Abstract

Information and communication technology plays an important role in facilitating many parts of everyday life. In the current digital era, almost all daily activities are related to technology, which has the benefit of making daily activities and activities easier. The South Sumatra Province Communications and Informatics Service, which has the main responsibility for supervising and advancing the communications and informatics sector under its jurisdiction, is implementing a governance system that currently includes E-Kinerja as an expression of governance. ASN's daily performance, which is related to additional compensation for employees, is evaluated using the E-Kinerja program. It is very important to implement an E-Kinerja strategy because some workers do not do their jobs well or according to their respective workloads. As a result, the public service system becomes slow, complicated and does not work ideally due to a lack of effectiveness, efficiency, transparency and accountability in the work carried out by employees. This research aims to assess the current condition of E-Kinerja in the South Sumatra Province Communication and Information Service, as well as propose realistic and evidence-based changes that will increase efficiency and effectiveness in workplaces and government services. The method the author uses is the System Usability Scale (SUS). The expected benefits of this research are that E-performance developers can use this research to develop applications according to user needs and further research can use this research as a reference in the field of usability analysis using the System Usability Scale (SUS).

Abstract

This study developed a predictive method using the Naïve Bayes Classifier to assess depression levels in adolescents, focusing on psychological and environmental factors. The method measures the probability of various symptom categories: emotional, physical, and cognitive symptoms. Analysis results indicate that adolescents with a combination of these symptoms have a high risk of severe depression, with the highest probability value v=0.0056. The most common symptoms in the sample include decreased energy with fatigue and reduced activity, anxiety, changes in appetite (slight decrease or increase), and unexplained aches or pains, underscoring the strong influence of psychological factors. This predictive model aids in early identification of depression levels, and the Naïve Bayes Classifier is proven effective for analyzing relationships between internal and external factors. This research can enhance mental health awareness among adolescents and parents, and educate on the negative impact of environmental factors to support early detection and prevention of mental disorders.

Abstract

Batalyon C Pelopor of Central Java Satbrimob is a Polri agency unit under the auspices of the Brimob Unit Commander. This unit also has the task of fostering and improving personnel capabilities. The personnel of this unit are equipped with adequate special equipment for their duties. The logistics section inventory provides special equipment or other equipment needed while on duty, but problems were found in the manual inventory processing. In general, the design of this inventory management information system aims to provide information system management that can help manage logistics inventory with the prototype method and combine it with QR Code, in order to provide updates on the borrowing process, returns and valid results reports to the leadership. In research using the prototype method, there are several stages, including communication, quick plan, quick design modeling, construction of prototype, and deployment, delivery, and feedback. The development system in the form of a prototype that has been used in this study functions to help solve problems so that an Inventory Management Information System can be designed, built and proven to run well. The research results can be in the form of an inventory management information system for the logistics section of the Batalyon C Pelopor to implement borrowing (outgoing) and returning (incoming) activities, as well as valid report results addressed to the agency leadership.

Abstract

Batam is one of the leading tourist destinations in Indonesia, has many attractions, ranging from marine tourism, history, to shopping. However, there is no classification of tourist destinations based on the attractions and facilities available, which makes tourism development less effective. This study aims to group tourist destinations in Batam City based on tourist attractions and available facilities using the K-Means Clustering method with Rapidminer Application processing. This grouping is expected to help the government and tourism actors in designing more effective tourism development strategies that are in accordance with the characteristics of each destination group. The data used in this study consists of several tourist destinations in Batam, where the variables measured include tourist attractions (natural beauty, culture, activities, and accessibility) and facilities (accommodation, transportation, public facilities, and other supporting services). The results of the study show that there are three main groups of tourist destinations that have different characteristics, namely the destination group with high appeal and facilities is cluster_2 with 3 destinations, the middle group is cluster_1 with 1 destination, and the low group is cluster_0 with 3 destinations.

Abstract

According to the data set of the Central Statistics Agency of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, the number of students in Indonesia in 2021 was 8.96 million, and in 2022 the number of students increased to 9.32 million. Of the 9.32 million students in Indonesia, 4.49 million students pursue higher education at private universities (Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, 2023). This was followed by the number of universities which also increased, in 2022 reaching 4,004, up 0.73% compared to the previous year (BPS, 2023). In this case, XYZ University is affected by changes in the number of prospective new students, especially at the Faculty of Information Technology. The rapidly developing technology of this era triggers prospective students to learn about Information Technology. Thus, a prediction is carried out to help the Faculty of Information Technology of XYZ University know the number of enthusiasts for each study program and help arrange their resources. The prediction results of each study program show a deviation 10 compared to the actual data and an average RMSE of 0.44578.

Abstract

Employee attendance efficiency is an important factor in increasing work productivity. KPU Central Province is still using a manual attendance system that is prone to errors and data falsification. How to build a web-based attendance system that can improve employee attendance efficiency at KPU Central Province? Implementing an efficient and integrated web-based attendance system with the Scrum method to improve employee attendance efficiency at KPU Central Province. This research uses the Scrum development method in the system development process. The development of a web-based attendance system successfully increases the efficiency of employee attendance at KPU Central Province. The web-based attendance system integrated with the Scrum method is proven to reduce attendance time and improve the accuracy of attendance data. A web-based attendance system with the Scrum method is an effective solution to improve employee attendance efficiency at KPU Central Province. This system is proven to be more accurate, efficient, and integrated with the work process. The implementation of this system needs to be accompanied by training and socialization for employees. Regular system upgrades and development can be done to optimize system performance

Abstract

Technology makes many people live a fast-paced and instant life so they need other help to take care of household needs such as house cleaning help, many difficulties in finding help with house cleaning services arise from the distrust of a service provider towards house cleaning workers so they are very good If a website is created to search for house cleaning services, the website can be held responsible starting from security, price transparency and the quality that can be provided. The existence of a website for searching for house cleaning services helps people who need house cleaning assistance to more easily consult about the condition of their house and the price they are looking for according to their budget without needing to make an order directly by visiting the place or company, just using a cell phone, everything is more convenient. The design of this website has 3 user views, namely administration, workers/service bidders and customers or service users. The design uses the HyperTex Markup Language and Cascading Style Sheet programming language. The results of this research produce a website with user-friendly features.

Abstract

Admission of New Students (PPDB) is the process of accepting prospective new students which is carried out by state and private educational institutions every year. The Ministry of Education and Culture continues to encourage every educational institution to be able to adapt to technological advances, one of which is the process of accepting new students. Harapan Mulia Palembang Integrated Islamic Junior High School (SMPIT) is a private educational institution in the city of Palembang, providing education at junior high school level. The process of accepting new students at SMPIT Harapan Mulia Palembang is still carried out using the conventional method, which has several disadvantages such as being limited by distance because prospective students have to come to school to register, damage and loss of registration data. To support the process of accepting new students to be more efficient, the author built a website-based online PPDB information system. This research was conducted at SMPIT Harapan Mulia Palembang, the system development method that the author uses is Extreme Programming (Xp). With this website-based online PPDB information system, students no longer need to come to school to register, the registration process can be done anywhere and at any time. Apart from that, with this system, it is easier for SMPIT Harapan Mulia Palembang to manage registration data for prospective students.

Abstract

This study discusses the performance comparison of three classification algorithms: K-Nearest Neighbors (k-NN), Naive Bayes, and Support Vector Machines (SVM), in assessing student performance at a Vocational High School specializing in Computer Engineering. The objective of this research is to identify the most effective algorithm for classification based on various evaluation metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-Score. The experimental results show that the SVM algorithm has the best performance with an accuracy of 93.2%, precision of 93.4%, recall of 93.2%, and F1-Score of 93.1%. Naive Bayes ranks second with an accuracy of 86.2%, precision of 86.8%, recall of 86.2%, and F1-Score of 86.4%. The k-NN algorithm is in the last position with an accuracy of 81.0%, precision of 81.0%, recall of 82.0%, and F1-Score of 80.0%. Therefore, the SVM algorithm is recommended as the best model for classification in the context of this research.

Abstract

Laundry businesses provide services related to washing clothes and similar items. In terms of marketing, they still rely on promotions through various social media platforms such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, and others. Social media enables them to promote their services to a broader audience. However, while this strategy is quite effective in certain social circles, promotions through Facebook and similar platforms are often easily forgotten. This is because most users utilize social media to interact with family members or discuss current issues, rather than searching for services like laundry. Additionally, there is a lack of clear information about the service packages offered, which makes it difficult for potential customers to understand the available options. Another challenge faced is the limited ordering system, where customers can only place orders by phone or by visiting the business location. Currently, promotions are also confined to a limited network, such as coworkers and relatives. Therefore, there is a need for efforts to expand the promotional reach so that this laundry business can attract more customers. This study uses the SDLC software development method, implemented in the form of a mobile application with the e-marketing SOSTAC approach. It is hoped that this new system will enable the laundry business to market its services more widely, increase its appeal to new customers, and streamline the generation of reports needed for business operations.
