Abstract

This research aims to enhance raw material inventory management at Mie Ayam Pak Maryono by utilizing POM-QM software, which is vital for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to boost operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. By employing Activity Based Costing (ABC) analysis, the study determines optimal order quantities and storage costs, revealing that POM-QM implementation reduces operational expenses and improves service quality. The ABC method effectively classifies inventory, with noodles and chicken making up 57,67 persen and 42,32 persen of total inventory costs, respectively. These findings highlight the significance of technology in inventory management, enabling MSMEs to monitor stock in real-time, minimize waste, and concentrate on product innovation and customer service, ultimately enhancing profitability and long-term sustainability.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) disclosure on the financial performance of energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Using a quantitative approach, secondary data from annual and sustainability reports from 2021 to 2023 were analyzed using SPSS. The results indicate that, when considered simultaneously, ESG disclosure significantly influences financial performance, with a significance level of 0.035. However, in the partial analysis, each ESG component showed no significant effect on Return on Assets (ROA). These findings suggest that while ESG disclosure is essential for building investor trust, its direct impact on financial performance is not evident at an individual level. Therefore, it is recommended that companies more effectively integrate sustainability strategies into their operational frameworks to enhance long-term financial performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of environmental accounting disclosure and environmental performance on firm value in energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020–2023 period. The research method used is quantitative with a multiple linear regression approach. The data used are secondary data obtained from the annual reports and sustainability reports of the companies sampled in this study, selected using purposive sampling techniques. Environmental accounting disclosure is measured using the environmental cost formula, while environmental performance is measured using the PROPER ratings issued by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (MoEF). The results of the study show that environmental accounting disclosure and environmental performance have varying effects on firm value, which can be positive, negative, or insignificant. These findings indicate that environmental reporting and management activities do not necessarily add value in the eyes of investors. In certain conditions, these activities may even trigger concerns about additional costs borne by the company, thereby reducing the firm’s value.

Abstract

This article examines in depth the relationship between the concepts of citizenship and geopolitics in the face of the increasingly complex challenges of globalization. The main objective of this article is to encourage the development of national awareness through the integration of geopolitical approaches in civic education. In the context of developing countries such as Indonesia, citizenship education not only serves to form law-abiding citizens, but also as a strategic means to instill national values and national identity. According to Kymlicka (2001), citizenship education plays a role as the main foundation in strengthening solidarity and identity in a nation-state. Therefore, understanding geopolitical dynamics is an important part of fostering an understanding of Indonesia's strategic position in the regional and global region. This article emphasizes that the geopolitical approach can help students in developing national insights that are contextual and relevant to current issues. The research was conducted using a literature study method and a qualitative approach that allowed an in-depth exploration of previous theories and findings. The results of the study show that civic education integrated with a geopolitical perspective is able to increase the love of the homeland and the active participation of citizens in maintaining the integrity of the nation. Furthermore, this article finds that the integration between civic education and geopolitics can be a strong foundation in fortifying the younger generation from the negative influences of globalization that can erode national values. Knowledge of geopolitics provides students with a thorough understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing Indonesia in international relations. Civic education with a geopolitical approach also strengthens students' socio-political intelligence in responding to various contemporary issues, such as regional conflicts, energy security, and the influence of global powers on national sovereignty. In this case, teachers have a strategic role as facilitators to instill a contextual and applicative understanding of geopolitics. This study recommends the need to reformulate the civic education curriculum in order to be able to respond to the needs of the times and strengthen geopolitical awareness from an early age. Thus, students not only become cognitively intelligent citizens, but also have social sensitivity, national responsibility, and commitment to the integrity of the nation and state. The article also emphasizes that global challenges require an educational response that is adaptive, visionary, and based on national contexts. In conclusion, the integration of civic education and geopolitical insight is an important step in forming a resilient generation of nations in the global era.

Abstract

The formation of a child's character is an important task for parents. Character formation in children is not an easy task but rather a very complex one. Parents are required to help their children when they experience difficulties in developing good character within themselves at some point. Here, the role of parents is very much needed. In the current digital era, children are being challenged, where they face an era that creates dilemmas for them. This dilemma arises when children follow the flow of technological development or adhere to their parents' teachings. Therefore, the author highlights a holy scripture, namely Proverbs 1:8-15, to help parents understand how they should enlighten their children when they are facing challenges and trials in the digital era. This verse from the holy scripture also helps children to be able to stand firm in their beliefs, meaning they are not easily swayed by the changes of the times. The methods used in the writing of this scientific paper are library research and field research. The purpose of the research is to determine the extent to which parents play a role in the formation of a child's character. From the research conducted by the researchers at SDK St. Klaus Werang, it shows that the presence of gadgets in children has a positive influence on the formation of children's character. Although the presence of gadgets has had a significantly positive impact on the formation of children's character, parents must continue to monitor and limit their children's use of gadgets.
