Abstract

This study aims to explore the experiences of broiler chicken farmers in running a business with a partnership and independent system in Bulukumba Regency. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a case study design, which involves in-depth interviews with broiler chicken farmers who apply both systems. The results of the study indicate that farmers who use a partnership system tend to feel greater support from partners, including in terms of access to capital, training, and product marketing. However, they also face challenges related to dependence on partners and profit sharing that is not always fair. On the other hand, farmers who run their businesses independently have the freedom to make decisions and manage their businesses, but often face difficulties in terms of access to resources and markets. These findings provide important insights into the dynamics faced by broiler chicken farmers in Bulukumba Regency, as well as implications for the development of policies and practices in the livestock sector. This study is expected to be a reference for farmers, academics, and stakeholders in improving the sustainability of broiler chicken farming businesses in the area.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the profit-sharing system between landowners and tenant farmers in Pancaitana sub-district. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method through interviews, observation, and documentation involving four informants. The findings show that the profit-sharing system is based on mutual agreement and trust, often carried out orally without a written contract. Two profit-sharing patterns were found: 1:1 when costs are shared, and 1:2 in favor of the cultivator when they bear all costs. The system aligns with Islamic economic principles, emphasizing justice, voluntarism, and mutual benefit. However, the absence of written agreements poses potential legal risks.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jumlah persediaan bahan baku rotan di Galeri kerajinan rotan di Desa Piantus menggunakan metode EOQ dan mengetahui titik pemesanan kembali bahan baku. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Data yang diolah adalah data persediaan bahan baku tahun 2021. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah EOQ, SS, dan ROP. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelian bahan baku rotan besar yang optimal adalah 205 potong, biaya pemesana Rp 65.024, biaya penyimpanan Rp 65.395, total biaya persediaan Rp 130.419,safety stock sebanyak 81 potong dan melakukan Reorder Point saat persediaan berada pada 48 potong. sedangkan pembelian rotan kecil yang optimal adalah 1.131 potong, biaya pemesanan Rp 65.115, biaya penyimpanan Rp 65.032, total biaya persediaan Rp 130.147, safety stock sebanyak 369 potong dan melakukan Reorder point saat persediaan berada pada 216 potong. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemesanan bahan baku rotan bila dihitung dengan metode EOQ lebih optimal dengan frekuensi pemesanan 13 kali dibandingkan dengan frekuensi pemesanan 4 kali bila dihitung menurut Galery Rotan. Biaya persediaan yang dikeluarkan Galery Rotan. untuk bahan baku rotan bila dihitung dengan metode EOQ dapat menghemat pengeluaran biaya persediaan bahan baku rotan dibandingkan dengan perhitungan pengeluaran Galery Rotan yang selama ini diterapkan.

Abstract

Singkong merupakan produk pertanian yang cocok untuk di jadikan unit bisnis karena manfaat yang di peroleh komoditi tersebut cukup banyak dan bermanfaat melihat pangsa pasar yang cukup menggiurkan dengan bahan baku singkong. Singkong ( Manihot esculenta ) yang dikenal juga ketela pohon atau Ubi kayu, adalah pohon tahunan tropika dan subtropika dari keluarga Euphorbiaceae. ubinya dikenal luas sebagai makanan pokok penghasil karbohidrat dan daunnya sebagai sayuran. Pengolahan kerupuk singkong melibatkan serangkaian langkah-langkah yang bertujuan untuk mengubah singkong mentah, yang merupakan bahan baku utama, menjadi produk akhir yang berupa kerupuk singkong yang gurih, renyah, dan bernilai tinggi di pasaran. Tujuan praktek kerja lapangan ini adalah Untuk mengetahui bahan-bahan dan alat-alat yang digunakan dalam proses pengolahan kerupuk singkong di UD Nusantara Putra dan untuk mengetahui proses pengolahaan kerupuk singkong di UD Nusantara putra. Metode pengumpulan data , untuk memperoleh data, observasi, pengamatan dan praktek kerja lapangan, dan untuk pengambilan data, data sekunder dan primer. Hasil penelitian menjujukan bahwa bahan-bahan dan alat-alat yang digunakan dalam proses pengolahan kerupuk singkong adalah singkong, tepung tapioka, pemanis, pemutih dan garam. Sedangkan alat-alat yang digunakan adalah pisau, bak pencampuran, mesin penggiling, steples,terpal, eblek, bak/baskom, timbangan, alat pencetak, mesin pemarut, karung dan plastik dan Di UD Nusantara Putra, proses pengolahan kerupuk singkong masih sangat bergantung pada tenaga manusia, karena banyak menggunakan alat-alat tradisional. Hal ini membuat prosesnya kurang efisien dibandingkan jika menggunakan alat modern yang dapat meringankan beban kerja. Keywords: singkong. Kerupuk dan pengolahan Cassava is an agricultural product that is suitable to be made into a business unit because the benefits obtained from this commodity are quite numerous and useful considering the quite attractive market share with cassava as its raw material. Cassava (Manihot esculenta), also known as cassava or cassava, is a tropical and subtropical annual tree from the Euphorbiaceae family. The tuber is widely known as a staple food producing carbohydrates and its leaves as vegetables. The processing of cassava crackers involves a series of steps aimed at converting raw cassava, which is the main raw material, into a final product in the form of cassava crackers that are tasty, crispy, and have high market value. The purpose of this field work practice is to find out the ingredients and tools used in the process of processing cassava crackers at UD Nusantara Putra and to find out the process of processing cassava crackers at UD Nusantara Putra. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of free cash flow on earnings management practices in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2017 to 2023. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach and multiple regression analysis. Free cash flow is measured as the difference between operating cash flow and investing cash flow divided by total assets, while earnings management is measured using the Modified Jones Model through discretionary accruals. The results show that free cash flow has a negative and significant effect on earnings management. This finding indicates that the higher a company's free cash flow, the less likely it is to engage in earnings management practices. This reflects that strong free cash flow can be a positive signal to stakeholders, reduce the need for accounting manipulation, and strengthen transparency and trust in a company's financial statements. This research contributes to investors, management, and regulators in understanding the role of free cash flow strategy in financial decision-making and corporate governance

Abstract

Taro (Colocasia esculenta L.) is a local food crop with significant potential to increase farmers’ income in the Mentawai Islands. This study aims to examine the impact of taro cultivation on farmers’ income in Sidomakmur Village through a combination of literature review and field observation methods. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with 20 taro farmers, and a review of relevant literature. The findings indicate that taro cultivation has a positive impact on farmers' income through optimal land use, relatively short growing cycles, and stable market demand. Supporting factors for increased income include favorable agroecological conditions, easily adopted cultivation techniques, and the utilization of all parts of the plant. Challenges faced by farmers include limited market access, price fluctuations, and a lack of technical assistance. Taro cultivation has proven to enhance farmers’ welfare and holds strong potential as a leading agricultural commodity in the Mentawai Islands. Based on the results of the community service program, taro cultivation in Sidomakmur Village can be developed into an MSME program called "Kita Bisa Desa Sidomakmur", with a tangible outcome in the form of the "Kita Bisa" Taro Chips business. This business engages housewives as the main workforce, produces authentic Mentawai souvenirs with attractive packaging, and creates job opportunities for 15–20 people in each business unit.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of coffee shop interior design and ambience on the purchasing decisions of Generation Z consumers at Central Caffe Gresik. Using a survey method with 100 respondents, this study explores how elements of interior design and ambience affect visit frequency, visit duration, purchase amount, and intention to return and recommend. The results indicate that both interior design and ambience have a significant influence on purchasing decisions, with ambience having a slightly stronger impact. These findings provide valuable insights for coffee shop businesses in designing strategies to attract and retain Generation Z customers.

Abstract

Household waste is a source of environmental pollution, the amount of which is increasing along with population growth and daily community activities. The type of waste produced is mostly food scraps, vegetables, and fruits, which are classified as organic waste. If not managed properly, this waste can cause serious problems, such as unpleasant odors, soil, water, and air pollution, and even become a source of disease. However, household waste has great potential to be reused as environmentally friendly organic fertilizer. This study aims to describe the use of household waste as organic fertilizer in Jrebeng Kulon Village and to examine its impact on the local community's agricultural land. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the community of Jrebeng Kulon Village has processed household organic waste using a simple composting method, using both containers and holes in the ground. The resulting fertilizer has been proven to increase soil fertility, reduce farmers' dependence on chemical fertilizers, and reduce the volume of household waste disposed of in landfills. These findings indicate that the use of household waste as organic fertilizer not only plays a role in maintaining agricultural sustainability but also supports the creation of a healthier and more sustainable environment.

Abstract

Avocado is a fruit that has many benefits and is popular in Indonesia. Avocado production has consistently increased over the past 5 years (2019-2024) with the largest increase in production occurring from 2020 to 2021 reaching 32%. This increase indicates that avocados have good economic prospects, so that potential development efforts focused on farming are needed. Researchers are interested in conducting research with the aim of analyzing; the development and potential of avocado production in Indonesia during the period 2001-2023 and knowing what strategies need to be implemented in Indonesia in an effort to encourage the development and potential of avocados in Indonesia. The scope of this research includes data on avocado production in Indonesia during the 21st century, from 2001 to 2023 (22 years) obtained from FAOSTAT (2025). The methods and stages of data analysis used in this study consist of; First, descriptive analysis: Second, Compounded Annual Growth Rate (CAGR): Third, literature study: fourth, a scenario for increasing Indonesian avocado production was designed, compared with avocado production results in Mexico: fifth, a discussion was conducted regarding strategies that can be implemented by Indonesia to increase the competitiveness of avocado production. The results of the analysis of avocado production in Indonesia and Mexico, obtained that: The development of avocado production in Indonesia (2001-2023) over the past 22 years, overall increased. However, advances in agricultural technology and government policy support helped this sector recover and continue to grow. The average annual production growth (CAGR) is 2.46%, indicating stable growth. The potential for avocado production in Indonesia during the period (2024-2046) is estimated to increase steadily from 664,872 tons and in 2046 increase to 1,468,612 tons.

Abstract

Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) is a horticultural commodity with high economic and nutritional value. This quantitative study analyzes the influence of price and product quality on the sales volume of organic green lettuce in the Bangkit Merbabu Farmers Group, Batur Village, Getasan District, Semarang Regency. The research was conducted from May to June 2025 using a case study method with purposive sampling. A total of 33 respondents, consisting of group members and administrators, were selected. Primary data were obtained through questionnaires, interviews, and observations, while secondary data came from literature and statistical reports. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with F-test, T-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The results show that price and product quality simultaneously and partially have a significant effect on sales volume. The determination coefficient (R²) value of 82.3% indicates that variations in price and product quality explain most of the changes in sales volume, while 17.7% is influenced by other factors not examined. The findings highlight that competitive pricing strategies and consistent product quality are essential to strengthen market competitiveness and increase sales of organic green lettuce.
