Abstract

Digital media can support Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) businesses to increase brand awareness of their products, so they can gain competitive advantages and reach a broader market. Unfortunately, not all MSME businesses have the capabilities to utilize digital media to support their businesses. The MSMEs in Buah Batu district face problems that can not be resolved by conventional marketing methods, such as lack of brand awareness and drop in sales which results in the decrease of their revenues and profits. This Community Service aims to improve the MSME's knowledge and skills on creative digital marketing strategy and their understanding of the marketplace so they can create online stores for their businesses. Online stores make it feasible for those MSMEs to broaden their market reach. For the problems related to the IT area, the team will provide network training. The method applied was the service-learning approach. The results of this community service are that the MSMEs in Buah Batu District are capable to create their online shops, promote their products through the marketplace and social media and finally increase their revenues. The output of these community service activities is the design of MSME product packaging and website.

Abstract

Finance is one of the important aspects in determining the sustainability and credibility of political parties, and will indirectly affect the political quality of a country. For this reason, transparency in the financial management of political parties is required in accordance with applicable regulations. However, some cadres of political party administrators in the regions have difficulty in compiling accountability reports because they do not have an educational background in accounting. For this reason, assistance is needed to compile a simple accountability report with the help of a general cash book that is easy to understand and practical. The results of the activity showed that the preparation of the general ledger was able to increase participants' understanding of the procedures for preparing accountability reports more easily even though they did not previously have basic knowledge of accounting.

Abstract

Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Amanah is one of the SME groups that processes cassava into tradisional snacks of West Sumatra. Most products are sold wholesale, do not have labels and packaging, so the selling price is lower than the market price. The lack of knowledge of group members about the importance of product packaging and labels still an obstacle. The purpose of this community dedication is to provide awareness to the KWT Amanah community about the importance of labels and packaging in increasing product added value. In addition, the implementation team provided assistance in arranging P-IRT. The method used is trainning, discussion, observation and demonstration. This counseling activity provides insight and knowledge that can motivate KWT Amanah to make decisions in choosing the type of packaging used. This community dedication program are improves value added products through label designs, increase members knowledge and create the products selling value for partner.

Abstract

Decreased productivity and quality of life experienced by People with Mental Disorders (ODGJ) are caused by decreased cognitive, personal and social functions which will affect their ability to work and be productive. ODGJ lose their job and find it difficult to find a job. Omah Barokah (OBAH) is a business established to provide opportunities for ODGJ to work and be productive. OBAH has been running for 2 years and needs assistance to increase employee motivation, expand marketing and financial management. This service activity aims to improve the quality of OBAH, which is a food business located in Kembaran Hamlet, Tamantirto, Kasihan, Bantul. Participants are 8 employees and 2 managers. The service team compiled a module for improving the OBAH business. The activity was carried out for 1 month in the form of providing motivation to work through online videos for 3 meetings. Online marketing assistance through website creation. Program results are measured by increasing employee motivation and improving the quality of online marketing. The results of the training will continue to be carried out by the manager so that the OBAH business continues to grow.

Abstract

The literacy movement by arousing the spirit of ta'awun in ecology is a community service that aims to build a good understanding of ecology, ecological culture, and ecological awareness in Gampingan village. The community service method is carried out by conducting ecological literacy training, counseling, mentoring, and facilitation. Several activities were carried out together (all partners), starting from strengthening the understanding of ecological literacy theory through literacy training and book references. Also, counseling is to increase legal awareness and environmental awareness in the community (ecological awareness). Increasing the understanding of ecological literacy is also carried out by building the "Padepokan Literasi Iqro" as a place to read, write, discuss, and a space to solve ecological problems in Kampung Gampingan.

Abstract

Skills improvement is in line with efforts to tackle food security during the COvid-19 pandemic. This effort can be done by using hydroponic techniques. This community service aims to increase the knowledge and skills of the Sint Carolus Junior High School residents in Bengkulu City in utilizing hydroponic technology. The method of activities provided includes training, supervised assignment, monitoring and evaluation. Activities were held on August 21, 2020 and August 28, 2020 at Sint Carolus Middle School, Bengkulu. Based on the activities that have been carried out, it can be concluded that community service activities in hydroponic technology training (models) get a very good response in terms of the material, methods and partner satisfaction. Hydroponic technology training model has increased the knowledge and skills of Sint Carolus Middle School residents in Bengkulu City, particularly by using the styrofoam box waste as a medium for plant planting.

Abstract

There are several reasons that lead to the importance of implementing a gender-oriented poverty alleviation program, one of which is that it can stimulate the emergence of empowerment. So the purpose of this research is to formulate the empowerment of poor women with the Pro-poor Capacity Improvement model in an effort to alleviate poverty in rural areas. The formulation of the model is based on the analysis of potentials, barriers, opportunities, threats, and policies in empowering poor women. Research in Gadingkulon Village, Dau District, Malang Regency was carried out through questionnaires, in-depth interviews, observations, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), and literature studies. The first stage uses quantitative analysis to present the frequency table, and the second stage uses qualitative analysis in gender analysis by Sara Longwee. This research resulted in a model for empowering poor women, which was designed in the Pro-poor Capacity Improvement ((PCIM) model which consisted of several components in the model in order to improve family welfare. These components consisted of the results of an analysis of potential, opportunities, obstacles, intervention in entrepreneurship, and welfare.The formulation of empowerment of poor women in Gadingkulon Village can be implemented in poverty alleviation efforts.

Abstract

Currently, tourist activities around the beach are growing rapidly, especially in the Petitenget Coastal area. Waste management by tourists around the region causes polluted estuary Petitenget Beach. Polluted estuary has an impact on the existing tourism sector, where this results in reduced image of Petitenget beach in the eyes of tourists where tourist activities in the Petitenget area is the main source of income from the Petitenget community. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to restore estuary water, one way is to utilize the potential of The Fragrant Root plant as a fitness agent. From the results of the devotion carried out it is known that the Fragrant Root plant is an effective plant in lowering some polluting parameters, one of which is Ammonia which is the main content of wastewater. The results of this community service will be discussed with the Kerobokan Badung Village and the Badung District Environment and Hygiene Office

Abstract

Due to Covid-19 pandemic, learning activities turn into online. Online learning requires a media that can maximize the delivery of material and thus students can understand independently. Teachers should improve their ability to use information technology and creativ to create a good learning video which is worth to upload and deserves copyright recognition. The method is to provide the mentorship. Mentorship purpose is to assist teachers to produce learning videos that are suitable being uploaded on YouTube and receive recognition of the copyrighted videos. As a result of these mentorships, the participants succeed in creating a learning video with a variety of material topics which can be uploaded in Youtube and receive recognition of copyright ownership. Thereafter, the school can manage independently and continue to enrich content of school's YouTube channel and increase the number of copyright for teacher's video works.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated nutritional problems for children under five and many Posyandu for toddlers are not operating, thus increasing delays in preventing stunting and stunting growth for toddlers. This health cadre empowerment activity is carried out because health cadres are a team in the toddler posyandu. This is done by increasing the knowledge and skills of cadres so that they can perform early detection of stunting and make referrals. This activity goes through 7 steps of serial activities, namely Preparing, Participatory Program, Asset Reinventing, Designing, Communicating, Implementing, Evaluating. Activity results: knowledge of cadres about stunting increased from a score of 70 to 90, understanding the interpretation of measurement results for toddlers so that cadres' skills in early detection of stunting increased Implication: the application of digital applications that make it easier for cadres to detect stunting early to prevent and refer.
