Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect and improvement of students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities through the implementation of the Discovery Learning model on integer material. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design involving two groups, namely an experimental class receiving Discovery Learning and a control class receiving conventional instruction. Data were collected through problem-solving tests administered before and after the treatment. The data analysis focused on identifying differences in abilities and the level of improvement between the two groups. The results indicate that the Discovery Learning model has a significant effect on students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities compared to conventional learning. Furthermore, the improvement in the experimental class is categorized at a higher level than that of the control class. These findings suggest that Discovery Learning is effective in enhancing students’ problem-solving abilities and can be used as an alternative instructional model to promote active learning and deeper conceptual understanding.

Abstract

The rapid development of the fashion industry in the digital era has increased competition for local fashion brands in attracting consumer purchase intention, especially Generation Z which is strongly influenced by trends and social media. This study aims to analyze the effect of perceived value, brand credibility, Fear of missing out (FoMO), on purchase intention, and test the moderating role of FoMO in the relationship between brand credibility and purchase intention. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method on the population of Generation Z female consumers aged 18-28 years who live in the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) areas with a sample of 160 respondents through purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. The results showed that perceived value, brand credibility, and FoMO have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention. In addition, FoMO is proven to be able to strengthen the relationship between brand credibility and purchase intention. This research provides implications for fashion industry players to increase perceived value, strengthen brand credibility, and utilize relevant digital strategies to encourage consumer purchase intention.

Abstract

This community service study aims to analyze the acceleration of customer service through digital transformation using the BYOND application and to evaluate the improvement of administrative efficiency at BSI KCP Palangkaraya 1. The method employed is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation conducted from February to March 2026. The results indicate that conventional service processes at Customer Service and Teller units are still dominated by physical forms and manual verification, leading to long queues. The implementation of the BYOND application faces technical obstacles such as facial verification (liveness detection) failures and low digital literacy among senior customers. However, through direct education and mentoring programs, there has been a significant increase in administrative efficiency, a reduction in physical queues, and improved accountability of transaction data. This study confirms that the integration of digital technology, accompanied by intensive mentoring, can create a more responsive and efficient sharia banking ecosystem in Palangka Raya.

Abstract

The Racang Ngi’is tradition is a distinctive feature of the Nagekeo community in general and the Watong tribe in particular. This tradition marks the coming of age of Watong women. Racang Ngi'is is also one of the cultural rites of the Watong tribe that still survives in this era of modernization. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method and in-depth interviews with cultural figures of the Watong tribe. The purpose of this study is to explore and analyze the symbolic meaning of Racang Ngi'is and examine the concept of female maturation in the culture of the Watong tribe. It is believed that women who have undergone this process will become more independent and responsible. The results of this study show that the Racang Ngi'is tradition contains noble values that must be preserved and passed down from generation to generation. In addition to being known for its profound meaning in the development of women's maturity, this rite also has an important meaning for social life and spiritual development. Furthermore, women's dignity is valued in the stratification of Watong tribal society. Thus, this study concludes that the existence of the Racang Ngiis ritual must continue to be preserved from generation to generation.
