Abstract

Background: By definition, chronic renal failure (CKD) is a disorder of the structure and function of the kidneys that can cause specific health problems. The prevalence of chronic kidney failure in 2016 was 752.7 million people suffering from CKD, of which women reached 417 million people and men reached 335.7 million people suffering from CKD. In conditions of hyperglycemia, which is found to have GDS levels > 200 mg/dL, it will have an impact on the kidneys which are a place for filtration to increase their performance and when this event continues it will burden the kidneys so that it can make the performance function of the kidneys become impaired. Objective: To determine the relationship between GDS value and LFG value in GGK patients with Dm type 2 at Dr. H. Chasan Boesoirie Hospital in the 2019-2022 period. Methods: This type of research is an analytic observational cross-sectional study using the Spearman correlation test to get the relationship between blood sugar to glomerular filtration rate. The sample in this study was 22 patients who were taken using the total sampling technique. data collection tools in the form of medical records at Dr.H. Chasan Boesoirie Hospital in 2019-2022. Results: The profile of chronic kidney failure patients is mostly female 14 people (63.6%), based on the most age in the age group 55-64 years (50.0%), based on GDS most in GDS <200 as many as 19 patients (59.1%), based on LFG most in stage 5 (G5) LFG value <15 ml/min/1.73m2, namely 18 patients (81.1%). The correlation between GDS and LFG showed a moderate positive relationship (r=0.442, p-value of 0.040). Conclusion: There is a correlation between current blood sugar and glomerular filtration rate in patients with chronic renal failure at Dr. H. Chasan Boesoirie Hospital.

Abstract

The results of the study show that the performance of the employees of the East Barito Regency Library and Archives Office is quite optimal. First, the quality consisting of work results that are not yet effective due to the lack of expertise or their ability to work and for the suitability of the task is good because it is regulated by the duties and functions of each work section, Second, the quantity consisting of the time used to carry out tasks this is hampered by the lack of awareness or discipline in their work and the speed of this work is also disturbed by low expertise. Third, the implementation of tasks consisting of accurate work which is very good because it is supported by accurate data and compiled guidelines and for expertise is still lacking. Fourth, responsibility consisting of awareness that is still lacking about using working hours effectively and obligations that are not carried out professionally. Factors that influence are low expertise, employee indiscipline and lack of facilities and infrastructure. Efforts made First, improve work discipline, Second, provide work coaching, Third, provide work motivation, Fourth, clear work targets. Fifth, take a personal approach to employees. Sixth, provide reprimands or warnings for employees who violate the rules.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology (ICT) has had a significant impact on religious life, including the fellowship of Christians. ICT offers opportunities to expand the reach of ministry, strengthen connections between congregations, and facilitate Bible learning. However, potential dangers also exist; ICT can erode the values of communion and fuel individualism, contrary to the teachings of Christ. Ephesians 4:5 ("One Lord, one faith, one baptism") provides an analytical framework for understanding this impact. Oneness in God, faith, and baptism should be a solid foundation of fellowship, transcending differences. However, social media and the internet create a fragmented "virtual world", isolating individuals in a limited information "bubble". Online interaction, while beneficial, does not completely replace the face-to-face meetings that are essential for building real relationships. Social media algorithms amplify "filter bubbles," creating polarization and inhibiting constructive dialogue. Self-comparisons on social media can also trigger jealousy and division. To address this, churches need to make wise use of ICT, build positive and inclusive online communities, and emphasize the importance of face-to-face meetings and real ministry. Education on the healthy use of ICT is also crucial, so that communion is maintained and Christian values remain firmly entrenched.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) describe the environmental problems that hit the Manggarai community. (2) Describe the efforts to revitalise local Eco theology to overcome the environmental crisis in Manggarai. The research method used in this study is qualitative research. The results showed that environmental problems are one of the most serious problems faced by the Manggarai people and are even threatening their survival. Modern agricultural patterns, mining, illegal logging and lack of attention to local wisdom values are significant triggers for the clean water crisis, soil fertility degradation, and forest destruction. Efforts to revitalise local Eco theology are crucial in dealing with these problems. By viewing nature as a sacred entity, the mother of life, and a mediation to communicate with ancestral spirits and the Supreme Being, people will increasingly respect nature or reduce the act of exploitation of nature. The role of the church, government and society is crucial to internalise local wisdom education to the younger generation so that they do not behave destructively towards nature.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the extent to which company growth, dividend policy, and capital structure influence profitability in the banking sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2021–2023 period. The independent variables in this study include Company Growth (Company Growth), Dividend Policy (Dividend Payout Ratio), and Capital Structure (Debt to Equity Ratio). Meanwhile, profitability as the dependent variable is measured using Return on Assets (ROA). This research uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis. A total of 39 observations were collected from 13 banks selected as the research sample. To ensure the accuracy of the model used, classical assumption tests such as normality, heteroscedasticity, and multicollinearity tests were conducted. The analysis results indicate that capital structure has a negative and significant effect on profitability, while company growth has a positive and significant effect. On the other hand, dividend policy does not have a significant impact on profitability. Overall, these three independent variables simultaneously influence the profitability of the companies.

Abstract

This research focuses on the Taoist concept of balance between humans and nature, and its relevance in the Hamis Batar ritual performed by the Mamulak tribe in Meotroi Village, Laen Manen Sub-district, Malacca Regency. Taoism teaches the importance of harmony with nature as a basic principle of life. In the context of the Mamulak tribe, the Hamis Batar ritual is a manifestation of this understanding and practice of balance. This research aims to explore how Taoist values are integrated into the daily lives of the Mamulak tribe and how this ritual serves as a means to strengthen the spiritual and ecological relationship between the community and their environment. Through a qualitative approach, data was collected through interviews and participatory observation, providing deep insights into local cultural practices and beliefs.

Abstract

Employee performance is one of the determining factors for a company's success in achieving organizational goals. This study aims to analyze the influence of work discipline, work experience, and wage levels on employee performance. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method by distributing questionnaires to respondents who are active employees. The results of the analysis show that work discipline has a significant effect on improving performance, work experience contributes to work effectiveness and efficiency, while wage levels have a positive correlation with employee motivation and loyalty. These findings indicate that companies need to pay attention to these three aspects in a balanced manner to optimize human resource productivity.

Abstract

The legal aspects of business are essential elements that ensure continuity and fairness in economic activities. Every business activity, whether small or large scale, is governed by legal rules that regulate the rights and obligations of business actors. This study aims to identify and analyze various legal aspects inherent in the business world, such as contract law, corporate law, consumer protection law, as well as taxation and business licensing regulations. A normative juridical approach is used to understand the relevance and implementation of laws and regulations in business practices in Indonesia. The findings indicate that understanding and complying with legal aspects can create an orderly, transparent, and competitive business environment. Furthermore, the existence of clear and firm legal regulations also enhances investor confidence and provides protection for both business actors and consumers.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in driving local economic growth. However, amidst the rapid digital transformation, many MSMEs are not yet ready to face these changes optimally. Mentoring is one of the crucial strategies in strengthening the competitiveness and adaptive capabilities of MSMEs to the dynamics of the digital market. This study aims to analyze the extent to which the role of mentoring contributes to strengthening local business strategies. The focus of the study includes aspects of training, digital transformation, business actor motivation, and obstacles in implementing mentoring. The findings show that systematic and sustainable mentoring can have a positive impact on the growth of MSMEs, especially in increasing digital literacy, product innovation, and more modern and efficient business management.

Abstract

In this context, the author discusses the analysis of Mixue's business marketing strategy in Indonesia. Mixue is one of the ice cream and tea producers that continues to develop and expand its business in Indonesia. Mixue ice cream and tea is a company engaged in the sales of ice cream and chinese tea that has been operating since 1997, founded by Zhang Hongchao. Mixue's marketing strategy includes low prices, targeting the lower market segment and social media marketing. The purpose of this study is to find out the marketing strategy of mixue companies in the implementation of the business expansion process in Indonesia. The research method used is a qualitative method, the data source is secondary data, the data collection method is articles, journals, the internet and books, then the material is presented descriptively. The results of the study show that Mixue ice cream and tea has succeeded in creating a profitable business for both the parent company and the recipient of the profit certificate, thus making it one of the culinary industry players in Indonesia.
