Abstract

This study presents the design, development, and evaluation of an automatic temperature control system for broiler chicken coops using NodeMCU and DHT11 sensors integrated within an Internet of Things (IoT) framework. The system was designed to maintain coop temperature stability automatically, minimizing manual intervention and optimizing environmental conditions for broiler productivity. Using a Research and Development (R&D) approach, the system was constructed with hardware components including NodeMCU ESP8266, DHT11 sensor, servo motor, relay, lamp, and cooling fan, while the software utilized Arduino IDE, Python, and Telegram Bot API for real-time monitoring. The seven-day experimental testing, with thirty readings per day, demonstrated that the system maintained an average temperature of 27.6°C (±0.8°C), achieving 98.5% accuracy compared to manual thermometers, with an average error of 0.65%. The actuators exhibited an average response time of 1.8 seconds, ensuring quick adaptation to environmental changes and preventing heat stress in broilers. The automation reduced manual monitoring time by 80% and inspection frequency by 83%, while lowering energy consumption by approximately 40% through temperature-based device activation. These results confirm that low-cost IoT automation enhances environmental stability, animal welfare, and operational efficiency, aligning with the global trend toward precision livestock farming. Future improvements should focus on integrating multi-node systems, adaptive control algorithms, and humidity regulation to expand scalability, reliability, and sustainability in poultry management.

Abstract

This research developed an Internet of Things (IoT)–based automatic watering system designed to support the maintenance of Aglaonema ornamental plants. The system utilizes a NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller connected to a soil-moisture sensor and a DHT11 temperature sensor, all integrated with the Blynk mobile platform for real-time monitoring and remote control. By combining sensor feedback with automated logic, the system activates irrigation when soil moisture falls below 40 percent and stops it when levels exceed 60 percent. Laboratory and field testing confirmed that the prototype operated reliably within a six-meter Wi-Fi range, maintaining stable communication and accurate sensor readings. The device reduced water consumption by about 37 percent compared with manual watering and provided timely notifications through both the LCD display and the Blynk application. Although system performance depends on Wi-Fi connectivity and lacks backup power, its overall operation demonstrates that IoT-based automation can significantly improve water efficiency and convenience for small-scale plant owners. Future enhancement may include solar-powered modules, additional sensors, and cloud data storage to strengthen system reliability and expand smart-agriculture applications.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to design and develop a decision support system for the location of a salon or beauty shop in Aceh Province. In this study, the authors used observation and interview techniques by implementing SAW in the analysis and waterfall as a software development method. This study succeeded in making a Decision Making System for Determining Salon Business Locations in Aceh Province Using the SAW Method and this study succeeded in performing alternative rankings from the weight calculation results for Determining Salon Business Locations in Aceh Province using SAW (Simple Additive Weighting). The suggestions that the author wants to convey after making observations are for further development, the system is expected to be able to combine several other methods as a comparison of alternative ranking results and need further development in the reporting process, because this system is still very simple in displaying reports so that in the future there will be more use more detailed graphics.

The purpose of the research is to design an information system for car and motorcycle washing services that will be used by doormeer business users, which is expected to assist doormeer entrepreneurs in recording every transaction, queue, payroll management and can be used with various platforms both desktop and mobile. In the process of designing an information system for doormeer car and motorcycle washing services, we use the DevOps software design method. From the results of research and observations that have been made on Doorsmeer CV. XYZ, it can be concluded that from the results of the design of an information system for car and motorcycle washing services at Doorsmeer CV. XYZ web-based parties make it easy to inform washing services that are ready to use through the ordering system. With the website, customers can access and get information and order services quickly from their homes, and can choose the services they want to use according to the customer's plan, and Applications information system for car and motorcycle washing services at Doorsmeer CV. XYZ can handle and control and supervise service transaction data, create invoices that can avoid delays and in making contract reports for each transaction activity.

Abstract

The research aims at developing an online-based system with a focus that the feature also has an API (Application Programming Interface) service that can spread products on various e-commerce in Indonesia. In the process of developing software or motorcycle sales system applications, researchers use the Spiral method. The programming language used is PHP with MySQL as the database and uses the Vue.js framework. From the results of research and observations that have been made at PT. XYZ, it can be concluded that; From the results of the manufacture of motorcycle sales information system PT. XYZ web-based parties make it easy to inform PT. XYZ which is ready to be sold through the sales system. With the sales website, buyers can access and get information and motorcycle sales of PT. XYZ quickly from his home, and can choose the desired motorcycle to be purchased, and the motorcycle sales application at PT. XYZ can handle and control and supervise motorcycle sales transaction data, create sales invoices that can avoid delays and in making sales reports for each transaction activity, use APIs by disseminating using the Bukalapak and Tokopedia APIs and successfully synchronizing but still need testing and development that focuses on products on the Android platform.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to design an information system application for CV. XYZ to assist in handling various administrations to reporting. In recording and processing transaction data, CV. XYZ already has its own system, such as recording customer names, ordering services and shipping still using paper and the system used in recording such as data on goods washed from customers is still conventional so it is still less efficient in terms of processing time. For this reason, a computerized system is needed that is able to present data quickly and precisely so that the smooth running of business operations can be further improved. In the application development process using the PXP (Personal Extreme Programming) model. From the results of research and observations that have been made on CV. XYZ, it can be concluded; From the results of making a web-based laundry information system, it becomes easy to manage CV laundry transaction reporting. XYZ to laundry reports quickly, and can handle and control and supervise laundry transaction data, create invoices that can avoid delays and in making laundry reports for every transaction activity.

Abstract

The specific purpose of the research is to generate concepts and develop new models to assess higher education performance by referring to Study Program Accreditation (APS 4.0) and Institutional Accreditation (APT 3.0) BAN-PT which can monitor and evaluate quality performance, and document in accordance with accreditation instruments, as well as implement an intelligent system algorithm that is able to assess the quality of higher education performance. Broadly speaking, this research is divided into three stages of research, namely pre-development data collection, development and implementation, and post-development data collection. From the results of the distribution of questionnaires on the use of the application, it has been seen from the support and Universities that relatively positive needs are needed as applications to support the accreditation process. At the end of 2020, this application has been implemented for PT AMIK Indonesia's accreditation activities and the response from Assessors has been very good and this application can replace the use of Google Drive as a documentation medium in the accreditation assessment process. The use of the flutter framework supports attractive visualizations with a fast development process.

The purpose of this research is to assist the Balai Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Ilmu Pelayaran (BP2IP) Malahayati to process data on the selection of the best employees to computerize the current system so that it can analyze and assist database processing activities at an even better level of effectiveness and efficiency, so that it is expected to be able to ; designing the best web-based Employee Decision Making System (DSS) Application program, the best Employee Decision Making System (DSS) system made in the form of a questionnaire with several alternatives and criteria as basic ingredients in data processing using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) Method, and generate reports - more detailed ranking reports, criteria, alternatives, and employees of each required data. Based on the results of the research and decision-making system using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method as the selection of the best employees at the Balai Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Ilmu Pelayaran (BP2IP) Malahayati which has been carried out by the author, several conclusions can be drawn, namely; This research succeeded in creating a decision support system for evaluating the best employee selection at the Balai Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Ilmu Pelayaran (BP2IP) Malahayati, and this research succeeded in conducting alternative rankings from the results of calculating the weight of employee scores using SAW (Simple Additive Weighting).

Abstract

The research objectives are to design a web-based application that can help make the best employee selection report process easy and fast, design an application that can calculate normalization to determine criteria and weights according to the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) method, and design an application that can manage data -Alternative data needed for the selection of the best employees. The stages of data collection in this study consisted of 3 (three) stages namely; observation, interview, and literature study. UML (Unified Modeling Language) is used as an approach for modeling while the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is applied in the best employee assessment application. The results of this study can facilitate the selection of the best employees to be faster with accurate results by using the best employee selection application by implementing the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method using the PHP and MySQL programming languages.
