Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate the feasibility of Teknoran, a website-based digital learning medium developed through the Canva application for the Office Technology subject in Grade X at SMKN 31 Jakarta. The study was motivated by learning activities that were still dominated by lecture methods and limited learning media. Teknoran was designed to facilitate learning through integrated features such as learning materials, assignments, and educational games within a single platform. This research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Data were collected through observation, needs analysis questionnaires, validation sheets from material and media experts, and student response questionnaires during one-to-one and small group trials. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative techniques. The results showed that the Teknoran website achieved a feasibility score of 95% from material experts and 93.33% from media experts, both categorized as “Very Feasible.” Student responses also indicated a very high level of acceptance, with an average score of 95.68%. These findings demonstrate that Teknoran is highly feasible as a digital learning medium and can support more interactive, flexible, and independent learning in Office Technology subjects at SMKN 31 Jakarta.

Abstract

Communication within the family, especially between parents and children, is an important foundation for the development of a child's personality, emotions, and social skills. The purpose of this writing is to identify the types of parental communication styles, analyze the factors that influence them, examine their impact on child development, and provide practical recommendations to improve the effectiveness of communication patterns within the family. The method used in writing this paper is a literature study. The discussion results show that there are three main types of parental communication styles: permissive, authoritarian, and democratic. The permissive style tends to give the child unlimited freedom, the authoritarian style emphasizes control and obedience, while the democratic style encourages openness and mutual respect. The choice of communication style is influenced by various factors such as educational background, culture, past experiences, and the socio-economic conditions of parents. Each communication style has a different impact on the emotional, social, and cognitive development of children. The democratic style is considered the most effective in optimally supporting child development. This article provides recommendations to parents to increase knowledge about dialogical-based parenting, practice assertive communication skills, give children space to express their opinions, and build a family culture that is open and mutually respectful.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the relationship between students’ critical thinking skills and mathematical problem-solving abilities through a literature review approach. The study is based on the importance of mastering higher-order thinking skills in the mathematics learning process, particularly when students are faced with complex problems related to real-life situations. The method used in this research was a literature review by examining various relevant scientific journals and academic books published between 2021 and 2026. The data analysis process was carried out through stages of identification, classification, evaluation, and synthesis of the collected sources. The findings revealed a significant and positive relationship between critical thinking skills and students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities. Critical thinking skills play an important role in helping students understand problems, process and analyze information, select appropriate solution strategies, and systematically review the results obtained. Students with strong critical thinking skills generally demonstrate more optimal mathematical problem-solving abilities. In addition, the implementation of learning models such as Problem-Based Learning and contextual approaches has been considered effective in improving both abilities. Therefore, critical thinking skills are regarded as an essential aspect that needs to be developed in mathematics learning in order to enhance students’ mathematical problem-solving abilities.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education has become a strategic issue in efforts to strengthen the competitiveness and credibility of educational institutions in the era of globalization. One crucial approach to achieving this goal is developing a quality culture as a system of values, attitudes, and habits oriented towards continuous improvement. This article aims to systematically review how the concept of quality culture is applied in the educational context and answer the question: how do strategies for strengthening quality culture contribute to improving the performance of educational institutions? This research uses a qualitative approach using the Literature Review (LR) method. The data sources were scientific articles from 2020–2025 accessed through Google Scholar and Publish or Perish (PoP) with the keyword "quality culture." Of the 30 articles found, 5 were selected for thematic analysis. The review results revealed three main trends: (1) the importance of academic leadership and supervision in fostering a quality culture, (2) the role of internal quality assurance systems in consistent quality implementation, and (3) the impact of quality culture on improving institutional performance. In conclusion, quality culture is a key element in the success of sustainable education. Further research is recommended to examine digital-based and collaborative quality culture models.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low interest and understanding of students regarding the human respiratory system due to conventional teaching methods that lack interactive media. The aim of this research is to develop and assess the validity level of a Pop-Up Book learning medium for the fifth-grade respiratory system material at SDN 001 Sawah Baru. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, limited to the Development stage. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and validations by material, language, and media experts. The validation results showed that the Pop-Up Book achieved a very high level of validity, with an average score of 85.38% from material experts, 92.2% from language experts, and 93.33% from media experts. These findings indicate that the Pop-Up Book is a feasible, attractive, and interactive learning tool that effectively enhances students’ understanding of the human respiratory system. In conclusion, the developed Pop-Up Book is highly valid and potentially applicable for science learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Human philosophy is one of the branches of philosophy that explores the essence of human beings, their existence, the values inherent within them, and their relationship with the surrounding environment. In Indonesia, the study of philosophy is often perceived as an abstract subject, distant from everyday life. However, when students are introduced to various cross-cultural philosophical perspectives, a new awareness emerges about what it truly means to be human in a richer and more reflective sense. This study employs a qualitative approach to provide contextual and narrative understanding of students’ experiences in learning human philosophy from diverse cultural and global perspectives. In-depth interviews were conducted with 24 students who had taken the human philosophy course, and the data were analyzed using content analysis to identify key emerging themes. The findings revealed six major themes: developing critical and reflective thinking, understanding cultural diversity, strengthening ethics and morality, increasing self-awareness, making decisions through philosophical perspectives, and fostering tolerance and appreciation for differences. These findings highlight that the study of human philosophy is not only academically relevant but also transformative in shaping students’ character and global awareness. Therefore, it is recommended that human philosophy be taught using a multicultural and global approach, rather than being limited to a single cultural perspective.

Abstract

The goal of Islamic education focuses not only on improving cognitive abilities, but also on the formation of a complete human being (insan kamil) who integrates knowledge, attitudes, spirituality, and life skills based on Islamic values. This article aims to examine the relevance of Bloom's Taxonomy in the context of Islamic education, particularly its application to Islamic values ​​in educational institutions. This research uses a literature study method with a descriptive qualitative approach through analysis of classical and contemporary literature. The results show that the three main domains in Bloom's Taxonomy—cognitive, affective, and psychomotor—are aligned with the goals of Islamic education. The cognitive domain, as implied in Q.S. Al-'Alaq: 1–5, emphasizes the importance of reading, understanding, and critical thinking as forms of intellectual development. The affective domain is related to the formation of noble character, sincerity, and self-control (Q.S. Al-Syu'ara: 88–89), which serve as the moral foundation of students. Meanwhile, the psychomotor domain emphasizes the application of Islamic values ​​in real behavior through worship, discipline, and social responsibility. The integration of these three domains reflects a holistic approach to Islamic education that balances intellectual, spiritual, and moral aspects. Thus, Bloom's Taxonomy can be used as an integrative learning model that enriches the Islamic education process and strengthens its role in character and civilization formation. Consequently, Islamic educators need to develop learning strategies that not only measure cognitive abilities but also foster students' religious attitudes and skills, leading to individuals of faith, knowledge, and noble character.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively describe the implementation of differentiated learning in classroom management and analyze its impact on students’ learning outcomes, particularly in mathematics subjects. The research method employed is a literature review by examining various scholarly sources such as national and international journals, educational textbooks, and relevant research articles. The findings indicate that differentiated learning is a pedagogical approach that places students at the center of the learning process by accommodating individual differences in terms of readiness, interests, and learning styles. This approach has proven effective in enhancing students’ motivation, active engagement, and conceptual understanding of mathematical content. Although its implementation presents several challenges, including classroom management complexity, time constraints, and limited learning resources, numerous studies report significant improvements in post-test scores, learning activities, and overall learning achievement following the application of differentiated learning strategies. Therefore, differentiated learning can serve as a strategic solution to create an inclusive, adaptive, and learner-centered educational environment, ultimately improving the quality of teaching and learning, especially in mathematics education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the Independent Learning Independent Campus Program (MBKM) on the soft skills of students of the class of 2021 in the Department of Economic Education, Gorontalo State University. The method used is quantitative with an explanatory approach, which aims to explain the causal relationship between the variables of the MBKM program and students' soft skills. Primary data was obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to 35 respondents who were active students in the batch. Data analysis was performed using simple linear regression with the help of SPSS software version 21. The results of the study show that the MBKM Program has a positive and significant influence on students' soft skills. This means that the higher the level of student involvement in the MBKM program, the better their abilities in terms of communication, teamwork, time management, adaptability, and confidence. The magnitude of the influence of the MBKM program on students' soft skills reached 65.3%, while the remaining 34.7% was influenced by other factors that were not discussed in this study. These findings provide important implications for the development of curriculum and learning strategies in higher education, especially in integrating the MBKM program as an effort to improve the quality of graduates who are ready to face the challenges of the world of work and global society.
