implementation changes to reduce the risk of physical complaints in farmers, while the score from harvesting clove flowers is 12, which means it has a very high level of risk. high and implementation changes are needed to reduce the risk of physical complaints among farmers. For product dimensions, the product dimensions are obtained, namely that the clove tree climbing ladder product has a height of 500 cm. The distance per step is 35 cm. The length of the stair step is 50 cm.

Abstract

The research was conducted at an advertising company with the object of research being signage or advertisements with the purpose to improving the quality of production process, and increasing the efficiency value of the production process. Based on the results of field studies, waste occurs in the production process in the form of defects, overproduction and inventory waste. Data collection was carried out by direct observation at the company, and interviews with the operational director. It was found that the average percentage of embossed signage defects in January to June 2023 was 6%. The method used to overcome this problem is Lean Six Sigma with the DMAIC stages (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). The define stage uses SIPOC and CTQ diagrams to identify problems. The measure stage will use WAM to identify waste. The PCE value obtained at the measure stage was 56.01%, and the DPMO and sigma values were 22,742 and 3.5. Next, an analysis of the causes of the problem is carried out at the analyze stage. The analysis was carried out with the help of tools in the form of fishbone diagrams, why-why analysis, and FMEA. In FVSM, PCE was found to be 58.26%, which indicates that there has been an increase in the efficiency of the production process. Based on the results of the analysis, suggestions for improvements are provided to improve the quality of production and production processes at the company. At the control stage, control is carried out on the results of proposed improvements strictly before recalculation is carried out after implementing the improvements.

Abstract

Dalam era industri saat ini, keberlanjutan menjadi aspek krusial dalam mengelola operasional perusahaan. Fokus penelitian ini adalah pada rantai pasok produk medis habis pakai yang didistribusikan oleh sebuah perusahaan distributor peralatan kesehatan. Produk medis habis pakai memiliki siklus pemakaian singkat, berpotensi memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap lingkungan. Produk ini sering menghadapi masalah seperti penuaan inventaris, yang meningkatkan risiko produk kedaluwarsa karena kurangnya penjualan, dan akhirnya dapat berujung pada penumpukan limbah. Selain itu, peningkatan emisi CO2 yang disebabkan oleh transportasi yang tidak ramah lingkungan memberikan dampak negatif tambahan pada lingkungan. Solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini melibatkan implementasi pengukuran kinerja rantai pasok hijau. Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan pada setiap tahap rantai pasok menggunakan metode Green SCOR (Green Supply Chain Operation Reference) untuk mendekomposisi proses, dan AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) untuk memberikan bobot pada hierarki KPI. Hasil penilaian dengan Objective Matrix dan Traffic Light System menunjukkan bahwa hasil dari pengukuran kinerja GSCM secara keseluruhan adalah 5,482 yang berarti performa perusahaan dikatakan cukup dan membutuhkan perbaikan untuk mencapai target maksimum. Terdapat 10 indikator kinerja yang sudah baik, 4 indikator kinerja yang belum maksimal dan 4 indikator kinerja yang memerlukan perbaikan guna meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan. Perbaikan ini menjadi krusial untuk memastikan keselarasan rantai pasok dengan prinsip-prinsip lingkungan dan berkontribusi pada keberlanjutan usaha.

Abstract

UMKM atau Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah yang tergolong kedalam sektor bisnis adalah bidang jasa yaitu laundry. Penelitian dilakukan pada salah satu laundry yang terletak pada daerah Kelapa Gading, Jakarta Utara. Pada laundry tersebut kurang memiliki fasilitas yang sesuai dengan pekerjaan yang mereka lakukan yaitu menyetrika ataupun menggosok pakaian dengan menggunakan meja yang kurang ergonomis sehingga postur kerja menjadi kurang baik ataupun ergonomis. Berdasarkan kepada kuesioner NBM yang telah didapatkan bahwa para pekerja mengalami rasa sakit pada pagian tubuh sekitar leher, punggung, pinggang, dan bahu. Rasa sakit paling tinggi yang dirasakan oleh para pekerja adalah pada bagian punggung. Analisis postur kerja dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode REBA sehingga diperoleh bahwa kegiatan menyetrika maupun menggosok pakaian memiliki nilai resiko yang tinggi pada kesehatan dan harus untuk dilakukan sebuah perubahan yang maksimal. Modifikasi pada aspek ergonomis menggunakan metode SCAMPER. Modifikasi yang dilakukan akan disimulasikan dengan menggunakan Autodesk Fusion 360. Berdasarkan hasil modifikasi meja setrika laundry yang dilakukan diharapkan dapat untuk mengurangi beban kerja dan membantu memperbaiki postur kerja agar menjadi lebih ergonomis. Pada analisis REBA didapatkan skor 8 yang tergolong kedalam level high risk. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini untuk dapat mengetahui skor REBA yang selanjutnya akan digunakan dalam melakukan modifikasi terhadap meja setrika laundry. Berdasarkan nilai tersebut maka diperlukan modifikasi pada spesifikasi produk dengan dimensi panjang 120 cm, lebar 60 cm, dan tinggi 65 cm.

Abstract

Supplier selection is a very important thing in purchasing activities for companies to improve product quality. PT ATP is having difficulty choosing the best supplier. One of the methods used in supplier selection is the Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) method which is a method for solving a complex, unstructured situation into several components in a hierarchical arrangement, by giving subjective values about the relative importance of each variable, and in set variables. Based on the analysis of the selection of the highest ranking supplier for rockwool suppliers, namely PT. KNC with a weight of 0.471, PT. AI with a weight value of 0.331, and PT WIP with a weight value of 0.198. Meanwhile, for aluminum alloy products, the supplier PT. HIC with a weight of 0.698, PT. VII with a weight value of 0.215, PT SAI with a weight value of 0.008, and PT. MTS. The results from Fuzzy AHP show that the highest ranking for rockwool suppliers is PT. KNC with a weight of 0.471, PT. AI with a weight of 0.331, and PT WIP with a weight of 0.198. Meanwhile, for aluminum alloy, the best supplier is PT. HIC (0.698), PT. VII (0.215), PT SAI (0.008), and PT. MTS (0.079).

Abstract

As a company that continues to make progress and various innovations, one of the pharmaceutical companies in Jakarta continues to make continuous improvements, especially in production effectiveness and efficiency. Line 2 – CJ 3 machine is a packaging machine for liquid products which located in the black area and it has the highest running time. Based on production results and defect data for the period January 2023 to July 2023, this machine produces an average of around 23.439% defects and has various problems that affect production efficiency. The aim of this research is to determine the level of machine effectiveness using the OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) method, identifying factors that influence the OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) value using Six Big Losses analysis, Pareto Diagram, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis), and provide suggestions for improvements and recommendations by implementing TPM (Total Product Maintenance). Based on research, the average of OEE value for Line 2 – CJ 3 machine was 47.676% and the average of reduced speed losses value was 24.999% as the bigest six big losses. The results of analysis using a fishbone diagram show that the influencing factors are man, machine, method, and material. The highest RPN (Risk Priority Number) value obtained was 294 and the lowest was 70. The improvements using TPM will be focused on Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, and Education and Training.

Abstract

Fuel Oil Meter (BBM), hereinafter referred to as Flow Meter, is a dynamic fluid measuring instrument for fuel oil which consists of a measuring body and a calculating body to measure the volume of liquid flowing through the measuring body. The research was carried out by conducting a survey and qualitatively, namely distributing questionnaires. In this study the population was 10 people. Interviews and filling out the Nordic Body Map questionnaire were distributed to ten workers who were carrying out tests at Public Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU). It is known that the greatest extent is directed at the sole of the left foot and pain in the sole of the right foot. After measuring and analyzing body posture in each working position, REBA calculations are then carried out for each working position. At the trolley design stage, the development of ergonomic trolley innovations is analyzed using the SWOT method to determine weaknesses, opportunities and dangers. In developing an idea, a technique is needed to solve problems creatively, namely by using SCAMPER. By using SCAMPER and SWOT, a product has been created that meets the desires of consumers, namely by adding adequate features and in accordance with the needs of workers to cover worker complaints, including a water level feature that is embedded in the surface base for placing vessels to make it easier for workers to level the terrain. which is assisted by a bottle jack which can affect the results of the test. This ergonomic trolley has a length of 125cm and a width of 85cm, a vessel base with a diameter of 60cm and 3 bottle jacks embedded in the surface of the trolley.

Abstract

In modern times, there are many large companies operating in various fields, one of which is a company operating in the industrial sector. This garment factory is a large company located in the Cirebon area which operates in the garment sector. The garment products from this garment factory have been sold nationally and internationally with garments ranging from children's clothing to adult clothing. However, in 2020 this company is focused on producing sports pants garments ordered by buyers in the United States. This factory has produced defects in garment products for the last 2 years with a figure reaching 25% of total production. Therefore, in this research, a product quality improvement strategy was carried out using the Six Sigma (DMAIC) method and examining the quality costs incurred by the company. Defects found in garment factories include pinholes, dirt, wrinkles, broken stitches, poor trimming, and skipping. The most common defect is "skipping". Based on the DPMO and sigma level calculations, the company's DPMO value is 127,199.735 and the sigma value is 2.37 during July 2023 to October 2023. By using these two methods the aim is to provide a quality improvement strategy and find out the quality costs that can function effective in order to provide benefits for the company.

Abstract

Pharmaceutical Companies are manufacturing industries operating in the pharmaceutical sector where these companies produce solid, semi-solid and liquid product extractions. In the production process in the packaging section in dense areas as the object in this research, it is not uncommon to experience waste in the form of product defects such as dirty blisters, ciplongs, and so on, as well as non-value added activities. To solve this problem, a lean six sigma approach was carried out through the DMAIC stages. This research aims to find out the types of waste, find out the main causes of product defects, find out the DPMO value and sigma level, and provide solutions in the form of suggestions to overcome existing problems to Pharmaceutical Companies. Through the definition stage, it is known that the object of this research is product The data collection method used is through observation, interviews and questionnaires. Based on the known measurement results/calculations and analysis, it can be seen that the company's PCE value is 14.93%, the company's DPMO value is 3.477 with a sigma level of 4.20. Through the Pareto diagram, 3 main wastes were identified, namely defects at 23.08%, waiting at 23.05%, inventory at 17.28%. This shows the need for improvement efforts to increase productivity and production efficiency of product X in Pharmaceutical Companies. After carrying out the analysis, suggestions for improvements are given according to the problems that occur, such as creating OPL, checksheets, SMED, and so on. After implementation, it was found that the PCE value had increased to 19.59%, the DPMO value had decreased to 3,341, and the sigma level value had increased to 4.21 sigma.

Abstract

Hospitals are health facilities that provide medical services and care for patients. Every hospital is always required to maintain and quality of service in order to achieve customer satisfaction and improve efficiency. Lean Management can be used as an approach to improve service quality and efficiency. The first step of improvement is to identify waste in the hospital. This article aims to discuss identification of waste in the outpatient unit of a hospital. Furthermore, determine the priority of waste that must be reduced (eliminated). The methods used are observation, interview and fuzzy. The results showed that the waste that is prioritized to be reduced (eliminated) are patients waiting for the next process (W2), the process of supplying repetitive drugs (OVP2), and patients waiting for registration (W1). The results of this study can be used by hospital management as a reference for making improvements, both in the outpatient unit and other service units.
