Abstract

Entrepreneurial competency is one of the main goals in the education process, in encouraging it it can then be formed through several factors, namely family education and economic literacy which work together to form an entrepreneurial mentality. Students who grow up in families that encourage creativity, responsibility and innovation will tend to have a proactive attitude towards business opportunities. The combination of supportive family education and strong economic literacy will be able to create a solid foundation for students to have entrepreneurial competence in the 4.0 era. This research method uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis. The sample in this research was 100 students of XI SMAN 1 Rejotangan Tulungagung. Questionnaires were distributed by random sampling or at random. The research results show that: 1) There is an influence of family education on 4.0 era entrepreneurial competence in class XI students of SMA 1 Rejotangan Tulungagung. The family education factor is important because it can provide a direct impact and insight into students' learning directly, whether intentionally or not. 2) There is an influence of economic literacy on entrepreneurial competence in the 4.0 era in class XI students at SMA 1 Rejotangan Tulungagung. The economic literacy factor can become a student's self-development in building their entrepreneurial competence, based on the variety of knowledge they have. 3) There is an influence of family education and economic literacy on 4.0 era entrepreneurial competence in class XI students at SMA 1 Rejotangan Tulungagung. This second factor is an important part of family education and economic literacy which work together in forming an entrepreneurial mentality.

Abstract

This study investigates the complex relationship between food demand, population growth, and economic development across Indonesian provinces in 2023. Using a non-linear regression approach based on the Gamma distribution, this research aims to uncover non-linear patterns and interdependencies among these variables. The analysis includes key factors such as Human Development Index (HDI), population growth rate, Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), and unemployment rates in February and August. The findings reveal that HDI significantly influences food protein demand, while GRDP, population growth, and unemployment rates exhibit non-significant impacts. The Gamma distribution is shown to effectively model the asymmetric and highly variable data characteristics. This approach provides insights into regional disparities and guides evidence-based policymaking to enhance food security and economic equity in Indonesia. The study underscores the necessity of integrating human development strategies in addressing food demand challenges.

Abstract

Economic growth is a key indicator in assessing the welfare of a region, with Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) serving as one of its primary measures. This study aims to analyze the influence of various factors on GRDP in 35 provinces of Indonesia using Generalized Linear Models (GLM) and Integrated Nested Laplace Approximation (INLA) approaches. The analyzed variables include Open Unemployment Rate (OUR), Crime Rate (CR), Poverty Rate (PR), Population (POP), and Human Development Index (HDI). The data were obtained from Indonesia's Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) for 2021. GLM was selected to capture nonlinear relationships with Gamma distribution and log link function, while INLA was utilized to estimate model parameters using a Bayesian approach, accounting for spatial data structures. This study provides a foundation for policymakers to design more effective and data-driven economic development strategies.

Abstract

Violence against women is a complex social issue with widespread impacts. West Java was recorded as the province with the highest number of cases in Indonesia in 2023, with various factors such as poverty, unemployment, and human development suspected to influence its prevalence. This study aims to model the number of cases of violence against women using Poisson and negative binomial regression to identify significant factors affecting the case numbers. The data were obtained from secondary sources, covering 27 regencies/cities in West Java. The analysis indicates that the Poisson regression model is unsuitable due to overdispersion, while the negative binomial regression model successfully addresses this issue with a lower AIC value. The results suggest that the number of people living in poverty has a significant influence on the prevalence of violence against women. This study provides valuable insights for data-driven policy-making efforts to reduce cases of violence against women and improve social welfare.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the factors of work stress in ship crew employees (ABK) and determine the effect of work stress on employee performance. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a phenomenological research model and the data obtained is based on the results of interviews and documentation. Data collection techniques use qualitative analysis techniques. The informants in this research were nine crew members (ABK) of the Akra 90 PT ship. AKR Sea Transport. In this research, the results obtained show that the work stress factors experienced (ABK) that can influence employee work stress are environmental factors with indicators of economic uncertainty, organizational factors with indicators of task demands, personal factors with indicators of family problems. Factors that influence employee work stress do not affect employee performance in a normal context and can still be overcome by employees.

Abstract

Concrete has now become one of the main materials in buildings that are very important to meet the needs of civil buildings. In various infrastructure buildings in the world, concrete made using portland cement is the biggest material that is most widely used compared to other materials such as steel, wood or bamboo. The concrete industry is the world's largest user of natural resources. Hardened concrete is a combined material consisting of coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, cement and admixture or additives if needed. One way is to replace one of the basic ingredients for making concrete with polymer. A polymer is a long molecule containing chains of atoms linked together through covalent bonds formed through a polymerization process in which monomer molecules react together chemically to form a linear chain or three-dimensional network of polymer chains. The type of polymer used in this test is a recycled polypropylene polymer (plastic pellet). The purpose of this study was to determine the compressive strength of concrete and to determine the slump value of concrete. The effect of adding polymer with variations of 0%, 2% and 4% with a design concrete quality of 25 MPa at the age of 7 days and 28 days. 28 days of concrete reached 25.27 MPa. After researching the effect of adding polymer to the concrete mix can increase the compressive strength of concrete because the test results reach the design quality.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of socio-economic indicators on the distribution of small and micro industries (SMI) in Indonesia using spatial modelling. The research employs a Bayesian approach with the Integrated Nested Laplace Approximation (INLA) method to analyse spatial dependencies and heterogeneity across regions. Data were obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), focusing on variables such as Gross Domestic Product (GDP), unemployment rate, Human Development Index (HDI), and poverty rate. The results indicate that HDI has a significant positive impact on the distribution of SMI, suggesting that improvements in education, health, and living standards foster the growth of small and micro enterprises. Spatial analysis reveals regional variations in SMI potential, with Yogyakarta, Gorontalo, and Maluku showing the highest relative potential. Conversely, regions like Papua and West Papua face significant challenges due to infrastructure and socio-economic limitations. The findings provide valuable insights for policymakers to design targeted interventions to support SMI development in different regions.
