Abstract

The lack of implementation of procedures in the process of solving land deeds causes services to be less effective and prone to errors in writing archive data due to the manual process using a special agenda book. This research aims to build a web-based information system to improve efficiency and accuracy in the process of solving land deeds at the Percut Sei Tuan Sub-district Office. The system is designed to replace the manual methods that have been used, which often lead to delays, duplication of data, and inaccuracies in the management of archives. Using technologies such as PHP, MySQL, and Bootstrap5, the system allows for automatic data input, faster file checks, and the creation of structured periodic reports. The system is also equipped with an automatic land deed numbering feature to prevent data duplication and make it easier to track records. The results of the study show that the system developed is able to improve the work efficiency of government staff and provide convenience for the community in applying for land deed solutions. This system is expected to be a modern solution to support better administrative services in Percut Sei Tuan District.

Abstract

The management of official letters that are still carried out manually at PERUMDA Tirtanadi Medan causes various problems, such as difficulties in obtaining letter numbers, waste of agenda books, delays in completing letters, and the potential for numbering errors. This research aims to design and develop a website-based automatic mail numbering system application to improve efficiency and accuracy in managing incoming and outgoing mail. The research methods used include requirements analysis, system design using Data Flow Diagram (DFD) and Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD), implementation with PHP, MySQL, and Bootstrap 5 technology, and system testing using the black-box testing method. The results of the study show that the system developed can speed up the mail management process, reduce errors in numbering, and improve operational efficiency in each division. With this system, employees can access mail data more flexibly and structured through a web-based platform. The implementation of this system is expected to be a solution in overcoming mail management problems at PERUMDA Tirtanadi Medan and supporting the improvement of more modern and professional administrative performance.

Abstract

The development of information technology has encouraged PT. DEL Citra Mandiri, a radio broadcasting company, to adapt to the management of warehouse inventory that is still done manually using Microsoft Excel, is at risk of errors and data loss. This research aims to design a web-based inventory information system to improve the accuracy and efficiency of inbound and outbound goods management. This research uses a system development method based on a structured approach that includes analysis, design, implementation, and testing. System design is carried out with tools such as Flowchart, DFD, Use Case Diagram, and ERD. The technologies used include XAMPP as a local server, MySQL for databases, and Figma for user interface design. The results of the study show that the designed inventory information system is able to overcome the obstacles of manual recording, improve data accuracy, and facilitate real-time monitoring of stock of goods. With the implementation of this system, PT. DEL Citra Mandiri is expected to improve operational efficiency and support more accurate decision-making in warehouse management.

Abstract

The development of information technology has had a significant impact on increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of various administrative processes, including in personnel management in government agencies. This research aims to design and build a web-based periodic salary increase (KGB) information system at the Regional Civil Service and Human Resources Development Agency (BKDPSDM) of Medan City. This system was developed to replace the manual processes that are still used in the management of the KGB, which often causes delays and errors in the processing of employee data. This study uses the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method of the waterfall model, which includes requirements analysis, design with flowcharts, DFD, and ERD, implementation using CodeIgniter, and testing with the black-box method. The results of the study show that the system built improves the efficiency of data input, salary calculation, and automatic report generation. The notification feature helps reduce administrative delays, while the user-friendly interface makes it easy for staff to operate without intensive training. The implementation of this system is expected to increase the accuracy, speed, and transparency of personnel management in the Medan City BKDPSDM.

Abstract

Systems that are still manual or direct recording that is not in accordance with their function will run for a very long time and take a lot of time, where manual systems still rely heavily on recording that prioritizes accuracy and observation as the main focus in the implementation process. This research aims to design and build a web-based information system to replace the manual recording system used by village officials in Gunung Malintang Village, Central Barumun District, Padang Lawas Regency. The system is designed using the PHP programming language with MySQL database. The system design follows the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach with a waterfall model that includes requirements analysis, design, implementation, and system testing. The results of the study show that the designed information system is able to improve the efficiency of data management, reduce recording errors, and speed up the village administration process. This system not only makes it easier for village officials to manage data, but also provides benefits to the community through faster and more accurate services. With the implementation of this information system, it is hoped that village governance will become more modern and transparent, supporting the improvement of the quality of public services in rural areas.
