Abstract

This study aims to determine the sentiment of the news of the domestically produced IndoVac Vaccine launch. The pros and cons sentiments of Detik.com's coverage were analyzed using Discourse Network Analysis (DNA) and network visualization using Visone software. The study results are based on news related to the IndoVac vaccine from September 3 to November 30, 2022; there are 50 news stories with 193 statements from 33 Actors. Information, Policy, and Education categories were found, with 93% positive and 7% negative statements. The influence of the IndoVac Vaccine makes social media users more careful in digging up information to understand media coverage, especially regarding the IndoVac vaccine.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the marketing communication strategy of Wedding Organizer @Ngantenan.Yuk through Instagram social media. With the Instagram social media Wedding Organizer @Ngantenan. Let's do marketing and promotion. Marketing and advancements made by Wedding Organizer @Ngantenan.Yuk are posting photos and videos of client weddings and information about weddings through Instagram. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. Primary data is from information obtained from interviews with several informants. In comparison, secondary data is in the form of data obtained from books and other sources. The theory used in scientific writing research is New Media. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the research results, the marketing communication strategy carried out by the Wedding Organizer @Ngantenan.Yuk was considered very good and appropriate. The marketing communication strategy carried out by Wedding Organizer @Ngantenan.Yuk is through Instagram social media by posting photos and videos of the client's wedding. Therefore, Wedding Organizer @Ngantenan.Yuk utilizes Instagram social media as a promotional tool to create the desired target. The advice that researchers can give is to be more consistent in marketing their services on the Wedding Organizer Instagram account @Ngantenan.Yuk to attract the attention of clients and face competition from other Wedding Organizers.

Abstract

This research analyzes the impact of Perceived Ease of Use, Social Influence, Facilitating Conditions, and User Experience in GPT Chat and how it affects Interaction Efficiency and Emotional Impact of communication interactions with machines. The theoretical frameworks are the Unified Theory of Technology Acceptance and Use (UTAUT) and Human Machine Interaction (HCI). Data was collected through a questionnaire with a Likert scale and tested on 100 respondents using the Purposive Sampling method among Chat GPT users. The research results reveal that five variables, namely Perceived Ease of Use, Facilitating Conditions, and User Experience, positively and significantly influence Interaction Efficiency and Emotional Impact. Still, the Social Influence variable does not substantially affect User Experience Perceived Ease of Use, and The UTAUT model contributes 17.7% to User Experience. In contrast, User Experience contributes 5.6% to Interaction Efficiency, and Interaction Efficiency contributes 517.9% to Emotional Impact.

Abstract

This study aimed to find patterns of interpersonal communication and communication barriers that occur in role-play pairs on Twitter. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. The research informants were three pairs of role players. The results showed that three patterns of interpersonal communication occurred between the pair of role players, namely primary communication patterns, secondary communication patterns, and circular communication patterns. In interpersonal communication between the pair of role players, obstacles were found, namely misunderstandings in interpreting the message content, conflicts in relationships, obstacles caused by the network, and obstacles caused by the busyness of role-play players.

Abstract

Music is a way to convey messages or communicate using sound to people in different ways. Through music, musicians want to convey messages, explain, entertain others, and use lyrics as a means for the writer to express what they want. Lyrics have a message in the form of words or sentences used to create particular imaginations or conditions in the listener. Songs are also often used as a place to sympathize with the reality of what is happening or imaginative stories. One of the most famous musicians in Indonesia is Iwan Fals. He is a singer and songwriter with pop, rock, country, and folk-pop music styles. Amid the development of the Indonesian music industry, through his songs, Iwan Fals raises social issues in Indonesian life and global life from the late 1970s to the present. Iwan Fals tries to penetrate the boundaries of conventional realism by looking for aspects of reality that have never been shown before. Apart from the character of Iwan Fals' songs, which deal with many social phenomena, he also writes songs with romantic or love nuances where each part of the lyrics has a deep meaning, for example, the song "Yang Terlupakan." "Yang Terlupakan" was rated by Rolling Stone Indonesia magazine as the 42nd best Indonesian song out of 150 best Indonesian songs. "Yang Terlupakan" by Iwan Fals has a profound and robust message about regret for one's past and reality. To analyze the meaning of Iwan Fals' song "Yang Terlupakan," the author uses the semiotic theory of Ferdinand De Saussure. Semiotics, according to Saussure, is the study of signs in social life, including what these signs are and what laws govern the formation of signs.

Abstract

Sustainable tourism is a program made by the government to maintain and plan the continuation of the tourism industry. As part of the Sustainable Development Goals Agenda, sustainable tourism can improve the quality of a destination or a business. This study aims to identify the programs carried out by Tanamera Coffee Bali in implementing the concept of sustainable tourism as part of supporting the progress of tourism in Bali. This study uses qualitative research methods and descriptive analysis methods. The research results obtained are that Tanamera Coffee has implemented sustainable tourism in its business programs. It has positively impacted Tanamera Coffee, namely increasing visitors to Tanamera Coffee and giving a good reputation to the Tanamera Coffee Bali brand. The advice that can be given is Tanamera Coffee needs to periodically socialize the understanding of sustainable tourism to its employees and make it the standard for all Tanamera Coffee outlets in Indonesia and abroad.

Abstract

Communication activities are inherent in daily human life in socializing. The skill to communicate properly and correctly is a competency that a teacher must recognize. It is as stated in the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 14 of 2005, regarding Teachers and Lecturers, Government Regulation Number 19 of 2005, the issue of national education standards, and regulations Minister of National Education (Permendiknas) Number 16 of 2007 issues Standards for Academic Qualifications and Teacher Competency. This study aimed to find out the strategies used by teachers and students in the online learning process during the pandemic at SMA Negeri 10 Ambon. The type of research used is quantitative research. The location of this research was conducted at SMA Negeri 10 Ambon, with the consideration that there is an online teaching and learning process. The results obtained, testing the hypothesis that has been done hypothesis is accepted. It shows that teacher and student communication strategies have a significant influence on online learning at SMA Negeri 10 Ambon. The influence of teacher and student communication strategies on online learning at SMA Negeri 10 Ambon can be seen from the value of the coefficient of determination (R²). Based on the calculations, an R² value of 61.2% was obtained. Teacher and student communication strategies for online learning at SMA Negeri 10 Ambon, while the remaining 38.8% was explained or influenced by other variables not examined.

Abstract

Culture is a product of human creativity that is very diverse. Hutumuri village is part of the Pata Shiva family which still maintains its customs, one of which is marinyo. Marinyo's role for the community is to channel information from the king by shouting directly to the community. Currently, there are many smartphone applications that can be used as a channel of information to the community, so the role of marinyo is not functioning properly in the customs of the Negeri Hutumuri. The role of the marinyo in the customary land must function optimally, especially by the king who leads the country. The problem studied in this research is the role of marinyo in Negeri Hutumuri by seeing and knowing the role of marinyo in customs in Negeri Hutumuri in Maluku. This study aimed to determine the extent of the role of marinyo in the State of Hutumuri. The scientific approach used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach where the researcher conducts interviews, observations, and literature studies. Research informants are raja, saniri, and marinyo. The study's results indicate that the role of communication, in this case, carried out by a marinyo is still very necessary. Communication carried out through the State Government (king), to Marinyo, then to the community through tabaos (bataria tita) is still effective because the message conveyed by a Marinyo can be accepted and clearly understood by the community.

Abstract

Changes in the world of work that are constantly updated due to globalization and changes in the technology field to the digital world have demanded an assessment of the skills needed. Among the significant changes that have occurred is the increase in the unemployment rate of educated people. Especially fresh graduates produced by universities, resulting in increased unemployment, generation Z needs help entering the workforce with the desired position. This research aims to find out how 1) Gen Z's motive in searching for Job Advertisement Information on Instagram Account @lokerjakarta.info. 2) Gen Z's Perception of Job Advertisement in Instagram Account @lokerjakarta.info. This research method is qualitative research. Qualitative research aims to explain the phenomena experienced by describing them in words. Subject followers @lokerjakarta.info who are Generation Z. The results showed that a person's motive in searching for job advertisement information on the @lokerjakarta.info account varies, including getting information from friends through attractive advertisements, locker information that suits the personality and needs of the job seeker, information about walk interviews that make job seekers able to get a job while conducting job interviews directly so that the advertisement is helpful for job seekers, while Gen Z's perception of advertisements in the @lokerjakarta account. Info ads that are updated daily provide additional information about the desired job, easy access to applying for a job, and a sense of security and trust in the ads in the @lokerjakarta.info account because it is affiliated with the Atma job application.
