Abstract

Evaluate the impact of using GeoGebra as learning media on students' understanding of mathematical concepts and their engagement in the learning process. The method used in this study was experimental research with a pre-test and post-test design, where students were given problem-based tasks that were solved using GeoGebra. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test to assess the improvement of students' understanding of mathematical concepts, as well as observation to evaluate students' engagement during the learning process. The results showed that the use of GeoGebra in the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model significantly improved students' understanding of mathematical concepts, with an average increase in understanding scores of 25%. The findings support the integration of GeoGebra with the PBL model as an effective strategy in learning mathematics in secondary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of online learning on students' motivation and academic achievement during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used in this study is a quantitative survey by distributing questionnaires to 300 high school students in various regions in Indonesia. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis to identify the relationship between the variables studied. The results show that online learning has a significant effect on students' motivation to learn, with 65% of respondents reporting a decrease in motivation due to the challenges faced. However, the effect on academic achievement varied; students with good access to technology and strong family support showed a 20% increase in academic achievement compared to those with less support. Based on these findings, it is recommended that education policy prioritizes the development of more inclusive learning strategies, including improved access to technology and training for teachers in digital pedagogy, to ensure all students have equitable and quality learning opportunities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of critical thinking skills of students taught using the Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model on the learning of Islamic jurisprudence on zakat material in class VII MTsS An-Nazmaiyah Kec. Sipispis. This type of research is quantitative research. With a total population of class VII students at MTsS An-Nazmaiyah Kec. Sipispis totaling 60 people. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling, where sample members were taken from the population randomly without considering the strata in the population, so that the sample of this study was selected, namely students in class VII-A and VII-B. The research instruments used in this study were test validity, test reliability, question difficulty index, question discrimination power. The data analysis technique used in this study was the normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis test. Data collection techniques were carried out using test and observation methods. The results of the research from the hypothesis test show that the Tcount value = 0.03 and Ttable = 1.70 indicate that 0.03 <1.70, thus Ho is rejected or Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the experimental class compared to the control class by using the Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model on Students' Critical Thinking Skills in Fiqh Learning of Zakat Material

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to observe how the way parents educate their children affects the development of children's minds at the elementary school level, specifically in the ability to think critically, solve problems, and create. The research used a descriptive qualitative approach, with information drawn from relevant literature sources, and presented the data as it is without alteration. The findings of this study show that the parenting style applied by parents is very important in shaping children's cognitive abilities, including critical thinking, problem solving and logic skills. Parental involvement, positive communication, a favorable learning environment, and education provided by parents are instrumental in children's cognitive development. Parenting models have a major influence on children's cognitive development, and demonstrate the importance of choosing parenting methods that support children's independence, responsibility and critical thinking skills so that they can reach their full potential. To conclude, good parenting approaches and positive family interactions have a significant impact on children's cognitive development, which has a direct impact on their ability to learn.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the role of constructivism philosophy in the implementation of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model at primary school level. Currently, many of the teaching methods used are still conventional, leaving less room for students to be active in constructing their knowledge. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a literature study approach, which analyzes various sources to deeply understand how constructivism is applied in PjBL. The results show that constructivism changes the perspective of education by making students the main actors in the learning process. The PjBL model provides real opportunities for students to not only receive information, but also to construct knowledge through direct experience, exploration, and interaction with their peers. This research also found that the role of the teacher changes from being a conveyor of information to a facilitator who creates a learning atmosphere that supports active learning. The main contribution of this research is an in-depth explanation of the relationship between constructivism and PjBL in primary schools. This model is proven to be effective in promoting creativity, critical thinking and learning independence among students. With a student-centered approach, they can develop process skills, collaboration and practical problem-solving abilities.

Abstract

The advancement of a company or organization is highly dependent on the quality of its human resources. The term "human resources" refers to the full potential possessed by each individual, enabling them to effectively navigate the increasingly competitive global landscape. Human resources with high skill levels and quality are considered valuable assets for organizations. The objective of this study is to determine the impact of Total Quality Management (TQM) and self-efficacy on employee performance at PT Bakrie Sumatra Plantations Tbk Kisaran. The research design is quantitative, employing an associative approach. The population under study consists of the workforce of PT Bakrie Sumatra Plantations Tbk Kisaran, with a sample size of 51 respondents. The sampling method used is probability sampling through simple random sampling. Primary data were collected through direct distribution of questionnaires, while secondary data were obtained through a literature study. The findings of this study indicate that Total Quality Management (TQM) has a significant positive effect on employee performance, as evidenced by a t-count value of 5.028, which is greater than 2.010, with a significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, and a regression coefficient value of 0.693. Additionally, self-efficacy has a significant positive effect on employee performance, as indicated by a t-count value of 2.230, exceeding the threshold of 2.010, with a significance value of 0.030, and a regression coefficient value of 0.337. In simultaneous testing, the variables of Total Quality Management (TQM) and self-efficacy exert a combined effect, accounting for 43.7% of the total impact, while the remaining 56.3% is attributed to factors outside the scope of this study.
