Abstract

Science skills are skills that students need when they are investigating. These skills are needed by students in the process of inquiry to solve problems from a natural phenomenon that is around them. general reality many of the skills of students who tend to be passive and low. The low scientific skills of students because the learning process does not involve practicum. Therefore, this study aims to find out. Improved science skills in terms of high school student activities through inquiry training learning models. This type of research is descriptive. The instrument of this study was the activity evaluation observation sheet. Each student observation sheet consists of five indicators. The indicator is confronting the problem, verifying data, experimenting, processing data and inquiry analysis. The results showed that skills based on assessment of activity indicators increased at each meeting.

Abstract

Learning physics is considered difficult and unpleasant by most students. This is because at the time of learning the teacher did not apply a learning model that involved students, resulting in low student learning outcomes. This study aims to reanalyze the influence of the inquiry training learning model on the learning outcomes of high school physics students in class X. This type of research is a quantitative metaanalysis. The sample consists of 10 articles with S1-S6 reputation. The collection of articles uses an instrument, namely an observation sheet. The results obtained that the average effect size of the influence of inquiry training learning model on physics learning outcomes in high school class X is 0.885 in the medium category and the inquiry training learning model is effectively used on heat material with an effect size of 1.162 in the high category. Based on the results of this study, it was found that there was an influence of the inquiry training learning model on the learning outcomes of high school physics students in class X.Keywords: Inquiry Training; Learning Outcomed

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of the physics e-module based on the Kvisoft Flipbook Maker application on Circular Motion material. The type of method used in this study is development or Research and Development (R&D) using the 4D model, but is limited to three stages: 1) define, 2) design and 3) develop. The research results based on the validation of material experts and media experts obtained a total score of 19.7, with an average of 4.92 and 16.78 with an average of 4.19 "very feasible" e-module to use. This validation was also carried out on physics teachers with an average of 4.22 and was declared "very feasible". For in the e-module practicality test based on student responses for small groups involving 5 students and the results of an average percentage score of 88.8% with the interpretation of "very practical". In the large group test involving 30 students and the results were 86% with the interpretation of "very practical". While the results of student learning tests through the pre-test and post-test given to 30 students consisting of 10 multiple choice questions, the learning outcomes of students' cognitive knowledge aspects were classified as effective because they had scores between (g) ≥ 0.70, namely 0 ,72. This shows that the e-module based on the kvisoft flipbook maker application on circular motion material is stated to be "very effective" and can improve student learning outcomes. Keywords: E-Module; Kvisoft Flipbook Maker; Circular Motion.

Abstract

Teaching and learning activities not only require students to obtain good cognitive learning outcomes but also require students to be able to play an active role in learning so that students have good attitudes and skills as well. Student activeness can be seen from the activities or activities during learning. Therefore, this study aims to determine the increase in student learning activities and student learning outcomes using the Inquiry Training learning model. This type of research is a quasi experiment. The instrument used was the observation sheet in accordance with the learning model applied and the learning outcome test in the form of an essay totaling 10 items. The results showed that an increase in student learning activities would affect the achievement of student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the acceleration of gravity on the pendulum swing with video tracking method. The research was conducted through video on a simple pendulum swing experiment. The recorded video is imported into the Tracker app to get the period and frequency for each trial with different rope lengths. The rope length and mass data were measured manually, and the period and frequency data were obtained through video tracking analysis. The research results are shown in tables and graphs. Data analysis used a linear regression equation between the square of the period and the length of the pendulum. The magnitude of the acceleration due to gravity is obtained through the gradient of the quadratic equation and the length of the rope. The results show that the acceleration of gravity through video tracking analysis is 9.735 m/s2 .Keywords: pendulum swing, video tracking, acceletiation of gravity

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic resulted in a remarkable change in learning activities, where all levels of education had to be transformed in order to adapt to learning from home through online media. This study aims to find out how to learn on the Covid-19 pandemic for students, schools, and people. This research was conducted with literature research. The source of research data is obtained from articles and publication journals collected using documentation techniques. Analysis techniques using content analysis of literature and articles that are the source of research data. The results showed that in the practice of implementing online learning, many obstacles occurred both from students, teachers, and parents. These constraints make online learning less effective  Keywords: Pandemic; Covid-19; learning; online

Abstract

Designing relevant, effective, and valid student worksheet teaching materials is the goal of this project. by utilizing a STEM strategy focused on e-learning for magnitude and units. The ADDIE model and the R&D approach were used to conduct this study. Three validators are used to determine the product's validity during the creation stage: material experts, media experts, and teachers. A normalized gain test (N-Gain) was conducted to evaluate the product's efficacy. Moreover, depending on the feedback from the students, to assess the product's practically. There are small-scale tests with 10 students and large-scale tests with 20 students used in product development. The instruments employed were expert validity questionnaires and student response questionnaires. Testing for validity, efficacy, and practicality on goods reveals that the produced LKPD is highly valid, highly effective, and highly practical as a teaching resource in learning activities.
