Abstract

On 25 October 2023, Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka officially registered with the General Election Commission as Presidential and Vice-Presidential candidates. Therefore, the researcher wants to know how the framing of the news media related to this. The media selected for this analysis are Kompas.com and CNNIndonesia. This study uses the framing method by Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki and uses the constructivism paradigm. The news data taken for this study were collected in the period 16-25 October 2023. Based on the results of the study, there was one news on Kompas.com that didn’t meet the 5W+1H elements and the comparison in the two news portals led to differences where Kompas.com media focused on the opinions of sources related to the advantages and chances of Gibran’s victory, and CNNIndonesia showed how the results of the electability data of the pair Prabowo and Gibran to win the 2024 Presidential Election.

Abstract

Stunting in young children is a child nutrition problem in Indonesia. This research has the main objective of preventing and overcome it through a technique that can predict stunted babies based on data or information. This study using KNN method uses 125 test data and the value of k = 3 gives an accuracy of 96%. This includes 119 accurate predictions and 6 inaccurate predictions. The aim of this study is to predict the outcome of stunting in toddlers. If they fall into the stunting category, the parents of the toddler must pay more attention to the nutritional development of the toddler to be able to minimize the stunting rate in Indonesia.

Abstract

Yogyakarta, a city of culture, has a variety of cultures, including traditional weapons, but these are currently difficult to find. Research has shown that Augmented reality technology can educate the public about the culture of a region, such as the introduction of traditional Yogyakarta weapons through an application that displays 3D objects of traditional Yogyakarta weapons. By utilizing Augmented reality technology in the introduction of traditional Yogyakarta weapons, it becomes a material that is interesting to learn. This application can display 3D objects of traditional Yogyakarta weapons, so that the public can visualize traditional weapons that are currently quite difficult to find. The 3D objects were made based on data from a book published by the Ministry of Education and Culture. The target marker is made in the form of a QR code with a photo of a weapon in the middle, when the marker is detected, a 3D object will appear above it. The results of the testing showed that all features were able to run well.

Abstract

This research aims to implement the VIKOR method as a Decision Support System (DSS) in the selection process of Indonesian Army (TNI AD) soldiers for advanced Bintara education. The challenges faced include the underutilization of technology in the selection process, limited computerized selection results, and the use of printed documents that may slow down the process. The research method employs a developmental approach to DSS based on the Simon model with stages of intelligence, design, choice, and implementation. The study is conducted at Kodam XVII/Cenderawasih, focusing on health, physical fitness (garjas), academic, and psychological criteria for selection. Blackbox testing is carried out to ensure the success of the DSS application in managing criteria, alternatives, and subcriteria. The results show consistency between the DSS application and MS Excel in VIKOR method calculations.

Abstract

Java Island holds a significantly dominant percentage within Indonesia. The presence of media on Java Island plays a crucial role in shaping public perception and views regarding an event, including the 2024 Presidential election, making Java Island the epicenter of media coverage in Indonesia. This phenomenon is known as Javanese-centrism, indicating the emphasis on Java's position, considered the center and reference point of Indonesia. This research applies a qualitative approach utilizing framing analysis proposed by Robert N Entman. The model encompasses steps such as defining the problem, identifying the causes of the problem, evaluating moral decisions, and detailing problem resolution. The aim is to analyze detik.com's framing related to Javanese-centrism in the coverage of the 2024 Presidential candidates. The research sample includes 5 news articles from detik.com published between October 25th and 30th, 2023. The research findings indicate that the coverage on detik.com accentuates Java Island more, potentially raising issues of regional disparity due to the Presidential candidates' campaigns focusing solely on Java Island from October 25th to 30th. Detik.com aims for Presidential campaigns to extend to all parts of Indonesia, not solely centered on Java Island, in order to mitigate issues of centralization.

Abstract

Ordering catering is an activity carried out by customers to buy products in the form of food. At the Tebar Rasa Restaurant, the catering ordering process is carried out by customers by coming directly to the location. Based on the author's interviews with related parties, in the process of ordering catering there are several customers who complain about the ordering process because it takes more time, effort and costs. As a solution to this problem the authors built a Web and Mobile-Based Catering Order Application to assist in the process of ordering catering by customers. In making this application the author uses the android programming base and MySQL as the data storage. This application is made to streamline time, effort and produce accurate information. The results of testing the built application have performance according to user needs. By combining the advantages of the PHP and Java programming languages, this research has the potential to create a more efficient and satisfying food ordering experience for customers.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the application of qaulan syakila in building an Islamic society. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method as an effort to identify natural problems within the scope of Islamic society related to communication. This research is an analytical study which uses the literature review as a data source and as a review unit for studying Islamic society as an object. The findings of this research were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. In creating valid data, researchers used triangulation. The results of this research show that, the application of qaulan syakila as a communication concept in Islamic society is a strong means for building deep understanding and strengthening religious values. Messages delivered in heavy, thoughtful words have the potential to stimulate thought, inspire action, and create long-lasting impact. Apart from that, Qaulan syakila also plays a role in forming religious identity, spreading Islamic teachings wisely, and building social solidarity. By speaking with wisdom and truth, Islamic communities can prove that religious values can be realized in every aspect of life, creating a society that is just, developed, and loyal to the roots of their traditions and culture.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of qaulan kariman in improving the quality of relationships between individuals. This research This research uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, this research is field in nature. In this approach, researchers involve collecting diverse data, such as interviews, observations, and documents, as well as holistic and contextual data analysis. This research uses primary data sources in the form of observation results and secondary data sources in the form of literature reviews. In collecting data, researchers carry out non-participant observations which are carried out by indirectly observing natural behavior, activities and research objects. The data analysis technique in this research was carried out by reducing data, presenting data, and making conclusions. The results of this research show that the implementation of qaulan kariman is not only an ethical norm, but also the basis for building a community of mutual support and improving mutual prosperity. By maintaining good words, individuals can create relationships that are healthy, harmonious, and based on the values of truth and virtue. This ensures that communication serves as a means to strengthen bonds, create peace, and build a society based on positive values.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of qaulan sadida on interpersonal dynamics. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. In collecting data, researchers did this by means of non-participant observation as primary data and literature study as secondary data (literature review). In analyzing research data, researchers carry out reduction, presentation and verification stages or make conclusions. The results of this research show that the concept of qaulan sadida, which emphasizes honesty, gentleness, and respect for other people's opinions, has a positive impact on communication and interpersonal dynamics. By applying values such as sincerity, consistency, openness, and choosing wise words, individuals can build strong, trusting, and inclusive relationships. Qaulan sadida also helps avoid unnecessary conflict, creates an environment that supports mutual growth, and encourages acceptance of diversity. The application of this principle is not limited to a religious context, but can be applied in various aspects of daily life.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of Islamic communication Qaulan Maysura in forming language politeness at Bank Sumut. This research applies a descriptive qualitative method with a phenomenological approach in order to identify problems through direct observation of the natural conditions of the research object. The data sources for this research consist of primary data obtained through observation and secondary data sourced from literature reviews. The data analysis process involves reducing findings, presenting descriptively, and verifying to support the validity of research results. This approach is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the phenomenon under study and has the potential to contribute to the development of theoretical or practical understanding in the context of the research being carried out. The results of this research show that Bank Sumut applies the Qaulan Maysura concept, teaching employees to communicate with words of wisdom, politeness and kindness. Politeness includes clarity of information, respect and gentleness in interactions with customers. This approach is not only a communication strategy, but also an effort to strengthen customer trust and loyalty, making Bank Sumut a partner that cares about the human aspect in every interaction.
