Abstract

Ginger is one of the herbal plants that has many benefits, especially for health. Ginger functional drink was developed in powder form so that it is more practical for consumption. The purpose of this study was to determine panelists preference for ginger extract instant drinks from 3 different types of ginger, namely: elephant ginger, emprit ginger and red ginger. Sensory assessment was done descriptively and hedonic which includes color, taste and aroma of the ginger instant drink produced. The sensory results of ginger extract instant drink were color 3.55 (like) - 3.8 (like); taste 3.05 (normal) - 3.45 (normal) and aroma 3.5 (normal) - 3.85 (like). The results showed that panelists preferred the red ginger extract instant drink.

Abstract

The purpose of the this research is to know: (1). The Influence of Farmer Motivation and Participation on the Success Rate of the Organic Fertilizer Processing Unit Program (UPPO), (2). The Influence of Farmer Motivation on the Success Rate of the Organic Fertilizer Processing Unit Program (UPPO), (3). The Influence of Farmer Participation on the Success Rate of the Organic Fertilizer Processing Unit Program (UPPO). This research was conducted at Farmers Group Sumber Sri Asih in Wanguk Village, Anjatan Subdistrict, Indramayu Regency in July-September 2019. Using survey method in farmer group who got UPPO Program, with questionnaire as a tool to know information from the respondent. The data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. The results showed that: (1). The collectively, Farmer Motivation And Participation, there is a positive and significant influence on the Success Rate of the Organic Fertilizer Processing Unit Program (UPPO). (2). There is a positive dan significant influence of Farmer Motivation on the Success Rate of the Organic Fertilizer Processing Unit Program (UPPO), (3). There is a positive and significant influence of Farmer Participation on the Success Rate of the Organic Fertilizer Processing Unit Program (UPPO).

Abstract

Analysis of the pomegranate guava farming business in Mranak Village provides an overview of the economic contribution of this sector to the region. This research aims to analyze the costs, revenues, income, BEP and R/C of the water guava business in Dempet Mranak Village, Wonosalam, Demak Regency. The method used in this research used a descriptive method. This research was carried out in the last post-harvest month of October-November 2023. The number of farmers involved in this research was 12 water apple farmers. The research results show that the average total costs incurred are Rp. 4,497,917/harvest/0.7 Ha on own land, the average production amount is 1,383 Kg/harvest season/0.7 Ha and the average selling price is IDR 10,000/Kg, resulting in an average total revenue of IDR 13,833,333/harvest season/0.7 Ha, resulting in an average income of IDR 9,335,417/0.7Ha/harvest season. The average production BEP calculation is 449.8/Kg/0.7Ha/harvest season and the price BEP is IDR 3,626/0.7Ha/harvest season. The price BEP and unit BEP are both smaller than the market price and production quantity. The average RC ratio for water guava farming is 3.07

Abstract

ABSRACT The method of processing klepon generally hereditary and very few people create klepon. Efforts are being made to enrich the nutritional content of klepon and reduce the use of glutinous rice flour in making klepon, by adding purple sweet potato. This study aims to: (1) Determine the panelists' acceptance of klepon with the addition of purple sweet potato, (2) Determine the anthocyanin levels of klepon with the addition of purple sweet potato. This type of research is experimental. The method used was Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with four treatments of adding purple sweet potato to klepon, namely 0% ; 60% ; 50% ; 40%. The organoleptic test data collection technique used a questionnaire on 25 untrained panelists. The results of the statistical analysis of the Kruskal Wallis test obtained color (p = 0.350), scent (p = 0.001), texture (p = 0.016), taste (p = 0.014). The results of the One-Way ANOVA statistical analysis showed anthocyanin levels (p = 0.001). The results showed that the F1 product was the best product in terms of color. Product F0 is the best product in terms of scent. Product F2 is the best product in terms of texture and taste. Overall product F2 is the best product with the highest average value of 3.78. While product F1 is a product that has the highest average value of anthocyanin content of 0.9719 mg/100 g.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the marketing strategy implemented by PT. Magnesium Gosari International in promoting its dolomite fertilizer products. Qualitative methods were used in this research, which involved collecting data through observation, interviews and literature reviews. The research results show that PT. Magnesium Gosari International uses a direct marketing strategy, conducting face-to-face interactions with potential consumers (direct selling) and utilizing communication tools such as email, letters and telephone. The company implements a segmentation strategy based on geography and behavior, targeting farmer groups and business actors in the agricultural, plantation and industrial sectors. The company's positioning is focused on the production of high quality dolomite fertilizer products to meet domestic and international needs. The marketing mix consists of various brands and types of dolomite fertilizer products, flexible prices, online and offline promotional activities, and efficient distribution channels. Challenges faced include losing tenders due to uncompetitive transportation costs, incomplete distribution coverage throughout Indonesia, and limited awareness of farmers regarding the benefits of dolomite fertilizer.

Abstract

Pada era globalisasi saat ini, negara-negara mempraktikkan perdagangan bebas, dan perdagangan regional dan internasional tidak lagi sulit bagi produsen. Mengingat tidak ada satu negara pun yang mampu hidup sendiri, maka kerjasama antar negara sangatlah diperlukan. tanpa dukungan negara lain dalam rangka mencapai tujuan nasionalnya, Oleh karena itu, memerlukan sinergi  beberapa negara untuk menciptakan  kesejahteraan bagi rakyatnya. Metodologi pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif untuk menjelaskan fakta terkait kerja sama bilateral Indonesia dan Malaysia dalam meningkatkan daya saing sektor kelapa sawit di Asia Tenggara. Kerjasama yang disepakati dan dilaksanakan serta selanjutnya dilakukan dalam melakukan berbagai kegiatan operasional dengan partisipasi pemerintah dan khususnya komunitas bisnis dari negara-negara yang terlibat dalam kerjasama.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk perencanaan pengoptimasian transportasi Tandan Buah Segar (TBS) di kebun kelapa sawit dengan menganalisis sebab-akibat ketidakoptimalan sistem pengangkutan buah di kebun kelapa sawit yang membuat waktu lama proses angkut buah masih belum efisien. Sehingga perlu dievaluasi apa saja faktor penyebab terjadinya ketidakoptimalan pada proses angkut buah. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan model studi kasus di PTPN V Riau Kebun Tandun. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah dengan terjun langsung ke lapangam, melihat dan observasi lapang, mengumpulkan data primer dan data sekunder menggunakan analisis fishbone diagram. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada beberapa faktor yang berdampak pada ketidakoptimalan dalam proses pengangkutan yakni melibatkan aspek input seperti sumber daya manusia, kapasitas pemanen, dan kinerja pemanen. Selanjutnya faktor bahan baku seperti ukuran buah, alat panen, metode pengangkutan, kapasitas angkut, jenis armada, jarak temuh dan kondisi lingkungan. Dari semua aspek ini menjadi perhatian utama dalam usaha meningkatkan optimasi proses pengangkutan buah kelapa sawit. Dengan pemahaman yang mendalam terhadap seluruh aspek ini, perusahaan dapat merencanakan dan melaksanakan kegiatan transportasi secara optimal.

Abstract

Rose (Rosa hybrida L.) is a popular cut flower species in Indonesia. Roses have a high enough economic and social value to be used as a commercial trade commodity. This suggests that rose cultivation is an agribusiness-oriented business with very bright prospects. This study aims to determine the turnover, revenue, marketing costs, profit and R/C ratio of cut roses sales in Bandungan Semarang Flower Market. The basic method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling method technique or census. With the number of respondents as many as 10 traders. The results of the research of the business of selling cut roses issued an average turnover of Rp.25,000,000, revenue of Rp.15.000,000 with marketing costs of Rp.7.225,000 so as to obtain a profit of Rp.7.775,000 / month. The average R / C ratio value of the business of selling cut roses is 2.08, which means that the business of selling cut roses is feasible because R / C > 1.

Abstract

Supply Chain Management plays a crucial part in the operations of a company's business organization. Through the implementation of supply chain management, industries can mitigate losses and subsequently increase their profitability. Companies can facilitate the collaboration of stakeholders involved in the conversion of raw resources into finished products. Consequently, the optimization of the production process and distribution of products/services generated by an industry can enhance operational efficiency. Supply chain management involves the identification of suppliers, strategic planning of logistics, and efficient delivery of goods and materials. The objective of this research is to assess the planning of supply chain management (SCM), investigate the process of supplier selection, and analyze logistics distribution. This study employs qualitative methodologies with a descriptive analytic framework that exclusively concentrates on the planning aspect of Supply Chain Management. The findings of this study indicate that the selection of suppliers in companies involves a collaborative effort among multiple agents who contribute essential materials for the production process and supply chain management (SCM). This collaboration encompasses various aspects, such as procurement procedures, data on multiple raw material suppliers, material handling at the warehouse, the production process, supplier distribution to the company, distribution to customers, and logistics transportation. The supply distribution follows a centralized approach, where approved supplies from the industrial warehouse are subsequently distributed to consumers through suppliers who are company partners responsible for distributing the finished products.

Abstract

Agricultural extension refers to the dissemination of knowledge from an instructor to those involved in the agricultural industry. The research was conducted in Prupuh Village, Panceng District, Gresik Regency, which has 14 hamlets. Agricultural production in this location is still relatively poor. Low agricultural productivity is caused by the low ability of farmers to apply agricultural technology and innovation. As a result, an agricultural extension program was implemented, with a special focus on tobacco production. This research was conducted to assess the effectiveness of agricultural extension services. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, namely selecting 3 farmers as research respondents from a total of 14 hamlets, resulting in a total of 42 respondents. Research findings show that the implementation of extension programs involves two different processes: farmer participation in the extension process and farmer involvement in decision making with an average score of 2.845. Regarding the implementation of extension programs, currently there are 8 programs with an average score of 2.899. this indicates that counseling can be considered successful because the score is above the threshold.
