Abstract

This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The objectives of this research are (1) To determine and analyze financial performance based on vertical analysis of PT. Mandom Indonesia, Tbk, (2) To determine and analyze financial performance based on horizontal analysis of PT. Mandom Indonesia Tbk. The population in this study is the financial statements of PT. Mandom Indonesia Tbk for 20 years with a sample of 7 years. Results of vertical analysis of PT's balance sheet report. Mandom Indonesia, Tbk from 2015-2021 has been optimal. This can be seen from the total assets post which is greater than the total liabilities post. As for the vertical analysis of the profit and loss report, it shows that it is less than optimal because the amount of operating expenses has increased significantly and affects operating profits. It can be concluded that the financial performance of PT. Mandom Indonesia, Tbk optimal. And the results of the horizontal analysis of PT's balance sheet report. Mandom Indonesia, Tbk from 2015-021 experienced a negative trend in its total assets, because it decreased every year. In the total liabilities and equity of PT. Mandom Indonesia, Tbk also experienced a negative trend because it experienced a decline every year. Then the 2015-2021 profit and loss report showed a negative trend because the company's total revenue experienced a very significant decline. Likewise, operating profit experienced a negative trend due to the increase in expenses being greater than the increase in income, so that based on horizontal analysis the profit and loss report still tends to be less than optimal.

Abstract

Audit quality is the main thing that auditors need to produce to carry out audits. Audit quality is in the form of all the potential in which the auditor, when auditing the client's financial data, can detect errors experienced in the accounting system and inform them about the results of the audit, in which to carry out this role the auditor refers to the provisions of the unit and the harmonized accountant's code of ethics. This article examines the elements that impact Audit Quality, including Auditor Ethics, Independence, and Work Experience. The target of this article is to form a hypothesis of the impact between variables to be used in subsequent studies. The results of the article are in the form of: 1) Independence has an impact on Audit Quality; 2) Auditor Ethics have an impact on Audit Quality; and 3) Work Experience has an impact on Audit Quality.

Abstract

To a large extent success or failure of the organization influenced by the quality of an individual in leading the chosen or assigned as the leader of a modern organization or society. Leaders in a given organization must possess the necessary qualities and abilities. Leadership takes place within an organization, a structure.Everything depends on the leader all planning will be realized if the leader can organize and direct his employees well.The author wrote this article by using references from books, journals, and articles. Abstract

. This study reviews the role of Islamic economics in promoting financial inclusion through literature analysis. Through a comprehensive review, we evaluate the concept of financial inclusion, Islamic economic principles, and the contribution of Islamic financial institutions to financial inclusion. The results showed that the Islamic economy plays a significant role in increasing public access to financial services by developing products and services in accordance with Islamic principles. Principles such as the prohibition of usury and the equitable sharing of risks serve as the foundation for financial products and services that are more inclusive and sustainable. Institutions such as Islamic banks, Islamic microfinance institutions, and Islamic capital markets have an important role in reducing financial disparities and increasing public access to financial services. Nevertheless, challenges such as low levels of Islamic financial literacy and unsupportive regulations remain obstacles to Islamic economic development and financial inclusion. Therefore, further steps are needed to improve Islamic financial literacy, strengthen supportive regulations, and encourage innovation in Islamic financial products and services.

Abstract

The role of a leader in influencing his subordinates through leadership supports the success of a company. If a leader cannot talk to his employees, it will have a negative impact on their performance and the company. As a result, critical messages will be less accepted by employees, the communication atmosphere will become more defensive, and ultimately will hinder organizational performance. Studies show that effective leadership drives organizational success because it can increase motivation, discipline and productivity. Leadership and employee performance are closely related. This includes that leadership that is able to protect employees while working is able to improve their performance in accordance with company goals.

Abstract

This research aims to delve into the role of lecturer leadership in shaping students' character at STIA Bagasasi College in Bandung. In the context of higher education, the role of lecturer leadership is crucial in guiding, inspiring, and setting a good example for students. A literature review approach is employed to elucidate this important role. From the analysis, it is found that lecturers serve as role models, mentors, learning facilitators, and developers of student skills. Lecturers who demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and dedication positively influence the character and behavior of students. Lecturer leadership also aids in creating a conducive learning environment and motivating students to achieve their maximum potential. Colleges need to support effective lecturer leadership through lecturer training, professional development, and fostering good relationships between lecturers and students. Thus, lecturer leadership plays a significant role in shaping the character and personal development of students at STIA Bagasasi College in Bandung.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the impact of employees in the organization's commitment, and job satisfaction on the performance of PT employees. Sinar Grafindo. The samples in this study are 100 respondents, namely employees of PT. Sinar Grafindo. Data capture technique using questionnaire with likert scale measurement. The data analysis used in this study includes research instrument tests, classion assumption tests, and hypothesis tests. The results of the Anova F test (Simultant) show that the calculated F value is 3.979 greater than the table F, which is 2.70 and the significance value is 0.010 less than 0.05. Thus, it means that the variable employee engagement, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction significantly affect employee performance at PT. Sinar Grafindo

Abstract

The aim of this research isbto determine the influence of Investment and Labor on the economic growth of Aceh Province. The data used is Investment, Labor, and economic growth data for 2011-2020. The data analysis method uses multiple linier regression analysis, t test and F test. The regression equation is Y = 1.291 + 1.260 + 0.556. Form the t test and F test it can be explained that Investment and Labor partially and simultaneously have a significant effect on the economic growth of Aceh Province. From the coefficient of determination test, it is know that Investment and Labor influence economic growth in Aceh Province by 48.8%, while the remaining 51.2% is influence by other variables outside this research model.

Abstract

The implementation of ethical leadership and transformational leadership has become a major focus in modern management literature. This literature study analyzes the concepts, characteristics, and impacts of both types of leadership in an organizational context. Leadership ethics emphasize the importance of integrity, honesty, and social responsibility in decision making and interactions with subordinates. On the other hand, transformational leadership involves inspiring, visioning, motivating, and developing subordinates to achieve common goals. Literature analysis shows that the implementation of ethical leadership can increase trust, loyalty and organizational performance, while transformational leadership is associated with innovation, adaptation and competitive advantage. This study also highlights the importance of integration between these two approaches to create an ethical and highly competitive work environment.

Abstract

Leadership is defined as the process by which an individual influences the behavior of others to achieve a goal. In this process, the leader utilizes power to influence the behavior of subordinates. Five types of power have been identified: (1) expert power, derived from knowledge or expertise, (2) legitimate power, obtained through formal position or authority, (3) referent power, stemming from personal influence or charisma, (4) reward power, associated with the ability to provide rewards, and (5) coercive power, based on the ability to administer punishment or coercion. Moreover, leadership is closely linked to individual characteristics. Numerous studies have attempted to identify consistent leadership traits, but such endeavors often encounter challenges. The most widely accepted findings from this research suggest that only certain characteristics can consistently be associated with leadership, while efforts to differentiate between leaders and followers, or between effective and ineffective leaders, often prove elusive.
